I currently am a subscriber to Roboshield Premium. I had some issues and had to restart my phone. When suddenly Roboshield Premium knocked me out. I resubmitted my information on RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker but RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker states I need to have a subscription so I go to restore purchase, nothing happens, then I try to upgrade but apple notifies me that Im already a subscriber. I already knew this so I contact customer support. They ask for a receipt which I send but they argue it’s not the latest receipt and want another way for me to verify. I send them the message from apple that I’m a current subscriber and can’t resubscribe to something I’m already getting. They won’t accept that either.
They continue to state that there’s no record of my account yet I’m paying for it. The last exchange, they asked for another receipt for which I attempted to send but now I’m unable to add attachments. Customer Service has not tried to assist in any manner. I had over 60 blocked calls on the system but everything is lost since I can’t get into my account. Apple finally suggested I find a new app that actually works so that’s what I’m going to do. The business practice is awful if you encounter an issue. They do not care to assist the customer but have no problem taking your money while unable to locate your account. Haha.

I’ve been using RoboShield for the better part of a week, and I still receive spam and telemarketing calls regularly. Even when RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker detects them as such, I have to manually report and block every number. RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker will not block the calls on its own, as one would expect from such an app. This has to be the most worthless app I’ve ever used, and is more of a scam than anything else. You might as well just light your money on fire, and hope for the best.

Every day I have to manually open RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker in order for it to recognize my premium subscription. It says “upgrade to premium” before recognizing that I’m a subscriber 2 seconds later. It automatically switches off call blocking everyday. I have to MANUALLY set it every morning. I talked to support and they sent a message back 5 days later saying, “We double-checked that you are a premium subscriber and you are, so it’s impossible that this would happen to you!” Except... it is happening to me... Hopefully a 1 star review will convince them? Consumers have little recourse these days lol

So I purchased a Robo Shield instead of getting one of the free apps expecting to have a significant reduction in the number of scam phone calls and texts that I receive. In fact I’m getting as many texts and scam phone calls as I ever did. And if the only way this program works is from my relentless effort to record and block every phone call and text that I receive then it’s just a waste of my time because new numbers are always showing up. This program does not save me time it takes more of my time managing the blocked phone calls and texts, and it still doesn’t work.

All of these apps require some paid plan crap that is stupid and useless. I understand you guys have to make money and all, but there is literally no free plan at all. I’m sure even if a free plan was added with limited features, there would still be plenty of people buying the paid plan to get all of the features. So I just don’t see how making RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker completely hidden behind a paywall does anything besides make the company look dumb.

It would be amazing if a free plan with limited features was added, but I doubt that’ll happen.

RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker does nothing. I’m in the 7 day free trial and I am still getting spam calls everyday. RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker appears to do nothing. When I report a call as spam from my iPhone call history I have to report the call twice. And the business of categorizing the call as a scam or solicitation, etc… I don’t know what they want. I don’t answer.

I thought RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker was going to block/silence all suspected spam calls so I don’t have to be interrupted with my phone ringing. But my phone is still ringing!

I don’t understand the benefit of RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker.

“FREE”!! to d/l yet is nothing more to d/l something to use up more space
😂 $13/subscription to get a working app
🤣 How many apps have I seen who do the same B/S
I have one that is ok, & IT IS “FREE” no subscription to have to do to use RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker
It even reminds you that you need to update it so it can help keep you safe from calls
The other app doesn’t get them all, but when I
1st d/l’d it I went from 8 calls to 0
You can add numbers to be blocked
This one I got real uneasy when I read the terms & policy
I don’t want someone tracking my calls
That is 🐃 💩 saying it is to id you and we use the information to help make RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker better 🤣
Man if you can read between the lines on that you need to be USED
Have no intention of even clicking agree with the T&P cause it’s not safe
I stick to my app I have not this one
This is like the saying goes “Buyer Be Ware” !!!

RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker is just as much of a scam as the call that it acts like it is going to block. RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker hasn’t blocked a single call. It’s really not that hard, it’s always the same number with the last four digits changed, how hard can that be to pick up on?

App makes you think it’s free by not having a purchase price but then forces you to subscribe on order to use any features.

Devs: be an honest company and just charge for RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker . Don’t be the sleazy people who trick users into paying.

I had what I think is a fairly simple question, but the only responses I ever get after emailing customer support are along the lines of “We hope you’ve had a chance to review our response and will be closing the request,” to which I reply “no, there has been no response at all,” to which I get the same reply. And again, and again, so I give up. RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker doesn’t do anything as far as I can see, but I guess I’m not surprised, given the company doesn’t know how email works.

I have corresponded with support. Each response has some text, however in the space aside and/or below ‘resolution’ there is only empty space. Each of these responses is a followed up by mail that says support has not received a reply to their resolution; therefore, they say, my case is being closed.
I send another and another and get the same result.
My account was canceled last week and reinstated on the same day, without explanation. All my data was deleted.

There are a few issues with RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker on iOS 14. The main one and the most annoying by far is the system notifications saying "Robo shield pasted from x location," meaning RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker is reading my clipboard in the background. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they're scanning for phone numbers to block, but still, it's suspicious, unnecessary, and annoying. I even turned off background refresh for RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker in iOS settings, but the notifications keep coming somehow. Hopefully, they can remove this behavior soon.

I’d love for RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker to work, but even though I have a premium subscription—verified numerous times through my iOS settings—RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker won’t allow me to enable any call categories: I get a popup saying I need a premium subscription. On the popup, if I tap Purchase Subscription, iOS tells me (rightly so) that I’m already subscribed. So, I’m stuck. I give it 2 stars because their support has been good, but we’ve been messing with this for a couple of weeks. Just can’t keep trying to debug this issue.

I don’t know why but my Robo shield stopped working. I can’t share the number. I can’t look up a number without it saying to subscribe even though I’m already subscribed. This is going on for two months now and I have not received any valid help. I have gotten suggestions on how to keep reloading it but that doesn’t work. I liked it very much when it worked but it doesn’t toggle the things I want to block and keeps referring me back to subscribe to Robo shield. Even when I try to re-subscribe it says I’m already subscribed. I’m extremely frustrated

RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker is great and works well for me. It knows when a junk call comes in it’s silenced. The banner pops up on the screen and I can tell who’s calling. I do run the numbers to see who’s number some times it knows & others they don’t. So I block them. If it was important that they contact me the business that I deal with have my email.

Your app is doing a very good job 👏 in blocking telemarketer calls I get 1-800 calls every whip-stitch; however, some of them could be debt collector calls, but I consider them in the category of Nuisance calls it doesn’t matter even political calls are in the same category. Keep up the good work. 🙂

I am truly thankful I have RoBoKiller it has been great not to be bothered by call’s that I never asked for I can sit in a family chair and rest at 83 years old I love people so much but spam calls isn’t what I needed nor wanted I know it has been very busy yet very thankful for God’s Grace in our lives Bishop Ken Bolin

I’ve been getting so sick of spam calls lately and was in desperate need of a simple solution. Robo Shield lived up to its promise — the number of robo calls I’ve gotten has decreased significantly since using RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker ! I actually feel like I can answer unknown calls now without fearing it’s a scammer. Highly recommended.

I’ve been a loyal user of Hotspot Shield for many years so I was happy to hear when they released Robo Shield. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it does seem to fix this huge problem of getting spam calls. I used to get at least 5 of these a day and now I don’t get any at all.

I got an email concerning a bad review for RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker in which I have never used. It seems my 8 year old not only downloaded RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker but left a bad review. His review “Do not get it, it dose not work the same people call me.” I’ll ask him in the morning but I’m sure it’s him because of his spelling of “does.” His intentions were good as I do get a lot of spam calls. Maybe I’ll try RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker out anyway. I changed the review to 5 stars as I can’t figure out how to delete the review.

I always read the terms and conditions and read the privacy policy. Which when I read their terms they did something that most don’t do which is extremely refreshing...the break down the policy in “normal people” words. Unfortunately, it won’t let me click accept terms. I’ve tried closing, reopening, I’ve tried it all...haven’t even been able to test it out. I have a screenshot but reviews won’t let me post

10/10 would recommended.. the only time I want spam is in my masubis.

I kept getting up to 5 spam calls everyday and since I installed RoboShieldSpamCallBlocker it went down to 2 at maximum. Highly recommend!
