Ok I was so excited when I saw a advertisement for chargingplay I instantly downloaded it. But when I first got on chargingplay the first thing it did was ask me to review it, which was pretty sckechy right off the bat. There is a premium but I don’t think it really dose anything different then take my money. But the worst part is that I thought the charging display (the whole part of chargingplay ) that is advertised on the apps page on this platform DIDNT EVEN WORK!!!! The only time it displayed is when YOU WHERE ON chargingplay ! ( it didn’t even display on my legit Lock Screen )!!!!!!😡🤬🙄😬😑not impressed

It’s a great app, does absolutely everything i want it too, it’s just i have an iphone xs, when ads pop up the “x” or cancel button is right underneath my time, i can’t click the cancel button, i don’t mind the ads but now it’s just i cant even use chargingplay anymore. that’s probably the point, to make us buy the no ads thing but i don’t want too. why can’t i just enjoy chargingplay without ads ugh i hate it here! 😭💔 i just want to enjoy my charging animation ugh, now i have to find a new app!!

The function of chargingplay is fine for me. It does what it’s supposed to do, which is play my selected video when I plug in my phone. However, if you don’t pay for removal of ads, in order to unlock a personalized animation or wallpaper, you have to watch an ad. I wouldn’t mind this if it actually worked. I’ve watched at least 10 ads, and the x on the ads is fake. I can’t exit out of the ad to unlock my animation. I had to fiddle with it for 15 minutes to finally get the video I wanted.

I have a iPhone XR and because of this my phone is built differently compared to other phones I've been unable to select my charging animation because of the X button placement it’s locate all the way on the top left corner of the screen and when I go to close it the Lock Screen menu pops up! Making it impossible to close the add so I’m begging you please fix this issue Mac the ads a 1080px by 1080px and center the square then put the x on the top right of the square this will make it reachable for all phones that have the ability to use chargingplay in the first place. If you can’t control the ad system plz do smaller display adds on your app it’s the same thing but not a pop up please and thank you.

They don’t really have a selection of animations or pictures to choose from. Wanted to use one of mine own, and couldn’t because of the ads. You either have to pay for them to be removed, or watch an ad. When you do watch one, you can’t close it after it’s over since it’s at the far top left corner. Tried to do it multiple times, but still couldn’t use it. Fix your app so people can use it.

This is great and it does what it’s intended for. However, and a big however, when you want to change it you have to watch an ad. But to exit the ad after you watch it, the x is impossible to click I’ve tried 3 times. I tried restarting chargingplay but it makes me watch another ad. Please fix this. It’s crap and I will delete if it’s not fixed soon.

I mean like sure the apps ok and all but i was kinda expecting more than this (goes to show u that ucant raise ur hopes up on silly things)thought it would come on as soon as i plugged it in but u have to turn chargingplay on first:( also i kinda wish it gave me more choices on the animation well the good thing is i only have to watch a vid to get and dont have to pay (thumbs up on that) all in all i just kinda wish u had more choices and set it up were i can see the animation as soon as i plug it in. Hope u read this creators!

Hello! I was trying to click off of an ad but I wasn’t able to. If you could maybe fix that it would help. Thank you. chargingplay overall is good it’s just that when I need to exit an ad, it doesn’t work.

This is a great app, and I’m always looking for ways to customize my phone so chargingplay is awesome! But I wanted to use a different charging animation and wanted to watch an ad to get it, but it’s not working. I don’t know if it’s my phone? I have an iPhone 7 plus, and it’s pretty outdated, so my phone might be the problem. If it’s not, could you please fix this?

I love chargingplay! I love being able to have a charging animation by just clicking a few buttons, but could you fix the add situation? I understand having to play an add if we want to change it, I get you need to make money. I just wish you would fix the add placement on chargingplay. I own an IPhone XR so the ‘x’ is where it shows me the time on the stop of the screen. Because of this I am unable to exit out of the add when it finishes, so I have to wait 20 minutes before an add I can actually hit the ‘x’ on shows up. Could you please do something about this? Thank you!

so I really enjoy using chargingplay but it is very hard trying to replace the video you already have into a new one. I have to delete chargingplay and reinstall if i want to change my video, but overall a very good app! also if you could make it work while using headphones that would be useful because sometime the video can be a little loud.

I’ve had chargingplay for a while and there have been a few bugs that they’ve fixed before so I’m just here letting you know there’s an issue again with playing the video I’m using all together. I can only see it if I go into chargingplay . Even when I have enabled the “Don’t ask before running” features. Hopefully you guys can fix this soon 😊 Thanks!

chargingplay is wonderful, it’s just that, whenever I try clicking on chargingplay , the animation I chose, always pops up and I can never get get rid of it from my screen. When I want to change my animations into a newer one, I’d always have to redownload chargingplay in order to be able to choose an animation again.. I feel like chargingplay should let you be able to change your animations without having to always keep redownloading all the time. Overall, chargingplay is great and I love it very much!!

You go on chargingplay and click the animation thing then you scroll to the bottom and you should a plus like sign then click that then click the one you want then you go click it and you agree to all the top 2 but not the 3rd one and then you will see like check animation and then you click yes or whatever is their for yes, then you go to your shortcut app, go to automation, then click create personal automation then scroll the bottom if you want it to be for your charging time, then click which ever charging method works for you, then chose the option you want in the category, then click add action then you will search for “charging play” then you’ll click next and then you will decide if you want it to run before asking or not then you’ll click done and ur all set! Hope this helps 🙂

This is really awesome I recommend it when you’re charging it starts a video that’s all it’s very simple and awesome I love it it’s very entertaining and fun it makes me excited to charge my iPad! So yeah I recommend if you’re wanting to get chargingplay it’s completely free and fun I recommend if you are thinking to get it and plus if you get it you’re not losing anything because it’s completely free!

So basically it’s kinda dumb but after like 10-20 minutes of fiddling with it and unplugging your phone while in chargingplay it takes you to a different screen where it lets you choose the animation you’d like and such. It’s a bit wonky not gonna lie but it ended up working and now I have squidward saying he needs to get his peen sucked every time I charge my phone. 10/10

I was worried about trying this because of all the bad reviews. I dunno if others had previous buggy versions or have phones that aren’t compatible for some reason but I had no problem setting up my own clips for the automation. It was very quick and easy and everything works exactly as expected. I’ve even changed a few clips around and changed how they behaved before writing this review. The ads are no trouble for me. I was able to close out of them once watching them.

1. Either hit the home button twice or slide up until the pages appear
2. Slide up on chargingplay so it closes
3. Enter again and do the same process of when u started
That’s all it works great it’s just some people don’t know how to use it

chargingplay is really fun as it gives an animation of your choice when you charge it but for me and others I can’t press the X to exit out of an add. I really hope you can fix it as it causes problems for me and others.

i really love chargingplay, everything runs so smoothly. but one problem i have is that when i have my headphones on and charge my phone chargingplay automatically disconnects my headphones and starts playing the animation through my phones speaker. when i have my headphones on i expect it to play on them not through my phones speaker. of course if i dont have my headphones on then it should play through the speakers. it used to play through my headphones when i had them on but not anymore. can you fix that issue?
