Not great for reading in the app

Was hoping for an app that would store everything in it and not send it to other places.
It kind of does that but not in a good way.
Every time you want to read a book in the app an ad pops up. Then I tested if it keeps it’s spot if you leave and no it doesn’t, the next time you go back to your book you have to wait again for an ad then scroll down and find your original spot.
You can copy text in it but would be useful to highlight or make bookmarks in it.
It’s also inconvenient to have to click on more options each time you go in the book to read it.
I’ll just keep downloading free books and read on my iPhone or just send everything to Kindle for now and read it there.
Maybe have an IAP to stop ads completely.
