Sno-Isle Libraries Reviews

SnoIsleLibraries boots up quickly, so it is faster. However, Overdrive gives more details about a book. My first search for a book gave me videos to stream. Most of what was recommended for me was geared to pre-school and school age children, which is fine because it is September but I was hoping for a more intuitive app based on what I have borrowed over the last 10 years. Predictive spelling/text for searching a book is OK, but, again Overdrive is much more robust. There are no recommendations based on my previous borrowing history or categories I have read from recently. I’m sure Sno-Isle Libraries are hoping to get an app up and running that will replace OverDrive and the costs associated with it but I’m wondering if there will be much savings as many, many hours will be required, maybe many years, before SnoIsleLibraries is any competition to OverDrive.
