I think it would be helpful to list hashtags/book categories alphabetically. With young adult listed first, I’m immediately thinking you emphasize this. If you alphabetize, everything is easier to find and it doesn’t look like you specialize. I sell art books, signed first editions, and some rare books. Nice app, but it looks like it wouldn’t work for what I sell. Not a complaint at all, just an observation. Maybe you don’t want art books or first editions as categories. If you’re going for a specific market, that’s great. If you want PangoBooks to reach a general market, two things: would be good to add categories, kind of makes it look like development team doesn’t really know books. Food for thought.

I learned about PangoBooks through a Facebook add and decided to try it out of curiosity. Given the relatively low user base and the questionable nature of most FB adds, I was a bit skeptical and fully prepared to be scammed. I purchased a copy of Milton’s “Paradise Lost” for $1 (plus ~$4 of taxes and shipping), and was pleasantly surprised when the book arrived at my doorstep in fantastic condition. Obviously, not all buying experiences will go exactly as this one did, but I have confidence to buy from PangoBooks again after that transaction.
Technically, PangoBooks could use a few tweaks here and there to make the service a little more seamless. For instance, finding your purchases and accessing a tracking number takes some searching, even after I had done it a few times. Placing that option a little more prominently on the hot bar could help.
The forums are a great idea, but clicking off of them resets you to the top of the page, making scrolling to read more than the first few posts a bit frustrating.
Overall though, PangoBooks is one that I will continue to use in the future, and look forward to seeing many more people use it as well!

I’ve been using PangoBooks for about 6 months now and overall I really love it. It’s really easy to search for and purchase books and I’ve had really great experiences with almost all of my purchases. The one thing I don’t really like is that PangoBooks seems glitchy when loading my wishlist. I have an extensive wishlist (a few hundred books long at least) and whenever I try to scroll through it to clear out the books that have been sold so that I can whittle it down, it will show me my few most recent adds and then will rapidly flicker up some books are on my wish list while not actually letting them load and eventually only pulling up some of my oldest wishlist books. Ive noticed this only seems to be a problem in PangoBooks and not if you access this app in a browser but PangoBooks is what I use most frequently, and I would really like to be able to see my full wishlist in PangoBooks .

I love books, and I love selling books on other selling apps, so I figured this app was right for me! I was right, and it’s such a refreshing take on a selling app. The community of sellers seems fairly nice as well, it feels like a space for people who truly love books to share that love.

I will say PangoBooks doesn’t look as clean as others. Some issues that I have (that aren’t really issues, just things I’d like to see renovated) are:

- the way pictures are uploaded to listings. I’d like to add multiple at the same time
- the feed/shop dynamic seems too clunky, and it kinda overwhelms you.
- the feeds/shop reload even when you don’t want too. It just gets annoying after a while when you’re just scrolling to see what’s out there.
- the ability to add more “bookish” things- like stuff/merch that comes with book subscription boxes? I know these have a decent reselling market on other apps, it would be cool to add that to PangoBooks. But that would mean adding another option besides media mail.

But what I REALLY like is the shipping aspect. I love how it’s immediately media mail, and you can print labels from PangoBooks . I also like how if you do free shipping as a seller, it’s taken out of your earnings, so you don’t have to take it out of your own (in real life) pocket to buy a label.

So excited to sell more on this app!

I was looking for a new place to sell and buy books and a friend suggested PangoBooks to me. Love how easy it is to use and they provide shipping labels so you can package easily and quickly. Makes buying books easy too with your information ready to go when you want to buy. Only issue I have is getting funds transferred to my bank and the service fee. For each purchase they take 20% of purchase price which cuts in a lot, so be sure to price accordingly. And while I understand waiting for buyers to receive package before depositing funds, the transfer to bank option has been broken for months. So I have to wait weeks to have access to my money then can’t even transfer to bank and have to use PayPal and pay more fees to get my money. Not a big deal, but can be annoying at times. Overall, small issues, but be aware when using PangoBooks !

Really enjoy using PangoBooks to find books on my TBR! A couple suggestions from the user experience perspective. Allow me to search for multiple books at once. Perhaps have a ISO list we can add in PangoBooks and then show us relevant book sellers that have multiple of those books. If I select a book show me all the different options of other books that I could buy with it rather than limiting me to just that seller. Have more filtering options after clicking on a hashtag eg by super fast seller. Have tags on the book pictures that can be added for popular book clubs eg Reese’s book club or botm rather than just having the hashtag. If you provide me with an email I can send more suggestions as they come to me. Overall love PangoBooks though!!

Overall I love PangoBooks. It’s very easy to use and navigate. Listing books only takes a few seconds, which is a nice contrast to some other platforms out there. Linking your PayPal or bank account is also simple.

There are a few technical issues that can be frustrating. Sometimes buttons don’t work, and occasionally when I’m filling out information on the book I’m listing, the text will disappear and I’ll have to start over. These are minor inconveniences that I’m sure will be worked out over time. I also wish there was a way to see and edit your followers/following list or the lists of other users. If there is a way to do that, I haven’t noticed it.

I enjoy it overall and I’m happy I found it!

There are so many selections on PangoBooks and the community is just fantastic as they are also avid readers who understand your love for books. It’s also extremely easy to post books you want to sell though, it is a bit more difficult to be able to get that book to sell. The main reason being there are more sellers than there are buyers on PangoBooks currently. A lot of the people on PangoBooks are ones trying to get rid of books but they also buy from other sellers while there are only very few people who sign up to actually buy books. I actually feel the prices are very reasonable especially the shipping (compared to apps like Mercari). As a buyer and seller I really wished that I could split my earnings on different books unfortunately, PangoBooks only lets you use all your savings on the whole purchase when I just want to use some and save some money for a different purchase. Another thing is unfortunately if a buyer reviews their purchase you still have to wait three days til you get your earnings. I wish they’d take after Mercari where as the buyer is rating their package they can also confirm receiving their package so that sellers can instantly get paid.

I absolutely love PangoBooks to buy and sell books. However, a few things would really make PangoBooks perfect:
The ability to report a listing that isn’t a book;
The ability to “go back” when you are visiting someone’s shop, currently when you hit back, it takes you all the way back to your search; the ability to refresh at any point in the scrolling through your feed by hitting “feed”. Right now, if you scroll through the feed and leave PangoBooks for a bit, it will keep it stagnant so you’d have to continue where you left off or scroll all the way to the top to refresh and see the latest posts of price drops.
Otherwise, I really do enjoy it!

I have a very expensive hobby, reading. I have a hard time reading online due to vision issues and who doesn’t love a good physical book? During Covid, I ran into the issue of not being able to go to the library. PangoBooks solved all of those issues. The sellers are all very sweet and communicative. You can see when they have sent the book in and can sign up for updates. Most sellers are affordable and there is such a wide variety of books available. I like the way they sort the books, you can give them hashtags and it also sorts them by type so if I’m looking for a textbook for school, I can actually search by grade. Some sellers will negotiate and will bundle books to help you save on shipping. This is such a great community of book lovers and I highly recommend PangoBooks to everyone who enjoys reading physical books. Hope you decide to join this app!!!

I’m in love with PangoBooks. I struggled to find an easy place to sell my books until I was lucky enough to stumble upon an ad for this. Once your books sell just print out your label, box it up and drop it at the post. I’ve already sold several books I was looking to get rid of and the process is so easy with this app. It’s a fun app to shop from as well.

In the future I would love to see easier to view/more in depth seller ratings on their store page as opposed to just their listings. It’s a bit difficult to find the seller ratings if you don’t know where to look.

You can find wide ranges of books through this easy to use app. Wether it’s a textbooks or pleasure read or anywhere in between. It’s very user friendly and easy to navigate. I’ve bought books and sold books and the process is seamless. PangoBooks allows you to favorite books and add them to your wish list while also notifying you of price drops. I like the follow feature you can utilize to keep up with sellers that are selling books you’re interested in. I use PangoBooks every day, and it’s now part of my social routine!

I’ve been a buyer and a seller on this app since it’s beginning, and I absolutely love it! It’s a fantastic place to buy and sell books, both new and used! There’s a wide variety of genres and prices, and multiple ways to find your next read! The community is also really friendly and understanding. The fact that PangoBooks is comprised of individual sellers, all with a love of reading, really makes for a great atmosphere. I’ve added so many books to my shelf, often in new condition, for a really great price. Would definitely recommend to all book lovers!

I have had PangoBooks for about 2 weeks and have purchased some really great books from some great sellers at fantastic prices! PangoBooks is categorized well by genres and the tracking of purchases is good. I do wish you could purchase from multiple sellers at one time at checkout but each book ordered has its own shipping fee, unless you order multiple books from one seller. It is still my “Go To” app for books because the selection, prices, sellers and the condition of the books are amazing! Very pleased with PangoBooks and I’m Sooo glad I found it!

I absolutely love PangoBooks. I own hundreds of books and sometimes in order to make room for new books I have to get rid of other books. I’ve seen BST groups on Facebook but I never knew how much I should charge for shipping, and on the occasions where I wanted to purchase, I didn’t feel comfortable just sending money to a stranger and hoping that they’d sent me what I paid for. PangoBooks takes care of both of those issues for me. It’s super easy to list and sell books as well as purchase. I’d love it if eventually we could sell other book related items like the things that you get in book subscription boxes that you might not want to keep.

This is a neat little app! You can find great used books that are reasonably priced. You can also sell your own old books to make some extra coffee money. Buying is a bit like Etsy. If you buy from more than one person or shelf you pay a separate fee for shipping (as the sellers are shipping the books, not the company). I was skeptical at first- will this be a scammer haven? But I was out at ease when I saw that this app doesn’t pay the sellers until shipment is complete. I am happy to say I just got my first 3 books and had a wonderful experience with it! I look forward to selling my own dust collectors soon!!!

This is a really cool app! As someone who buys many books and never uses an e-reader, I love having a resource to purchase all the books I want in a more affordable way. Users of PangoBooks seem to be mostly other readers who keep their books in nice condition. They also list books at very fair prices, unlike eBay. I just hope these things stay as they are after more users hop on. I have a stack of books I’d like to sell so I’ll be trying out the selling feature soon.
I do wish there were more search filters and sorting options, and more info on the condition of the books but we are still off to a great start.

The amount of books I buy is insane. Which means i am constantly going through my books trying to make room for new one. PangoBooks makes it easy to do that. It’s easy to use/ navigate and the shipping prices are also great! Every other app I’ve used in the past seems to charge way more for the shipping than the actual cost of the book. Making it not worth it sometimes for the buyer nor the seller. If your a buyer of books and want a good deal, or heck if you just went a little crazy and bought every book you came across for a year straight & need to get rid of some (Me lol) then PangoBooks is for you!

I joined this app in March of this year, and so far, I have enjoyed the dynamic of PangoBooks . I mainly sell books rather than buy them, so it's nice to see others interact with your page and books. The selling process is very simple and something I look forward to. this app has become one of my favorite apps. The books are at a great price, and I love how easy it is to communicate with a buyer and seller. In the point of view of a seller, PangoBooks is accommodating and reasonable and very user friendly. Putting books in my store and seeing how others have enjoyed them is a great reward. I’m glad I found PangoBooks and I hope others are enjoying it as well!

This is a great app for buying books. The process is easy and the prices tend to be cheaper than elsewhere. Sometimes they don’t have any copies of the book I’m looking for, but that’s going to be the case for any new marketplace that’s still growing. I do have a few suggested improvements, however.
-Being able to search by ISBN would make finding a book much easier.
-Being able to click on a picture to make it bigger and be able to zoom in for more detailed photos.
-Being able to leave/receive buyer feedback. This would allow first time sellers to have a rating and appear more trustworthy to buy from.

this app actively encourages censorship. Support your local second-hand bookstore instead.

I found PangoBooks very frustrating to use. It’s not at all user friendly, the tracking is horrible, and you can only get your funds if you have a PayPal account.

I have been scammed to the tune of 905.00 through here and had never heard of this site! First the person ordered a book then when I checked on it, I was told it was probably an accident, not to worry! Does anyone know what I can do, if anything?

I have been trying to sell books. It keeps telling me to verify my email. I have done this already and it shows it verified but still won't let me do anything. H E L P please
