i can’t open the apps and i can’t search to my apple store after i pay

Hello. Im using this app, but recently cant open it anymore. I receive messages asking to open to activate it, but cant.

I have received a number of notifications telling me that Prime Shield is not working & that I need to change the App. The App will not open open on either my iPhone or iPad. Is there an issue?

I downloaded the app because I read it was FREE. Then after I loaded it onto my phone I saw it was $9.99 a week!?! Is this true
