This game has loot boxes, multiple in-game currencies, a daily login reward, in-game purchases, ads, an energy bar to where you can only play so much without either waiting, paying, or watching an ad. You can watch an ad to get a small amount of a certain currency. You can watch an ad to continue if you have a game over (which is really lame if you ask me, it’s either game over or not, right?) They ask if you want to pay $4.99 frequently to buy random stuff. There’s a store with rotating out deals.
But the gameplay itself is okay. Unfortunately all of the above makes this a game I wouldn’t play longer than a few hours. I’d rather go play the real Doom and have a solid gaming experience without the addition of all the above marketing schemes.

I played both games, archero and mighty doom, to see the similarities and differences since everyone was saying mighty doom ripped off archero.
The only two differences i could find between the two games is that 1. in archero you have to stand still to shoot and 2. The enemies in the two games are different. Besides that, it’s the exact same thing….
This game is just a big whole hunk of evil corporate greed, and I hate it
They wanted us to get hyped for this piece of crap to try and cover up the way they treated Mick Gordon and that whole situation, while also being a cash cow. It’s truly insulting how they think doom fans will consume anything with the brand name on it, even if it’s a piece of garbage.

This game is really not that great. You take away
doom skin and it falls apart very quickly. And the main glaring issue is that if you run out of “energy” tokens, you literally have to pay money to play the game. Like nah, I’ll just put my phone down do something else and forget all about playing it again because I like most people have a short attention span. Pretty dumb idea to make me stop playing your game, but whatever. The bosses are super boring and repetitive, not to mention they're the same enemies you fight every level, just literally a bigger version, nothing different they're just a larger version of the same characters you fight every level. The bosses themselves are pretty difficult, not in a fun way but rather in a impossible and money grubbing way, because guess what? if you die fighting the super hard boss, (you will) you can pay to keep going! And huge one for me, is how toned down the gore and violence is. They obviously want to appeal to a broader audience and toned it down enough that kids can play, which in my opinion is very anti doom and not at all why id play this type of game. There no guts, no glory, just big red glitchy splotches. All in all super meh, has a ton of potential that I highly doubt will ever be reached because money.
