Been a member at EBC for ~20 years and EastBankClubMember rarely works at all. It’s on an infinite loader most of the time - so much so that I expect it not to work more often than I expect it to. The UX is awful. For example, it shows you as signed up for a class when you are on the waitlist. EastBankClubMember is inaccessible to the point that it breaks the law.
All the above can be persevered through when you have a great club to go to. Yet, as of the past month, ebc has massively gone downhill. It’s as if member services is seeing how many people they can shove in the club while decreasing quality drastically. The facilities simply don’t support the number of members they have. A lot of us kept the club going during covid and the great recession but now we are getting punished for our loyalty.
Performed most recent update and app is acting glitchy. Schedule won’t load at all
Constant issues with infinite loading while trying to view schedules and the only support you’ll get it to “uninstall/reinstall.” That process can end up locking you out/password recovery failing. IT needs to actually dedicate time to troubleshooting and provide an updated version instead of denying it’s an issue or saying “check back in a few days.”
I’ve been a member for over a year and have to delete and reinstall EastBankClubMember on average once per week. It constantly fails to load class schedules and CAC reservations, fails to register for classes or book reservations, or just generally stops working. Right now it won’t even let me log in. The web browser unfortunately isn’t much better on mobile. Frustrating that such an expensive gym can’t make a functional app.
I love East Bank but EastBankClubMember is HORRIBLE

In theory, having a club app is a great idea but EastBankClubMember is absolutely terrible. It’s always glitching, class schedule does not work for hours / days on end, sometimes it won’t even take payments.

Extremely glitchy app. Doesn’t work most of the time when trying to log in or schedule classes after being logged in. Hopefully the EBC gets this fixed
It is completely impossible to book appointments via EastBankClubMember. You click “book it - everything is correct” and nothing happens, you have to just call. I really would like EastBankClubMember to be fixed. I work for a software company I am happy to help just give me a shout.
The most absurdly frustrating, under-performing app I have ever used. If I wasn’t forced to use it I would have deleted it for good years ago. Sometimes the data doesn’t load… sometimes the pricing is wrong… sometimes it says your login info is incorrect! I’d like to give it 0 stars! Deleting it 8-10x a month in the hopes it comes back right is NOT a proper consumer experience.
Now saying no classes available. The schedule doesn’t load a majority of the time. I often have to delete EastBankClubMember , turn my phone off and on then reinstall. That doesn’t even solve the problem sometimes. EBC needs to fix EastBankClubMember. When I contacted the club they told me there was notify could do and weren’t aware of other members with issues. This is clearly not the case.
When it works it’s great but often times the schedule won’t load and the solution is to log out. Half the time it won’t log me back in and I can’t reset my password because it doesn’t recognize my information.
The load times for classes takes FOREVER, if it ever loads at all.
Too often the schedule doesn’t load, but when it does load, it’s glitchy. For example, I can get the day’s schedule to load, select a class I want to attend, then the class registration page won’t load. The opposite is true, too. If I manage to schedule a class one day, and need to cancel or change that class on a different day, the club schedules and my personal schedules don’t load. This has been happening on both my phone and my wife’s phone for months, so it’s definitely not the device.
The server is down multiple times a day.
Works well, is simple and easy to use and have not needed to use my card (which I completely lost) or the website once since downloading. Some general bugginess, but nothing you can’t work around by going to the website. The core functionality works great - don’t listen to the other reviews.
If I ever forget my card or anything, it’s super nice that I can just use EastBankClubMember on my phone and get in. Also having quick access to all of the classes is very nice and saves a lot of time. A few other key features are the club occupancy level at that exact time, dining menus, and much more.
Your newest update in the last couple days broke the filter in the EBC Class Schedule section — now, when you try to filter by clicking Brickyard or Cycling or Racquet, it doesn’t work.
Had no other way to let you know!
I live for east bank. EastBankClubMember is the greatest thing to ever happen to me.
