Pirate Ships Build and Fight Reviews

Your skill based match making is all out of wack it’s a good game but some fight and some people you shouldn’t be up against and it gets annoying I’m uninstalling for now maybe later in the future they’ll fix it

Here’s another very expensive game to play.
After spending almost $50, I’m stuck because I’m having a hard time winning any battles.
If that was not bad enough, the game has flaws where while the battle is going of, it has static and it freezes. When that happens, the battle is lost automatically. Sometimes you have to shut it down and restart. Additionally, there is not enough tutorial material to teach you which troops are better. Some troops seem worthless.

This game allowed for accidental deletion of your expensive ships

The game is decently fun and all but the monetization is predatory, the first “premium ship you can unlock is 5 dollars at the start of the game and the next you’re able to unlock is 25 dollars being that there is 2 or 3 after that I can only imagine how they ramp up in price. The upgrades and items in the store are shockingly expensive and progression is a crawl without spending money.

Very shortly into the game you are being overpowered by NPCs. Doesn’t seem to matter what combination of your units you use, even the exact setup as the enemy you are fighting - you’re just not as strong

Got stuck in an infinite loading screen when attempting to start the game for the first time. Uninstalled and tried again. Same outcome. Wonderful game.

Fun at first until you realize the game is rigged. When you figure that out then congrats.

Watch ads every few battles, then another ad pops up in shop, u lost a battle? Watch an add. Did i win a battle? Watch ads to get all rewards… about to uninstall

Edit 2/18/25: the recent, non-communicated, update to take ship gear out of the event shops is concerning since it will affect new players and free to play players adversely, also that it happened without any communication is concerning given that so far communication has been great. Minus two stars, and I’m still going to play, but hopefully gear comes back. Definitely less interested in playing now though. Russian chat is already dead, please don’t kill the game off dev

2/15/25: This game is great! One of the few competitive games I’ve played that truly isn’t P2W. That’s not to say spending doesn’t get you an advantage, of course it does, but very soon it becomes cost prohibitive unless you’ve got obscene pockets. And even then it’s still a marathon to the top, not a sprint. The dev team is also very active and responsive on the Discord which I’m happy to see. Clans are coming once the campaign is finished and I’m excited to see where the game goes! Even with the campaign not being fully done (just the last chapter) it’ll take you awhile to get there anyways and there’s plenty to keep you busy. Give the game a shot!

I noticed when I was in the campaign mission board. The mission board was moving to my camera movements, but in the settings, there’s no permission to take away that feature or curse, depending on what it’s used for otherwise so to people downloading PirateShipsBuildandFight just know your privacy might be being leaked.

Let’s start by yes graphics are great and sound is good. Now tell me how you can pair a small SHIP WITH A LARGE SHIP to battle. DUH ofcourse they’ll lose . Another why is it COINCIDENTALLY a higher power player goes up against me right when I’m about to hit 5 star chest…. It is for this reason I’m no longer playing you PURPOSELY make players lose

Battle stopped and stuck in the middle. For fighters battle cannot finish once stuck.

Needs more content. also audio bugs. Very much enjoying with the a few things here and there. Haven’t encountered anything “game breaking”.

I had left a previous negative review. The developer finally stepped up to the plate after almost 6 months. The game now runs much smoother. The quality of life updates are amazing. The game continues to improve. Kudos.

I love this game; you get to build your own ship, upgrade your ship, also upgrade your armaments or weapons, and your crew… I hope they put at least 10 more upgrades for armaments and weapons and crew… for a total of 20 upgrades or more if you are at it!. I have spend-about 400 U.S dollars on this game, and I don’t mind spending 400 more!. I have played this game for about a 1 and a half month now, and I am going to keep on playing Pirates Ships: Build and Fight!. For future upgrades on your armaments and weapons I would like to recommend to add for example more less weight to your heaviest weapons and armaments… even some troops weight to much to put in the line of fire on your ship: for example the the skeleton cannon weights 800 pounds and you cannot reduce its weight by upgrading it!. I would like to see more ships; like a ship that can resurrect your army as skeletons and have on the same time the power to throw lighting’s strike at your enemies!. This improving things can add more flavor and attract the attention of more players to play the game!. Oh and Producers and Creators of the game can you please add a something that you can pay so you take the commercials off… please… because I am tired of watching long commercials or ads… at least choose commercials that are not to long from the right companies!. If you are going to removed the ads… can you do it permanently please… I would pay 100 dollars to removed them permanently!. Oh and Game Developers can you add more green diamonds to the regular and rare chest… around 30 to 40 diamonds in total for each chest!. Oh one thing I noticed is that the sound of the game goes alway sometimes … not only for the game , but also for the ads or commercials… can you please fix that!. Something that I noticed is that sometimes the you don’t have full supplies or money in your Fort the next day… that needs to be fixed… I need my supplies and money… please fix that as Soon as Possible!. Producers, Directors, and Game Developers can you please add the feature where you can buy all types of ships for some money for cheap for real money…like give a option to get one of the best ships 2 times a month… like in different weeks at a time!. It’s really hard to get some of the best ships through green diamonds or through regular in game gold coins; so that’s why I suggested about buying the best ships or all ships with real money!. I Like to Give This Recommendation to Game Developers: can you add a feature in which you pick your favorite upgrades for your favorite captain, crew, ship, and armaments… it would be A lot Easier to Get the Right Upgrades This Way!. Can you Guys change the way you buy ships, I will explain: Can you Guys make it so you can Buy ships with green diamonds or gold coins, not just once with green diamonds…but all the time… as many times as you like?! Thank you so much for your time in reading all of this big Recommendations I put all here and tell me what you think about what I said!. Again, I am really Hoping the Game Developers, Producers, and Directors to Take Alway the ads, even if is every month the we need to pay money to you guys; Please do this with Haste because I can’t wait for no more ads!. I Upgraded the Last of the Forts to the max… I would like to see the you can sell your Wood Supply for a reasonable amount of gold… because right now I don’t know what to do with all the Wood Supply, or please add Some More New Forts which is needed I think for those that have Play This Game A lot!. Could use a chat with other players thing and would be cool with alliances
