I think it’s solid app, whether it be your primary solo hunting / mapping app or one that supplements others - it definitely should have a top spot in ones hunting arsenal.
Not sure about some of the comments about the maps lacking detail. SpartanForge has multiple map types you can cycle through and I found spartan forge to have the highest level of detail compared to some other popular ones out there.
nationwide private / public land boundary and info in one place without breaking the bank. that’s solid!
moon data is nice, local browse I thought was an awesome addition, detailed weather info with dominant wind direction and history. all this and i haven’t even mentioned the movement predictor…
here’s the thing - after listening to many podcasts with the creator I believe he and his crew are passionate about what they do, believe in their product and will do their very best to deliver a quality product that seeks to enhance the hunters arsenal. and all this while not being redundant! great app guys i’m enjoying it.

SpartanForge is the best in the hunting community with all it offers compared to others. This is SpartanForge that has others actually updating their their systems and adding new features. It pushed the boundaries and continues to set the bar for other apps like it. The data that is used behind Spartan Forge isn’t wives tales and dreams but data from studies, insurance agencies, patterns from radio collared deer, and just a hint of magic! Has helped me in the field immensely and continue to see how it’s not just a prediction app but knowledge based and proves to be true over and over for me.

I’ve used several other hunting apps for land navigation, weather tracking, and prediction movement. Spartan Forge was a quite useful tool to use last season. The movement and pattern predictions were spot on for my area in North Carolina and helped to understand if I needed to push closer to bedding or not. I have been keeping journal entries of each hunt to build my own database of intel support.

The customer service has been fantastic so far and quick to answer any questions I have had. I’m looking forward to any new features that they are able to add on!

I downloaded SpartanForge about 2 wks ago and I am pretty excited about it, while I am still learning a lot about using it, I love it!
Because I got it right in the middle of hunting season it isn’t my most used hunting map however I use it some and plan to really dive into it in the off season.
I am super pumped for the new features and all that will be added as time goes along.
Possibly the biggest thing I appreciate about it is the staff behind it. Genuine guys who are passionate about white tails. Especially Bill Thompson, seems to be a super nice guy that wants to put a great product into hunters hands at a very reasonable price.
I was introduced to SpartanForge by Seek One and East Meets West. I listened to some of the podcasts from East Meets West when Beau Martonik (host) had Bill Thompson (Spartan Forge founder) on the show. The knowledge Bill has about deer and the data he obtained to pour into SpartanForge is impressive.
Great app Bill! I am fired up about it!

Not sure if this is trying to follow my phones dark mode vs light mode but currently in daytime hours the text is so light on a light background that it’s hard for me, a 40 year old with perfect vision, to read. I encourage the team to revisit the design with Accessibility standards in mind and hit those standards.

The touch areas are also quite small and at least in this beta release very buggy. It’s odd that some areas of the temp/barometric scale are slidable but the days themselves are not. This might be a bug. But currently makes it most almost unusable.

The view into a single day is tiny and doesn’t bring forward much of the hour to hour predictions. Honestly the best app UX/UI pattern out there for this type of data is Deercast. I strongly encourage a redesign that gets closer to what you see there.

Overall SpartanForge seems to have much better AI behind it but the UX is not great. I wish a lot more user testing had been done. I’d be afraid that these problems end up killing what would be a great tool.

Great app, I’ve been using it since I first heard about it on a podcast (diy sportsman I think) about a year ago. SpartanForge is incredible compared to the first incarnation, I’m looking forward to what else the developers have in the pipe for it. Love the huge pin options and how well they’re organized. The pins make my scouting/mapping more precise and make referring to my maps quick and easy to interpret when in the field. It’s already replaced all my other apps.

I’ve loved SpartanForge so far. At least in my area, the prediction feature has been almost spot on. This has helped determine where I set up in reference to bedding, feeding areas, etc.

I’ve also loved using the journaling feature as it allows me to keep all of my notes and observations in the same place. Overall, I would highly recommend this hunting app.

Finally!! An app that uses REAL DATA of radio collared deer, and has built a nural network, to tell me if the deer in my area are moving. This is so cool - just take my money forever already. No wonder other apps show their celebrities looking into a crystal ball - that’s all they’re doing; guessing. SpartanForge isn’t guessing at all, it’s using data off radio collared deer and using it to predict movement. Beyond cool. Awesome work, Spartan Forge!

I love the functionality of this application, that will likely replace a couple I have already. The forecast is pretty accurate, the orienteering mode helps navigating out of the woods at dark, and the swipe map feature always you to change the map display quickly. Love it! Veteran created…

The Ariel imagery is incredible, the offline dependability is solid, the icon list for way points is seemingly endless, it’s an all around great app. Priced significantly lower than other hunting apps, Spartan forge is a no brainer! Plus all the historical weather and weather related features, it really helps the die hard hunters out while afield.

SpartanForge does almost everything and for the price it’s unbeatable! Maps include topo, mountain, property lines, and a regular satellite map, it tells you temps at all times for the next week, the deer patterns and where you should hunt. It also includes fact about your state such as how many hunters and how many deer are killed

It’s obviously still in the beginning stages, but it’s lacking some things that I enjoy with other apps. Mostly more details on the map, such as national forests, trails, & more detailed topography lines. The intel seems pretty vague & not super helpful. I wish it offered more explanation as to how the AI works & why it’s saying what it’s saying. I’m sure it will get better over time, but as of now it’s lacking some things.

All the features of SpartanForge are nice. But after hearing how detailed and nice the maps are supposed to be. I have to say i was vary disappointed. The map quality is the worst out of every other app i have used. I hope that this will be fixed later on and i will try app again. Also half the time i open app, the map will not load or turns completely black.

This is the best hunting app there is … and I had them all drive an hour to hunt my farm and winds wrong on all the apps but Spartan forge … I sat down other day and spent some time on SpartanForge and recently deleted all my other apps quit wasting your time on other junk apps and buy Spartan forge

Love SpartanForge so far. There are a bunch of mapping apps out there on the market but spartan forge takes it to the next level. Quality layers, reliable information, all around great app to rely on. The intel option is really helpful! If you’re looking for a great outdoor app… this is it.

The imagery in SpartanForge is crazy good, the intelligence for when deer are moving is very accurate, 10/10 app would recommend purchasing, and its only like 7 months old!!

I’ve been waiting to try SpartanForge for months. I got the email a few minutes ago that it finally hit SpartanForge Store and I immediately downloaded it. Man, was I disappointed.

I hate to crush someone’s dreams but this subscription-based app provide zero value. I’ve already uninstalled it. I’m honestly baffled about the hype from the folks at SeekOne.

The UX is awful and the features are similar to ever free app out there. It’s like a developer made this without consulting a designer or a hunter.

I live in Nashville, hunt in Nashville and the aerial resolution on the map is worse than the leading hunt app that begin with O and ends with X. Can’t imagine how bad it would be in a rural area.

Don’t waste your time or money. Sorry Spartan, I really wanted to like it.

I really like the features of SpartanForge and the info gathered, but the map quality is poor at best. When zooming in to look at an area, you aren’t able to make anything out it becomes so pixelated. I will probably cancel my subscription, if it wasn’t for the map quality I would really enjoy SpartanForge.

SpartanForge is great! I have a few other similar apps but none come close to the amount of information or mapping. The different views available are extremely beneficial. If you hunt, you need SpartanForge.

I’m not sure if it’s on my end or not. It shouldn’t be. It could be because it’s brand new but I try to go to the intel option and it keeps crashing every time I hit it. I’ll definitely be trying again in a few weeks when all the bugs are worked out

I love how easy SpartanForge is to use the map details are awesome the intel feature and how you can go back and check previous wind conditions my favorite part is the journal option being able to enter data about certain locations whether I’m hunting or just scouting

Great app! Just started using it going to be taking my little brother out opening day next Saturday can’t not wait to use it and get him a buck!! SpartanForge is going to take over for sure can’t wait to use it next year.

Great app! The maps are the best around and having the deer prediction is just an added bonus. A ton of deer research has been used for that as well. With each update it keeps getting better and better! Awesome app!
