Watch Pet Reviews

For a while I really enjoyed this game, but I have had several serious issues that have not been addressed. First off, for a while the resources were not enough to last the whole day, I opened a chat about it, and there wasn’t any kind of response for two months, without any kind of answer, just an “hope this helps!” And a couple days ago the game has stopped giving me the free resources it promises. I sent another chat, and have not gotten a response despite it being sent during the working chat hours. I just want the resources I’m being promised. I should not have to pay for resources that should be free. I’ve had WatchPet for more than a year now, and these problems are still happening. Please fix this, I want to enjoy taking care of a virtual pet, but not if WatchPet is going to make it this difficult to do the bare minimum.
Update: I’m going to just delete WatchPet , as much as I care about my virtual pet it’s been multiple weeks since I started having the issue, and no fixes have been implemented. People have been having this issue for months now. I’m sad that after a year of taking care of my virtual pet I have to say goodbye, but it’s better than having to watch it suffer because I’m not getting the resources I need.

I liked this because it’s supposed to be something simple and cute, not some money greedy app that forces you to watch ads all the time but that’s what it has become. I used to get 5 of each supply every day and now I’m not getting them anymore. Better yet, I have actually paid for resources one time before and fallen into the trap of giving my money for a virtual pet which is already ridiculous, but now it’s not even giving me the restock. And why does WatchPet stop me about 5 seconds after I open it every time to give ads. It’s supposed to be a watch pet, similar to a tamagotchi, not a money fishing app. Never thought I’d get so frustrated to the point where I’d actually write a review for a free app. Figure it out, there’s manyyyy 1 star reviews with the same complaint as I. Just because you have a 4.3 star rating on here doesn’t mean everything is just dandy, you should be aiming for 5 and listening to your consumers.

It’s not enough that the free version is constantly nudging you to pay for WatchPet , but now WatchPet company seems to find it necessary to track data across apps. There is no reason an app about feeding a virtual dog requires this data to function. It’s not enough to seek payment, so you’re selling data too?

In addition, I have notifications off as with most apps. Most apps ask you once, maybe twice to turn them on. WatchPet will NOT stop. No, I don’t want to be reminded to feed a virtual dog. No, I don't want to be reminded to feed a virtual dog. No, I don't want to be reminded to feed a virtual dog.

You lost a user and potential customer with these abusive design choices. The art is cute and the widget works well, so it deserves a second star… and without these issues I probably would have been a customer.

This is really a fun app! I love that the animals each have their own personalities! I also love some of the features like actually having to walk to walk the dog (such a great way to encourage people to get exercise), having to complete each step of the bath and being able to take your pet to the pet park. It is very realistic and makes you feel like you are taking care of a any other pet.

However, I would like to see some improvements:

-When you go to the pet park, I wish there were more activities to do with your pet.

- I also wish you didn’t have to stay in WatchPet for some of the features like having your pet nap for instance. In real life, your dog could nap while you are doing other things.

-It would be nice to be able to adopt more than one of the same kind of pet and have each look slightly different.

-Paying for “no ads” is pointless. There is an ad that you have to stop to watch every 3 seconds it seems regardless of whether you purchase the “no ads” package.

- WatchPet would do better with an explanation of the points system and more prize offerings.

-There are a lot of glitches. Sometimes the pet locations freeze and you cannot change the location even though you have used your points to buy new ones.

So there is definitely room for improvement, but it is a great start! Fun App!

I like the game and and the realistic animals and having to take care of them. I wish that the tabby cat was a animal that you could get from the seat of WatchPet not having to get to a certain level or a lower level like 10 or 20 not 40. 40 seems a little extreme. I do like the game though and I wish that you could own 2 pets at one time I know that you can buy that but it should be where you can own 2 for free and 5 or more pets you should have to pay for. I think that the dog park should be a place where you can play fetch with your dogs and play with robot mice with your cats. Your fish you could let them got some sun and you could talk to other animal owners. You cockatiels could have a big wired cage where you can let your birds socialize with other birds and get sun and play and hide in some trees inside the cage. That brings me to my last thing and that is there should be a couple more breeds or fish and birds and maybe a few less breeds of dogs and cats like maybe 3 dogs 3 cats 3 fish 3 birds (3 of different breeds of each animal)

This widget app is super cute and it's fun but there could be less ads. Overall, this is a cute and fun app that people should totally get! Also, I love the minigames and how your pet cab think really funny stuff if they are hungry, thirsty, or bored. Plus, you don't have to clean up after them. I would recommend this to anyone else who wants a pet but like it's a big responsibility for you. I also like how you made it so that you can customize your pet and stuff. Something they should add is like more types of animals and more things to do with your pet. Thank you for your time! ❤😄(I also have a corgi named koala, they're my favorite animal 🐨❤🐶)

This game is amazing! If your about to get a pet you can try out this game and try to take care of it like it’s a real dog! I like that you can choose girl/boy/both and witch breed. However, there not that much breeds to choose from so, id like more breeds to choose from. Also, can you make more pets and not just a dog/cat. Other than that, it’s the best pet game I’ve played! It doesn’t have a lot of ads so, you can play instead of watching ads the whole time. Good job! :) 🐶

Tip: put more things to do with your dog like: go to the park, buy clothes or dog toys/food at the mall, go to the zoo, watch movies.
Tip 2: dog “emotions”: if ur dog is mad, make it where it can scratch/hurt you, if it’s sad make it feel better, it’s it’s hyper make it where there’s ✨zoomies ✨.

This is an awesome app it’s so cute! I like the wide variety of certain dogs and cats I can choose (kind of wish there was a little more pets) and I really like the iwatch feature! And I totally would have given WatchPet 5 stars but I wish there was more you could do on the Watch. Because on the phone you can play mini games and pet the animal but you can’t do that on the Watch! I wish you could all you can do on the Watch is feed, play, and water. That’s all you can do to the pet so please developers fix this and put more on the Watch please! I wish this would be fixed! Developers please fix this and I will give 5 stars!

First off, this game is great. Despite the reviews, I haven’t seemed to be getting any inappropriate ads. Three things though. One, the game is pretty repetitive. I mean there is nothing to do really. Two, it’s practically IMPOSSIBLE to get coins. As an add to that, is the whole pet pass thing. I saved for like three weeks to get 500 coins and when I did it just said “get the pet pass!” So whenever I’m bored of my pet, I delete WatchPet and redownload it to get a new pet. Three, the widgets are kinda weird. (I don’t know much about widgets so this could be normal) It just freezes and image that does not change so it looks like my pet is just constantly looking at a butterfly or something. My iPad is new so it can’t be my iPad. Other than those things, this game is great! I have a ragdoll cat named Cocoa. Would recommend!

First of all, I love this game! I have a corgi named wiggles and he is adorable!! I’ve gotten to a pretty high level, and I’m really enjoying it. The only reason I docked a star is because of the ads for games that are VERY inappropriate! If you want kids to play this game, or want me to recommend it to people, please remove the inappropriate ads and get a different sponsorship deal!! I understand that you need them to make money but it’s quite frankly disgusting how this game is rated for children yet you play those ads!!! Also, there isn’t much that you can do on this game, the games quickly get old and you cannot get another pet unless you pay for the pet pass, a monthly $4 subscription. It doesn’t seem like much, but don’t you already make enough money from the ads?!?! Thank you very much, and I hope you take my suggestions into account!

I actually really love WatchPet a lot & so does my granddaughter 💯 I was using it everyday for a while but my problem with it is that it's just way, way too expensive & I definitely can't afford it, that's for basically everything especially the price for a month & oh my gosh a year is crazy!!! I'd love to be a beta tester or something, anything 🖐 I'm being very very serious about this to, that's how much I love it & just to be able to use this great pet app because like I was just saying, I sure can't afford it, not to mention my husband I live on a fixed income month to month & are both disabled sadly. Love this game! So adorable and addicting! I enjoy all the games, the cute things you can do to care for your pet, and my favorite thing is the this app hotel. Highly suggest this, but if you absolutely despise ads, don’t get it. There’s a lot of long ads, especially to get rewards. I really don’t care though, and it’s so CUTE and ADORABLE and ADDICTIVE!!! I also love the interactive stuff like walking and meditating. The only thing I’m questioning is that in this app hotel, I have 3 cleaners. 1 works fine, but the other two just stand there, and I tried upgrading them but they still just stand there. There’s also an inappropriate ad that’s not suitable for younger children called Mafia’s Good Girl and it shouldn’t be on here, especially since the game is geared towards kids. But it’s fine. Yay!!!❤️💕🐶🐾🐱🦄🦜

I had an old dog named Thor and I miss him so much I was just scrolling for games to play or download and then I saw this when I saw this game I knew I could make a fresh start with Thor as my pet again he was a pitbull, chow chow mix. And he looked exactly like the Labrador. I am so happy I have my best friend home again. We had to get rid of him because he was too social. He would bark at everything and he would often escape his harness when we take him on walks he was a very good dog. He was really playful. He never bit anybody. He is now living at a barn. I am so happy I have my best friend home again thank you so much for making WatchPet! this is the best app in the world. It brought my best friend home. I hope you know that not all days are gonna be perfect like the day I had to say goodbye to Thor, but it’s all right. At least you have the memories that you have.❤️

The title pretty much sums up WatchPet . I actually got it for my Apple Watch for something simple to do while waiting in lines, doctor's offices, ...etc. With that said, I am a self-proclaimed kid at heart.
The time required for the game is minimal, they different animals are adorable AND it's free to play. Because it's free, I don't mind getting the basic stuff that's fee. But, I also wouldn't mind paying a minimal amount to have new games for each animal as well. For instance, a game that teaches the bird words, or "training games" for teaching the dogs how to sit, roll over, ...ect. All of these would be awesome additions to the game. Anyway, that's the only constructive criticism I have to offer. Thanks to the developers for making a game that can be handed across from iPad to Apple Watch!!

Hi. So, I love everything about WatchPet. It has a pretty good variety of pets to choose from, and I know that more are in the works. I especially love the educational information that is presented about each animal breed. However, I did notice some things that could be improved to make the game easier to play for people like myself who are living with vision loss and who use text-to-speech software to navigate our devices via hearing and touch. First, please make the gender selection screen easier to navigate and select by adding the appropriate text coding so that on screen objects are described. Second, please let the same text coding be added for any minigames and care actions, as well as for the pet stats. This will allow everyone to play and care for their virtual companion, regardless of how well they can see. Also, please consider making an app like this for raising babies one day.

So I have this dog called bubba and he’s a corgi (in this game) 𝚒 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝚖𝚢 𝚙𝚎𝚝 𝚍𝚘𝚐 the games I LOVE cuz it’s easy to hard and you can get NEW PETS!?? The Maltese is so cute *even though I haven’t unlocked it yet* I could train a dog on my iPad just love this game love it idc about the ads but can u pls fix the price on the pets pls??? 500 sheeh! Lower it to like 300 & I love the meditation walking & jogging and other features I absolutely luv sleeping 😴 like sleeping feature and most importantly *drummroll* no lags!!! And I love how there is a limit to food and water cuz if u didn’t have that bubba could eat forever ♾️ & speaking of “eat forever” why don’t you make an update for how much can u eat this game is ★★★★★that means 5 stars bye!

I love you his game the only thing I would like more is that you could have more games and more animals and that maybe you could connect with friends that have WatchPet so their pet could meet mine. :) and that you could maybe chat with your pet and well I don’t know why I was thinking this but if you had a girl cat or dog she could have a baby or 2 or, well it’s not really necessary but really I would like all of this oh and if you could walk your dog or at least if it could go to the bathroom! And sometimes I can’t take care of him because I have important things to do and he gets really hungry and thirsty and needs to play so I was thinking about that you could add like a type of food that like really makes him full and doesn’t need me to go give him food and stay healthy and same for the water and games, or at least that the pet could stay there full or almost full but just anything that doesn’t make the pet hungry at every time! Watch Pet is a perfect game for when you are bored at home and the games are super fun, the only thing that i would probably not do if i made this game is that there is this really cute dog called a Matese and a really cute cat called a Tabby in the game that i would totally get over all the other animals, the only problem is that you have to be at LEVEL 40 to get the cute Maltese and Tabby, so that means that if you would like to get a Maltese or a Tabby you would have to get a different animal first, but don't worry all of the animals have a great personality on the inside and are cute on the outside!😊

First of all, I adore how this looks on my Apple Watch. Second of all, as someone with no friends or pets and one sibling, this little app keeps me lots of company and has a teaching component on how to care for another living being. I also LOVE that WatchPet offers features such as the meditation, napping, and walking features that allow you to do the activities with your pet and WatchPet documents your progress while you complete these activities. The napping feature even has an alarm clock! Over all WatchPet is a 5/5 and I would completely recommend it to ANYONE! WatchPet is easy and fun to use!

First off, the animations are super cute and cartoony. I would Imagine it being quite fun for people who done have pets. The things the pets say/think are funny enough to make you laugh, and playing with them is almost as much fun as playing with a real pet. There are not many ads, and you can view them straight from the Home Screen. Something that may make it more is if you had more rooms to play in. Including outside. And if you could customize the rooms that would also be awesome. I think it would be a good challenge for kids wanting responsibilities. Overall I think WatchPet is exactly as marketed and pretty fun too! 10/10 recommend. 🐕🐈🐈‍⬛🐩
