Accidentally went to camera and had nothing to scan. When I tried to go back there was no way to do it. Now when I open NYSExcelsiorPassScanner it stays at the camera part.

I would give this a 0 if I could. Because my expectation was that if this was designed in conjunction w/NYS it would be inclusive of ALL NYS COVID CARD FORMATS, including BOOSTER.
My CDC COVID card and booster DON’T have barcodes so it’s no good for me and my & family. So what’s the point of NYSExcelsiorPassScanner?

Things surrounding COVID are sooo TENUOUS. Why make NYSExcelsiorPassScanner that way too?

It’s great to have proof of vaccination on your phone so you don’t have to carry the card with you, however, it doesn’t allow you to add your Covid booster shot. If a yearly booster is the way of the future this should be corrected on NYSExcelsiorPassScanner , or it becomes worthless.
I wasted time thinking I wasn’t doing something correctly. It turns out I cannot enter my booster shot info. Otherwise this is a great idea.
NYSExcelsiorPassScanner works well enough, but having to renew monthly is tedious. Will probably delete NYSExcelsiorPassScanner due to this requirement.
I got my booster shot 11/05/2021. The notification said that it should be available to add 4-5 days after. Well, multiple attempts, after waiting a week, and as of today the booster information is still not available. As was stated in another review if you can’t get booster information, and boosters are going be a yearly think, excelsior passport isn't worth downloading.
Pass scanned March 29 - icon w/QR code states it expires 4/21/21!?! WT&?
Works like a charm pass are for 4 months long will be needed if they lift the mask mandate
The QR Code that the Excelsior Pass (NYS Wallet) produces is so large that some squares get squished down on the Apple Watch to rectangles or even smaller squares. This scanner is not robust enough to compensate.
Just downloaded app and added my wife’s and my pass to both our phones. Each pass shows expiration dates in mid-Sept 2021 and currently it’s mid-April and that’s perfectly fine with me. Expiration dates make perfect sense to me as experts learn more about the the virus, vaccine effectiveness period and if a booster shot update if needed. I don’t expect a “Lifetime Pass” like other app raters apparently do.
Looks like we didn't learn from the horrors of the 20th century. Exclusion of people from society based on arbitrary rules is the first step in the path to genocide. Today this is for covid, but what about tomorrow? It's better to not have this weapon in a totalitarian's arsenal.
