I love the idea of AIPlantIdentifierApp so I’m really sad that I can’t check it out fully on the free trial. I signed up for the free trial but AIPlantIdentifierApp refuses to recognize that I have a trial account. When I click “Restore” I get an error message that says “No valid purchase”, and then when I scan a plant in the identifier it won’t display the articles about the species I get hits for. This is an expensive subscription so I think I deserve a chance to make sure I like all the features before buying it. So I’m probably gonna cancel tomorrow. Come on guys, this could be a great thing for the world if you fix the issues.

Trial is for 3 days AFTER you agree to continue to pay on auto renew at $8/week! Honestly that is way to expensive for plant help. Didn’t realize this was completely useless without a paid subscription.
And AIPlantIdentifierApp requires permissions to share your information for advertising and sharing to other companies.

It “may” be an ok app if you continuously shell out some serious $ but the free option is simply worthless. Won’t even allow you to scan the same tree twice to see if it was correctly identified, which it did not. Even I can tell the difference between a bush and a 50ft tree.

I downloaded because of one tree , I snapped a few clear photos and not once did it show a tree in the identity, it kept showing flowers , then it wouldn’t allow me to keep trying it kept saying I needed to sign up for its $7.99 a week fee - if I can’t get one single identified photo, that is one app I will not invest in

I understand in app purchases but not being able to fully see what AIPlantIdentifierApp can do without restrictions was a huge let down. I couldn’t even use a single function before AIPlantIdentifierApp was requested money. No thanks, I’m definitely deleting this.

Should be no star!! I looked at this for 2 minutes then deleted it when it said $7.99!
I still got charged the $7.99! I am trying to get a refund, so far no luck! It’s outrageous and wrong! Not sure where to go next! Please stay away from this one!!!

How is it possible that Pothos or Snake Plant don’t show up in a search. I don’t know the Latin names…isn’t that what AIPlantIdentifierApp is for? Too bad because I really like the troubleshooting and depth of their care instructions.

Used there email to report an issue with a charged subscription with no response I only intended to try AIPlantIdentifierApp but easily, and accidentally purchased a subscription. Cannot find a way to remove the annual renewal

I signed up for the free trial so I decided to start by scanning a plant I knew the name of. The guesses from AIPlantIdentifierApp weren’t anywhere near correct on a common succulent.

After downloading I was opted into the $4.99/week option. 😳 So I gave it a try anyway. After taking pics of 3 different plants it got ZERO correct and then I couldn’t take more pics for testing without going through more options. If I get three days to test it then give me three days, not three pics.
I’ve removed this one promptly.
