The instructions are simple but the measuring is inaccurate, it says to use TheRingSizeApp 3-5 times to get an accurate measurement but never once did it actually give me an accurate ring measurement ( I know my ring size from going to a jewelers). Its a good idea but just not accurate.

Saw a TikTok about TheRingSizeApp so I decided to give it a go. I followed all of the directions correctly and tried multiple times to test the accuracy of TheRingSizeApp. I used my middle finger, which I already know is a size six. Every time TheRingSizeApp told me my finger was a size ten.
Also- I don’t like that you must enter personal information before receiving your ring size. It’s a great app idea, but it seems to me that TheRingSizeApp is not worth downloading. It’s much easier to go to a store and get your ring size tested, using a measuring tape, etc.

Since I stumbled across the tik tok video of TheRingSizeApp I wanted to give it a try. Very hard to find unless you type "hitched ring sizer" because all of the dating apps come up. Anyways, my actual ring size is a 7.5 and sometimes an 8, although I followed the directions as TheRingSizeApp said, I am a size "6." Please do not listen to this if you are actually using it to buy a ring online. There is websites that will send you a legit sizer for free in the mail!

Inaccurate and requires unnecessary information.
I already know my ring size but wanted to try TheRingSizeApp to see what's up. I tried multiple times, closely following the instructions but it kept giving me inaccurate measurements. Once you measure your finger, TheRingSizeApp *refuses* to give you your ring size until you give them your first and last name, email (and/or phone number), and wedding date. Why do they need ANY of that info?! Would rate zero or negative stars if possible.

I'll be honest, it doesn't seem to work for me. It also bothers be about how they asked for me email and first/last name. I've tried TheRingSizeApp on multiple devices but none of them are accurate.
Overall, TheRingSizeApp is a great idea and I can see how it would work for many people. But, it's not correct. It looks like TheRingSizeApp was made for a specific phone size, and obviously, not everyone has that phone.

It was easy to use but very inaccurate. I did it 4 times like TheRingSizeApp said, with my eye closed. It was wrong. Had my bf do it twice and it was wrong again. It kept saying the same ring size and then even gave me an error message. To get my results it made me put in personal information.... why. Don’t recommend TheRingSizeApp unless it has some major reorganizing.

The idea of TheRingSizeApp is really cool and smart.
The problem is when done fiting it to my finger it would be loading then take me out of TheRingSizeApp . I tried a few more times before getting really annoyed and deleting TheRingSizeApp .
I’m really sad it didn’t work I was such a good idea and really useful

I got TheRingSizeApp because of tiktok TheRingSizeApp is pretty accurate I tried my ring finger as I knew the size already and it said 7.5 which it was but when I tried my middle finger which I knew the size of it was inaccurate although the extra info it needs like email and full name is a little excessive

TheRingSizeApp works FABULOUSLY when used correctly. I got an accurate reading of my ring finger three times in a row!!!! The negative reviews are most likely due to the fact that many users adjust the white guidelines as TIGHTLY to their finger as possible, when in reality, you should only be accounting for how tightly you want the ring to sit on your finger. Remember to close one eye and look downward at your finger straight on, and imagine how much space you’d like in between your knuckle and the ring for it to fit properly. When this is done, the measurements are insanely accurate. I give TheRingSizeApp four stars only because of user faulty, because I believe some more in-depth instructions or perhaps an in-app tutorial video would GREATLY improve user experience and insure more accurate readings in the future. But as for me, it worked like a charm and I wish more people experienced TheRingSizeApp as well as I did. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

if you do as TheRingSizeApp tells you to, it’s totally accurate! i already knew my ring size, but wanted to test its accuracy so i could leave a review. so long as you do it multiple times (as TheRingSizeApp instructs), you should find a good ring size! even if it isn’t the exact ring size, it definitely gives you an idea. i’m a 7.5 (odd, i know. just depends on the ring), and it gave me a seven, and three eights :)
my only problem with it is that it requires you put in your first name, last name, email, and wedding date before you can get your ring size??? odd, but you only have to enter it once.

Honestly i’ve seen way too many issues with people saying it didn’t work, i followed the exact directions and it worked just fine. You have to be precise and really focus your eye. Got my ring size right on the nail

Seems like some people didn’t follow the instructions. I am already married and wear a size 4. I tested TheRingSizeApp for accuracy, closely following the instructions and it was spot on! I repeated it a few times and TheRingSizeApp nailed my size within a half size every time. This will be very helpful to a lot of people for engagement ring and wedding band shopping!
