Useless. Can’t do anything with it without paying for the full version. I don’t know if the full version is any better. Smdh.

Connected to hero pro after I downloaded BluetoothRemote . Then paid $6.99 for pro in order to actually do anything with the all. Now it will not connect at all, just keeps asking for pin, but will not pair when entered.

It didn’t work at all when I tried to connect it It kept saying failed.

Every button asks to buy the full version without letting you even see if BluetoothRemote works, junk.. good luck.

It connects to the GoPro, but you can’t change a single setting or control the camera in any way. I just wasted 7 dollars.

My Bluetooth is on my camera has Bluetooth it won’t work I’m definitely going to delete BluetoothRemote

Don’t bother, BluetoothRemote will control your camera but viewing any files is not available unless you pay a fee of $6.99.

Great idea, poor implementation. Could connect my 10. Couldn’t connect my Hero 4 or Hero 7 despite following instructions (well, what few there are) and multiple tries.

App is extremely difficult to pair phone to camera maybe your engineers could look at alexia or ring doorbell or even blink cameras these apps are easy to use if I knew GoPro was so difficult I would never have purchased GoPro camera

I cannot get this to pair up with my iPhone and my hero 4. Bluetooth found it once but nothing worked so I deleted it for my devices on Bluetooth as instructed and now I can’t even get to recognize the camera. Shouldn’t be that difficult.

I have a GoPro Hero 9 and 12 and it won’t really connect to the 9 at all and the connection to the 12 is spotty at best. Hardly able to control anything on the 12 and the 9 does how up in the connection menus but BluetoothRemote actually won’t connect to it at all.
Biggest waste of $6.99 in a long time. Pretty much feels like I have been scammed out of $6.99!!

I literally don’t understand why they don’t just charge you upfront for BluetoothRemote because you literally can’t do anything unless you purchase the pro version! Like I said I just don’t understand why these app developers put out these apps “for free” when I’m fact there is nothing functionally free about it… Just my two cents for what it’s worth.

Having trouble.

This so far has been the best app. Only one that I can see has the preview functionality. Only wish is to be able to change camera names. I use all four cameras on a regular bases and would love to name each camera separately. Otherwise. Highly recommend

After fooling with with GoPro’s software for hours, BluetoothRemote works as advertised.

Just downloaded and appears to be working. I had to get a newer phone. I’m praying this will work!

So many years in hotel rooms past midnight trying to pair cameras… over.

In 10 minutes, paired 4 cameras and was ready to roll- in an environment with over 100 Bluetooth devices.

All 4 on one screen. Live preview might be a little laggy but still indispensable.

I will use this every time.

Worth a lot more than the price you are charging. Every other application should be this good.

Its safe to ignore the low ratings! Works great on my Hero5 Session, Hero8 and Hero10. The quick access to controls, controlling all cameras at once, and ability to edit presets etc makes this more powerful than the official app. It works EVERY TIME for me so far.

Changes I’d like to see:
- The UI could use an update, design and organization are not perfect.
- Watch app. I had to buy GoRemo to control from my watch and it’s absolutely terrible.
- Help tooltip buttons in the settings menus.

This application not only works but works consistently and provides a level of control of your cameras that I never had before. I look forward to continued improvement of BluetoothRemote even though just as is today it’s already perfect
