After purchasing lifetime, I discover that only 20 images can be added at a time. Even then it took forever and believe the program just froze up. Asking for a refund. Btw….. no response from the dev when contacted. Oh, and if your going to use Telegram for contact, you should at least respond, since the other person can see when your using Converter and read their message. Deleted and got a refund from Apple.

It won’t let me play videos if I swipe across the screen then it goes through it but has no options to play the video and it won’t let me save the videos either

I just paid $20 to set up my account, and Converter glitched and didn't allow me to confirm my password. I close out and restart, only to find my progress in account creation to be gone. I delete Converter and re download it, and it wants me to pay $20 again. I couldn't even get to the vault.

Without the following Converter is near useless to me:

I am disappointed that I grabbed the lifetime unlock as this practically unusable for my workflow.

Converter was working PHENOMENAL. Then it seems a update happened now I CAN NOT access my photos. The log in screen is different and everything. I am so disappointed. I lost lots of footage!

You can only use Converter to put three photos unless you pay 15 dollars, which is probably fair but for someone looking to use it casually, is way to much. Lifetime subscription is a good idea but there should be options for how much you pay and how much you can use.

Have some issues that could be addressed. On the iPhone, while you are inside Converter watching a picture and decide to scroll from the bottom to the center of the screen like to switch apps or show the previous opened apps, the previous pictures shows blurred. The shape and colors of that picture can be seen blurred, like you don’t know what it is but can have close guesses. If you decide to just go back to Converter instead of switching apps it takes you right back in without asking for a password. Doesn’t have the option to export it as an email, or to any platform without saving it to your camera roll first. I’m

The best in the market the only major issue is. You can only upload 20 at a time. This makes it practically useless if you are transferring large amount of files, photos, videos etc. I would never use any other photo vault app if it wasn’t for that horrific problem. Everything else is working splendidly. Hopefully they will change this so I don’t have to resort to these other terrible apps.

I’m able to use Converter as intended with photos but I’m not able to recover videos that I have loaded into Converter :-/. I’ve tried to contact the developer but you’re required to download more apps to do so. Seems cumbersome.

everything about Converter is great. Except one very simple and minor thing. First off, IT IS COMPLETELY WORTH IT!!! ESPECIALLY FOR A ONE TIME PAYMENT OF $15! One of the bes app purchases ive made for sure. It works as and looks like an actual currency this app. Everything is seamless until you put in your passcode into the “this app” which unlocks all of your photos and videos, etc. Converter icon and name are also perfect, labeled, this app and u can change the icon. when you open Converter everything is perfect and you can sort it into different albums and it’s all saved cloud, so incase you drop your phone into a 432ft lake and after 7days of searching end up finding nothing but a broken ali express drone, you can still get your data! which is absolutely perfect! The only thing that would need fixing is when you transfer to Converter you can only do 20 at a time. So if you need to transfer things quickly or a large amount, it would take forever. I wanted to transfer about 2000 images and videos,it would’ve ended up taking so long that I just didn’t do it and instead used the apples hidden album. and if you need to transfer an entire album from your photos, there is no select album option which will take everything out of the single album and put it into the hidden this app. Which would be very helpful. Other than these two things, Converter is absolutely perfect and worth it. I hope the creators are able to update this. HIGHLY recommend.

i’ve downloaded and paid for apps like this before; the one i used previously was abandoned by the developer and so i cant use it anymore with the new updates apple is rolling out. had to find a new one. i havent found one as good as the old picture vault i had. this is the only close one i found that do not require subscription. Converter is good but like other reviewers said, it cannot import video files - i dont keep video files so that didnt matter to me. Converter i thought was 5 starts until today when i mistakenly imported a picture i didnt want saved in Converter and found out that there is no way to delete it. HOW DO YOU DELETE A PICTURE IN Converter ???? this is a major flaw and could be a deal breaker. make deleting files a feature please. like asap.

I like Converter said part you forget your password your screwed it deletes everything

Would be 10/10 if you add setting to change passcodes, leave photos added cropped instead of reverting back to original, and made overall experience smoother. Often I have to click multiple times to get to where I need to go. Not to even mention clicks are followed by slight delay. Feels buggy.

I really like Converter it looks good and runs smoothly but it’s kind of annoying that I can only add up to 20 videos at a time I was wondering if there is a fix for this soon or will it have to stay this way?

The developer is super responsive which I am really happy about. This is a great app so far, however looks like there’s a bug with video uploads. The sound doesn’t play when viewing videos from Converter which isn’t a huge problem since the video can be added back to the phone via the save feature and viewed.

It's shocking how bad privacy apps for actual privacy. Pay the money, and we'll save your files on our server and no one will see them, except all of our devs, interns, employees etc etc oh and remember the safe part? Kudos for Dmitry for making Converter which actually does the encryption transparently

Perfect good for when you download or screen record something and u don't want anyone to see it in ur gallery u can just put it here! and it has passwords which makes it super private

Converter is great and so is the security on it but the only thing I have something to say about is the encryption process, it takes forever unless i only select 5 but besides that it’s amazing and so is the 1 lifetime payment

Super fast it’s extremely fast, takes some time to encrypt photos, but once it’s done Converter is extremely fast, photos and videos loads immediately and Converter never lags

Converter gives you a great sense of security since it makes your personal photos truly personal. Even if they're backed up to your iCloud, you will still need the pin to see them.

That simple makes all the difference. Between most of the apps merely hiding your files, which are still easily accessible. This one encrypts them for real, rare find!

Excellent. I would just like to tweak the feature tho the absence of these does not weaken my choice to use Converter. Converter needs to preserve date of initial photos when they were taken so that it wont be lost after transferring.

I can't wait for the share option, my hubby and I can share spicy pics discreetly.

At first, I wasn’t sure about this photo vault, but I’m so glad I gave it a shot. It runs perfectly, gets regular updates, and the developer is super responsive. Couldn’t ask for more!

I like Converter's approach because it is very simple and at the same time even funny to see your most precious and private photos are hidden behind a currency this app.

Converter is pretty good, but I’d love to see some improvements, like adding a “sort by” feature for photos. It would make navigating through my collection so much easier.

It's basic but exactly what I'm looking for. A place where I can keep a few photos I don't want others to stumble upon or my children to see. Once the photos are in Converter they are gone from my camera roll. Ive made a few folders to organize and I like that it keeps documents safe too.

I don’t mean to give this a low rating, just to alert the developer that some sort of glitch made it impossible for me to get past the purchase screen up front. I just want to take a look as I’m trying to decide what to use and this seemed the most streamlined, efficient, and inexpensive overall. General info—most recent iPad, most recent Operating system. Something may be wrong with the responsive content settings overlapping the dot menu at the bottom of the screen.

Finally Converter which stores encrypted files transparently on your own iCloud. Most of the apps in the AppStore either “hide” or “stores securely” without explaining what does it exactly mean. Compared to this one which hides with working currency this app, but at the same encrypt files for real

I was looking for an affordable app to store photos of my driver license, passport, and insurance. Which would cause some issue if it ever leaked to the internet, but not enough to pay a subscription each month. Glad I’ve finally found this one, cheap, works exactly as you expect and stores files on my iCloud.

This is so nice and easy way to have a decoy app, as my kids use my phone from time to time. I really appreciate the one off cost too, subscriptions are taking over Converter Store. Being a one off cost and the ease of Converter makes an easy 5 star review. Developer quick responses also have been greatly appreciated!!

The rare kind of Converter focused on one thing and works perfectly smooth while being extremely affordable. I’m not privacy freak by any means and paying subscription for an app which I use occasionally doesn’t make sense, it’s great to see a real alternative to mainstream apps!

I stumbled upon Converter while searching for a subscription-free photo vault and it’s the only one I’ve found with lifetime license option. Also album sorting would be good, choosing which albums are at the top and which ones are at the bottom would fix a lot of scrolling

As someone who's tired of subscription-based apps, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this one. It's incredibly affordable, and the developer actively updates it. My only request is the option to create sub-albums. Hats off to the developer!

Converter is very easy to use, has great features and the developer keeps it updated frequently, always polishing it, adding new features and getting better with every update. Developer support is AWESOME. I recommend it 100%.

I don't want to risk others seeing if I show them my phone. importing is ridiculously easy & fast, the pics are then automatically removed from your gallery & into app. a security feature is, it's not possible to leave Converter open. any time you switch screens, you must log in again. I've had nothing but a great experience with it.
