Habits with Henry Reviews

After a year of no activity on new versions HabitswithHenry suddenly released version 1.67 with the terse description of, “bug fixes“ which apparently is Latin for, “Money grab“. This paid app is suddenly asking for a subscription fee? Do I get a promo code to cover my prior purchase? I don’t remember using an email to use HabitswithHenry so how are you going to get me this promo code? Or suddenly am I paying twice for HabitswithHenry?

I paid for it, but now it’s almost unusable. From a buyout to a high-priced subscription, I doubt the character of this developer. So don’t waste your money on HabitswithHenry.

App was wonderful and working as a paid app without a subscription. Now they push a "bug fixes" update which turns it into a forced subscription model. Slimy behavior. 0 stars.

HabitswithHenry literally touted itself as having “no subscriptions,” “no in-app purchases,” and “no selling your data.”

Then this morning I get a notification to upgrade to a “pro“ subscription model, or else delete the six habits that I’m tracking down to three habits.

Not cool.

Even though one of the screenshots of HabitswithHenry clearly says no in-app purchases or subscriptions, the newest update forces you to pay a subscription if you want more than 3 habits.

Very deceptive that the update description was for bug fixes.

Time to find another habit or to-do app instead.

If your reason for downloading is seeing: “no subscriptions or in-app purchases” that is featured just know you will instantly be asked to pay when you download.
I understand that apps need to make money, and I am sure that HabitswithHenry is great, but the misleading information doesn’t make me want to support the creators. I will just go elsewhere for a habits app.

I recently came back to Henry after getting a new phone and redownloading it after several months. I paid about $5 for HabitswithHenry initially. What's up with the Pro thing? I used to have certain features before, such as changing HabitswithHenry icon. Now I can't do that. Also, whenever I try to pull up the Pro page for more information, it NEVER loads. I've tried it on 5G+ data, 5G, and multiple different WiFi networks. It's just a white page and when I click out of it it says Purchase Cancelled. What's up with that, devs? Is there a way to restore my previous purchase, or is Pro a new subscription? If so, the photos in HabitswithHenry Store are misleading because one specifically says NO SUBSCRIPTIONS. I'm confused. Please help!

I grew to love HabitswithHenry, with the simplicity and playfulness of the UI and UX it’s pretty amazing how I don’t feel pressured to do my tasks. EXCEPT it notifies me a reminder even when the daily habit is already finished! Can the developers fix that please?

I've been looking for an app that was totally free to download on my mac but still would help me keep track of habits. I really love this one. Not only does it do what I need but it also is an adorable UI.

Only thing I would want to make it better is a more aesthetic widget for my mac desktop :)

This delightfully simple app is a pleasure to use. I enjoy its friendly interface and personable approach. When an icon I was hoping to find wasn’t available, I was prompted to send a message to the developer, which I did. I received a response within 12 hours! I am very happy with HabitswithHenry and with the developer’s responsiveness and support. I’m looking forward to sharing it with my friends and family :-)

Hello, HabitswithHenry is a great one. But there is still some needs improvement. Such as when one habit data is beyond 140 Kb it going to slow and frozen. And I hope I can convenient transfer my data which I used before HabitswithHenry, because I have to tap every day to record. Have a nice day, hope it's going to better.

HabitswithHenry is great perfect way to keep up with your habits. Gamifys it just enough to make you wanna keep the number going up. Fyi if you want to mark yesterdays habits just select the habit and click the day. Figured out that the hard way... also they have great support if you need anything.

HabitswithHenry is really enjoyable but there's a flaw: the habits do not auto refresh daily.
also I hope I can add mutiple reminders to a habit.

Definitely one of the top apps on my phone, would love to see HabitswithHenry get a dark mode in the near future though.

Nearing the end of the year I was looking for an app just like this! Gameifying completing habits is so smart. Also had a bug and reached out to developer who loaded a fix in 24hrs.

Inspires and motivate me more than any other habit tracker I’ve tried.
Very beautiful design.
Very functional.
Love the anytime repeat — most habit trackers lack this.
Only suggestions:
- Ability to add notes to a habit after we check it off for the day — to journal or keep a log of progress.
- Widget.
- More animals to choose from. I.e., Deer, squirrel, bird, other animals of the forest, etc.
- Additional inspiring icons to choose from.
- Night mode.

Well designed and beautiful user interface that guides you through the day and helps to keep you on track with your daily habits.

I forgot to log a task yesterday and wanted to go back to mark it complete today but can’t. I also agree with someone else who suggested a timer. I would also like to have a watch app.

Easy to use; I originally was interesed in thrive but buying the pack made more sense and I must say that I am loving the habits app so far! Clean app as you would want to have in apple eco system.

One purchase is applicable on all platforms i.e (iphone, Ipad & mac!)
