Booked my appointment to change my previous state driver’s license to a Texas one. Three major issues:
1.) Sent me to the wrong address, in Texas there’s the DMV and the Department of public safety (the public safety office is where you get your renewed license). this app sent me to the public safety office and called it the DVM. These two offices do NOT work with each other interchangeably.
2.) You have to get and vehicle inspection and Texas vehicle registration BEFORE you can obtain a Texas driver’s license. this app made absolutely no mention of how to prepare or the prerequisites to getting the license.
3.) When I checked for my appointment details there was only information for somebody totally different at a totally different date!
All in all, poor communication, no helpful tips, totally incorrect information makes for a poor service.

Terrible service. I specifically asked for a date of a road test that was the only day I could take off work, and I was told this was noted. I the received a booking confirmation with no further communication, such as asking if another time, DMV, or date would be acceptable, so I assumed it had been set up as requested. Today I woke up at 5am to get to the road test site on time, the waited in line for 4 hours, only to be told at the front of the line 4 hours later that I was not on the list for day and thus could not take the test. Despite several chats I have heard nothing back since. Do not recommend.

It has been three days waiting for them to make an appointment for DMV, for driver license replacement. I visited yesterday in person and finished in hour and a half.
Waste of time an money. Government sites should not allow such apps to run their services.
Unfortunately this was the only way to get trough for an appointment.

Not easy to navigate filled with information you can just find on Google. Their team is unresponsive and unhelpful, I paid for the premium option and never received any one on one help for anything. Very disappointed that anyone would set up a company, take payments, under the guise of helping people and not follow through.

This is awful. I used it for my driving test concierge. They didn’t give me details until the day before even when I had sent numerous e mails. The phone doesn’t answer, you can only leave a message. The concierge turned up in a car that would have failed the exam and 45 minutes late. Please use another service.

Skip is easy to navigate to the different areas and has up to date information on many government programs and opportunities for small business. I use Skip for myself and have also used it to find information for my clients. It’s a quick and easy way to get information on government services and where to go for those services.

If there is anything going on with the SBA and or Government grants and or my DMV status I only trust this app as a third party representative to bring me the most accurate and up to date information. this app and co are actually for the people and are honest and are only concerned with there followers.

Skips new app not only looks great but works great too. As an early user I expected a few bugs but honestly it works great. Logged in and could see my past services, my road test service and stimulus tracking. Blog posts are very helpful and if they update daily it’s likely I’ll be checking Skip all the time.

I love Skip! The take the time to collect data and research all the information (SBA Loan Programs, Grants, etc) so that I can focus on running my businesses! Then when I do find time I can go to my this app App and go right to the pertinent information that I need. The savings in time alone is golden!

Don’t put your banking info in. It’s a scam I can’t even log on and there’s no legitimate info on creating a log in to access your so called dashboard. It’s fake and I’m calling the police of my money get you shed without consent
The fact that this review was written and posted by YoGovernment, a company that either works with or owns Hello Skip, is such a red flag already. First of all it’s NOT easy to cancel this shitty service, so lets get that right. I booked for a road test concierge through Skip and that was a HUGE mistake. It signed me up for their annual PAID subscription when I booked, which i suppose is my bad for not reading carefully enough. Totally fine, mistakes happen, I go to cancel the subscription. I can’t find ANY way to do that on the site so after plenty of googling, I find their Terms Of Use and the link to unsubscribe there. I read it carefully, i have SCREENSHOTS of the TOS statement; no where did it say that cancelling the yearly membership would cancel my appointment. I even checked in the booked services tab to confirm, my appointment was still there and all good. Fast forward 2 weeks, day of my appointment, and THATS WHEN I FIND OUT IT WAS CANCELLED. I had no idea because 1) never got any email or contact about it 2) THEY KEPT THE MONEY FOR IT. If I’d gotten some random refund I would have known immediately that something was amiss. I only found out because I contacted the driver directly with the phone number they provided. In their email response to me, they claim the driver cancelled due to emergency but happily offered to reschedule me~~~ but my driver stated that not only was there nothing booked today, but she hadn’t been notified about a potential appointment at all. So they failed to schedule me, blamed it on an employee who had no knowledge and STILL HAVEN’T REFUNDED ME. The second the conversation shifted from “we can reschedule you!!!” to “i don’t want to be rescheduled I want a REFUND” i got RADIO SILENCE. NO RESPONSE. I’m still waiting!! And while I wait I will be leaving this review every where i can, so please do take your time Skip. I’m telling you now, this service is a scam in the very literal sense, please do not trust them with your money.
We hired a concierge from Hello Skip to take our son for his driver's test on the day of his 17th birthday at 8am. He received a call the night before around 7 saying there was an emergency and they could not make the appointment. Being that it was so last minute we were not able to get anyone to take him for his test that had a brake in the car so needless to say he was extremely disappointed. All Hello Skip could offer was an apology and a refund, which I was obviously due back. I was extremely disappointed with their service and the inability to even speak with anyone on the phone. We were terribly disappointed with the lack of service and would never recommend them to anyone.
Helloskip did a debit on my card for $59.00, All I did was trying to make an appointment with DMV. I do not want to be a member of this fake organization, but it was too late to back track. I'm 73 years old on a fix income, I need to get more important things. Help me to get these guys to refund my 59 back. Aloha
