It’s worse that you can only enter left to right and have no time/ choice to submit your guess. -It’s not bad that there’s 6 colors that don’t include black or white. - But should be able to use a color more than once. -I’m deleting for a different version of master mind that is like the real one.

I understand what needs to be done. I don’t understand how I can go from having 3 in the right spot and the 4th not being there to simply replacing the 4th and then none of the colors are in the right spot. This game makes 0 sense. Anyone saying this game is good is just feeling the creator get more people to download this game.

I DLed it tried it and decided it wasn’t for me. Too simple, no sound, nothing other than the game. Ok to each….
But I really think it’s rude when every feedback note gets a, “Thanks for your review” and a smile emoji. Ummm there were only fifteen reviews at this writing. Come on, Alex, put a little heart in it.

I do love how this game looks, although I agree with the other reviews about making it more multiplayer rather than playing a bot. also I wish the colors could be used multiple times instead of just once, to make it more challenging. I got bored of this game after ten minutes of playing because I’d guess the pattern in 5 or less tries.

I love the game but i dont like that i have to put the colors in order from left to right. It kind of throws off my thought process.

I like to find the answer using a pattern of repeating the same colors. This game doesn't let me do that, so I notched it down one star. Having said that, Codebreaker is well made, it's easy to use, and it's free with no ads, so it rocks!

I haven’t played this game in 30 years maybe and stumbled on it in Codebreaker Store and I’m enjoying it immensely.

As noted by others, thanks for not colorizing and animating this to distraction. This is a game that thrives on concentration. I showed it to my 10 yr old and she immediately picked up on how the game is played and is getting quite adept at it in a short time.

If I was to suggest any improvements, I would add a 5-place option and (unless I’m overlooking it) the ability to skip a current game and start a new one. Sometimes I put the game down and want to restart with a new board later.

So glad you made my favorite game for my iPad. One suggestion. Please make it so that you have to press a button to enter your complete guess. I need to see my choices in place to figure it out and it might be too late for me to see my error.

I love Codebreaker! It takes up very little storage space on my phone and has no ads! The only thing I would change about it is that the codes never have repeated colors, so it’s not as challenging as the mastermind board game.

I really appreciate the developer’s commitment to making this straightforward version of the classic Mastermind game. Clean UI. Fun gameplay. Just what I was looking. And thank you for no tracking of user data etc.

I have never once left a review on an app, but this is just really good. Super clean interface, no ads, exactly how the original game plays. Just happy to see someone put in the effort for the community.

This game is exactly what Codebreaker Store needs more of. Mastermind is beautifully simple, with a clean and intuitive design that makes it a joy to play. There are no ads, no in-app purchases—just pure gameplay. I honestly would pay for it to support the developer, because it’s clear this was made with thoughtfulness and care. A truly kind genius created this, and I’m so grateful for it. I’m off to see if this developer has made more games—fingers crossed, because I’d download them in a heartbeat!

I’ve never played mastermind before but I love puzzles and this challenges my deduction skills. However, please change the orange color - I have trouble distinguishing it from the red. It’s an age thing. Thanks.

This game is awesome! If your hesitating to get it, get it! It has no ads and the rules are very well explained. I knew how to play when I downloaded it, but if I didn’t know how to play I could have learned easy from the rules. Love the colors and that its organized nicely.

Well designed and easy to use. I had never played Mastermind before, so I wish there was an “instructions tab” (maybe I couldn’t find it?) but after reading the “about” info here in Codebreaker Store it was perfectly logical. 5 stars.

Finally an app that doesn’t bombard you with ads every single time you start a new game. Exceptionally fun board game that is translated to a simple, no-frills app. A breath of fresh air! Well done

Perfect app. It's just the game without anything extra to worry about. No lives, teams, unlockables, etc. If you want a simple puzzle game, Codebreaker is great.

It’s the game of Mastermind, and you’re not constantly interrupted by ads. In fact, you are never interrupted by ads. You get to play the game. Could it have more features and thus be better? Yes, but I would rather use this than use a game with more features but be interrupted to hit the smallest “close ad” button possible.

My only reservation is you can’t play with two players. The board game I’m used to has 10 rows but I don’t find I ever need 10 so I’m fine with 8.
