Truckers be aware of this app. They advertise fake price to lure drivers. Here how it works. Let’s say that you are 250 miles away from a certain truck stop which the app advertises an amazingly cheap diesel price. You skip some decent gas stations to head that gas station with the cheap price. As you get closer to that gas station this smart TruckSmarter app cancels your booked price claiming that you made a purchase and even asks you the feedback how the purchase went through. It happened to me a couple of times; please post if anyone else experienced similar situation. I suspect that it is their strategy to trick drivers by advertising cheap prices and as you get close they are offering you a market-average price.

I requested access to the app March 4, 2022, then received a text message on March 5, 2022 stating I am ready to come off the waiting list. The text detailed to reply to the text to chat now or notify of a good date time to be contacted. I replied to the text that I was available with no contact. I receive text messages regarding new broker/carriers added to the platform and inquiring if I have used their app. With numerous texts and email replies to gain access, as of October 3, 2022 still do not have access to use the app.

I was happy with Truck smarter for a few months but got hit with fraudulent charges on my Visa debit card disputed with Visa took almost 45 days for them to tell me they’re siding with the fraudulent charges. I lost $250. The same company charged my capital one card Mastercard took Capitol one about 30 minutes to get my money back so all my visa backed car are now closed cut up I will not be using visa backed accounts anymore
