For the investment we put into solar, SMilesEnduser is 100% unusable. Please fix this.
Please please update SMilesEnduser to make it more modern. It’s so lame and dated. Can’t believe I spent all this money for solar and it doesn’t always connect. Plus the interface isn’t very good at all.
SMilesEnduser just doesn’t provide much useful data. There is no way to see historical daily/monthly/yearly energy (kWh) production. You can only see the current day total kWh production, the next day you lose that. You can se historical power graphs that don’t give you any aggregate info. I would like to get the option to see total kWh produced daily/weekly/monthly etc, is the most importante metric.
SMilesEnduser is in dire need of a much more modern user interface. The information it gives you is bare bones. The data you get is only updated every 15 minutes. I don’t know if this is a hardware limitation or just bad software on the apps part, but it needs to update a lot more frequently. There’s a lot more information it should show you but either doesn’t, or it’s very vague. For example, it should show you how much energy you’re using from the grid vs how much you’re using from solar, as well as how much solar is going back into the grid. On the main screen with the house, you can’t tap on anything to see more information about it within that same screen. Everything is buried in extra menus at the bottom, that when you get to it, still doesn’t show you want you want to know at a glance, like the production graph menu. Clicking on each individual bar in the graph just to see the numbers is a bit ridiculous.
Also, a major issue I'm having is that almost every day, around the same time, it stops reporting, and shows I’m not producing anything. I have to unplug the receiver and plug it back in to get it going again.
I’ve recently had to buy a “Sense Home Energy Monitor” that monitors my electricity usage as well as my solar production, and that shows everything SMilesEnduser should and more, because it’s actually reporting live data all the time. I can’t really rely on SMilesEnduser much anymore. The only thing that makes it still somewhat usable is the fact I can check to see how each individual panel is functioning and that they are working.
I’ve downloaded SMilesEnduser but can’t open it because it states I have a proxy network which I don’t. So frustrating.
SMilesEnduser is awful plain I have to take it of my iPad and reinstall it two to three time just a day just to be able to monitor my solar. Don’t recommend.
SMilesEnduser does not read in real-time! My installer’s did not lable my panels in sny order that follows anything on SMilesEnduser or the paperwork I received, I have snow on my panels snd figured I would try to figure out what panel is what according to SMilesEnduser , as I uncover one by one, im lucky to see a change after about an hour from the cloud, as for logging in locally, I was never provided a login or password for the DTU-Pro. This ehole system is a joke!!!
Only shows what you’re producing every 15 minutes or so. Kind of useless if I can’t see what I’m making currently. It needs to show what I’m pulling from solar vs what I’m pulling from grid. With how much I paid for my system, SMilesEnduser needs to be way better.
Hello, it’s always in a loading mode. It shows on one day and the next so many days it keeps showing loading, doesn’t fresh at all. It’s so difficult to follow it. I just don’t understand why it can’t be fixed when so many users use it.
As of January 1 I lost all ability to access my data and have not been able to recover it!SMilesEnduser Store does not give me an option to even update SMilesEnduser . Very frustrating!I noticed that I couldn’t even send in a Review until I tapped at least a two star rating. That’s really bogus!
The device they provide does not stay connected to the internet so I can never see what kind of power is being provided when I try to check
Every time I refresh SMilesEnduser, I have to hit the login button twice. It’s getting to the point that I don’t even want to check my usage because of how many things I have to reset every time I look at SMilesEnduser . Why can’t I set my “production” area to remember my choice of monthly data? The latest update changed that. Becoming less and less user friendly. PLEASE FIX IT!
My DTU worked reasonably well for just over a year. Stopped communicating through the WiFi and repeated attempts to reset failed. A new DTU WAS PEOVIDED and installed, it seemed to to well hard wired to the router.
For about 3 hours and is now offline again.
Its been f’ed up over 2 months now and I can’t track or check production at all. System appears to be working but I can’t see it or verify any of it.
SMilesEnduser quit showing me data 3 weeks ago and the installer cannot find any answers after switching out some equipment. App is very basic and doesn’t show very much information. Other apps I have seen, from friends with panels, have more information.
Doesn’t refresh on its own, and with the last update it locked me out! Can’t sign in at all
It wasn’t working at first because who ever set it up had the serial number reversed on one of the numbers. Now it works fine and it has them coming out to see why one of my modules is only halve the output of the rest. Good for maintaining max efficiency.
Works good except that many times when I go to refresh the main page it just sits there “loading” and doesn’t quit until I restart my phone. Extremely annoying.
SMilesEnduser seems to get better and better. Please consider supporting Celsius and Fahrenheit instead of just Celsius. Thank you.
Yes! We are up and running! This is so exciting! The people we have worked with on this project have all been very professional. Every one of them followed the “Be Nice” motto and seemed to know their jobs very well. When we had questions… the sales rep came back to our home to go over things again. We got a ground unit and they even bored the wiring under our cement driveway. Many thanks to Jonathan and all who were involved in finalizing everything. 😊 👏

SMilesEnduser works very well and provides a lot of data if you know how to use it correctly. The support line is really great for troubleshooting connection issues and recommending when it is time to call your installer.
