Idle Restaurant Tycoon: Empire Reviews

I’ve played this game for a long time now. I’ve enjoyed playing it but I’m getting a little frustrated with it lately. Only the first Restaraunt had any real additions when you renovated. Adding delivery service just doesn’t change much. Something new, truly new would be nice. A new restaurant would be great but I don’t see that happening. Plus, there are restaurants still waiting for the ability to renovate. When is that happening? Is it happening? Also giving us more time & restaurants to level up our managers would be nice. At least it would keep me busy for longer than a day or so. I’m almost at 5 stars in the highest renovations in all of my restaurants. I guess I find something else to play soon…..unless something changes. I used to spend a lot of money on this game. I won’t now. Not until a new restaurant is added or I can renovate other restaurants & actually build something besides delivery service in them.

EDIT- no updates. Nothing. Nothing for more than 6 months. I spent a lot of money in this game & lost most of what I bought because of glitching but I still would’ve spent more once the game stabilized. Now though, nope. Every other game I play updates often or regularly. This one has had nothing. The same weekly events over & over. I give it 1 more month & that’s only because I really did enjoy the game very much BUT 1 more month then I take my money elsewhere.

I played this game since it came out. I really enjoy the idle games. I can play this game all day just upgrading. I even ended up buying the no ads for the game which was a really time saver too to just speed things along the game. Today I was on the last unlocked level, and when I switched restaurants to check the progress.. an error happened where it went back to the very beginning with the tutorial which completely wiped out my progress. At first I hoped for it to be something else, and once I was done with the tutorial all over again I checked to see if my restaurants weren’t gone. Very sad to realize they were gone. I even checked to see if my in app purchase was still available, which I had to go to settings to restore my in app purchases. It did right away as if it still had my status still there somehow. Now I’m not in the motivation anymore as I was before to realize I can’t play the game I called my favorite. It was very disappointing. I emailed for feedback hoping for a restore. If that’s not possible. Then this game deserves a 2 star at least. Don’t recommend if you waste your time and effort towards the game for it just to be wiped out with a tap to another restaurant.

First off, let me say I've played Idle Miner (a different game by the same developer) for a couple of years. Perhaps that caused my expectations to be unfairly high, but them being from the same company is why I tried this one.

I managed to beat the first three scenarios in less than a week as a free to play. I did it by watching SO many ads. A nuisance, but doable. I was halfway through the Alpine scenario when along came an event. I wanted to support the game, but also thought it would be a great help for the event mine. I bought the All In package. Well, it turns out the only part of the package that helps is the ad skipping. I didn't have double income, nor the ability to be afk for more than an hour to accumulate money in the event.

The All In package isn't working correctly for the regular scenarios either. The money isn't accumulating properly. I'd give this game 4 stars if it had been honest about the packages. I'd also assume that with a bit more development time it can be a 5 star game like Idle Miner. Right now though I feel like a sucker. =(

I’m going to cut this as short as possible because i’m just fed up. I emailed support to help me because my game crashed and restarted. They emailed me back asking me for information so I emailed back all information needed and waited. Never got a email back. I decided to write a review and they advised me to reach out AGAIN. Once again I did and I made sure that they were sent one long email so they could see the previous emails I received. She emailed me back with a email that had codes on it which she claimed they sent to me which I never got that email AND I never used or seen any of the codes on there. I asked if it was possible to codes or refund me for my purchases I made in the game. David said this “I'm sorry you've had this issue. Unfortunately, we sent you the codes on February 8 and they are valid for 28 days. As my colleague explained, we are unable to provide you with new codes if they have expired.” I had been checking my email every single day since I emailed them on February 3. Maybe it would be easier to see an email from “Idle Restaurant” than from some random name. So like I said to David, Ridiculous.

I’ve been playing this game for awhile and have had a few issues with it and have contacted customer support for the game. Responses have always been partial, unhelpful, and then the request ticket gets closed after 24 hours after support responds if you don’t respond back. But for some reason it’s ok for them to take 3 whole days to respond to me? Recently, my game completely reset on me and there wasn’t even a recent update as other poor reviews have mentioned. I was on the final level of all restaurants, had almost all of the managers, and had upgraded many of them. For some reason my in-game friends are still linked to my game, so I’m not sure why support is refusing to restore my game.

My recommendation: don’t bother. Right when you feel like you’re doing really well, it will all get eased and you’ll realize you just wasted hours of your life (and possibly money).

I clicked the VIP customer in the franchise for the event and it offered me $27million which is obviously great for my progress in the event but when I clicked to watch the ad, the car just drove away. This has happed a few time with diamonds during normal play so it’s getting pretty frustrating. I also feel like at some point there’s no way to progress without just watching tons of ads which isn’t fun. I will say I’m glad you get to choose to watch ads. I watch tons since I get rewards but if they had been pop up ads I would have uninstalled the game

I read the reviews claiming that the game deletes your progress.. but I decided to try the game anyway. Needless to say, those folks are right. I had just opened my 4th restaurant in the game when it just randomly restarted. Fix this glitch, it’s been an issue for a while & you guys haven’t fixed the problem or bothered to restore people’s progress in the game.

Update 6/27: I gave this game another chance after it deleted all my progress. I was only TWO stars away from opening a 5th restaurant when i updated the game. When reopening the game after the update, the game started from the beginning AGAIN. You guys always comment to “email you at blahblah” but you NEVER respond to the email. Im done wasting my time on this game.

I just started and feel like I’m going to blow through all 3 restaurants quickly. And every idle game takes FOREVER to bring new content. But the biggest problem is the event. Are you kidding? I’m getting NOWHERE. It takes FOREVER to earn money and I’m barely going to get any rewards. Plus there is no option in events to get 2x earnings unless you get it by CHANCE from the event chest. How many gems do you think I’m going to waste on a game to only have a slight possibility of getting the boosts I need? You need to make the event more playable if you only have 2-3 days to complete it.

Okay ima just start with saying that this game takes so long just to make a couple bucks. Like first I have 29 and then when my costumers go I had 33. Which is just only 4 dollars (I did the math myself). Also the salary’s are WAY too high. I have 1 chef and I have to pay 90 dollars for their salary. Is that how much you need to pay if you had an actual restaurant? I don’t think so. Anything else this game isn’t bad but just please fix the salary’s and the money making thanks for understanding.

My whole restaurant staff quit on me. I was getting mad cause the waiter weren’t even serving the tables fast enough and they would be standing there. I absolutely love a good idle game and the positive 5 star reviews probably do it justice. But for me I just want my workers to either not be paid to work or just have at least 1 worker not paid and then the rest you pay. So much better than all of them leaving at once leaving me clueless on how to get more money. I’m not buying the money because what if I lose my workers again then I just wasted my real life money . I’m just bummed out to say the least.

I like it but why is there so many ads do I have to watch a add after every 10 minutes... still... I like the game it’s chill. I listen to Lofi hip hop while playing this I barely started but it’s ok. I started to have a second table but can you make the tables less expensive like 5,000 less or 350,000 less. I was just asking but I love the game. Like a lot. More then music. More then Lofi now.

I finished all the restaurants already, and I can’t get enough. This game is so fun, and addictive. I really enjoy fixing up the restaurants and all the adding (discos, karaoke, etc.) are cute. I’m very much looking forward to the next update. Also the occasional timed restaurants are super. I’m very glad I found this game, imma start haunting the others that these guys make. 🤘🏻

I absolutely love this game, it’s soooooo fun and addicting I really can’t stop playing and don’t want too I even put money into it, that’s how much I love this game and I really wanna get all 5 stars on every restaurant and on the one that’s coming soon I just hope that there’s more and more restaurants coming soon lol, download this game!!!!

I really like this game but the glitches are getting worse. I haven’t been able to add friends for weeks (I’ve emailed support at least 5 times) and it’s been updated twice not fix. Not the event is glitching and I’m not earning hardly any profit (none of my outside tables increase any profit). Nothing is working like it did when I first started playing. It would be a great game if it worked like it should.

Overall it is a really good game I think there should be like at least three small tables or make the big table cost 3000 what I don’t get somebody pls comment and tell me why do I always lose so much money when my shop closes nevermind I kinda misclicked on the four star when I saw that you responded I was really happy

Hi I have to say this is my favorite idle game but one problem so I was only playing this for like ten minutes and then my host went away so did my chef and now some suggestions many add a telephone so ppl can make reservations and add where you can put menus of what burgers you own and add a drink menu that’s all bye.

I love the way it’s made it is just so good and I love that it makes you think about what to spend your money on I just wish that the cost for things was cheaper but that’s the only thing I think that they should change

I have been enjoying this game enough to buy the iaps. My only suggestion would be to add a mass upgrade button. So I can upgrade in sets of 10, 20, 50 instead of 1 at a time. Or maybe upgrade everything in an area at one time per click instead of clicking a hundred times per item. Otherwise great game.

Hello developers,
This game is fun and visually appealing but, can you please add more missions to the other restaurants please I would love to earn extra money and more gems in the other restaurants also it seems weird that they would have only a couple missions but the idle diner has many and the last is upgrading everything.

I’ve just started playing this game for a few weeks now and I like how it’s hard in the beginning, like in real life it makes you think to spend your money wisely. So now about the glitch. I just got the milkshake bar and hired a bartender or whatever. Then the bartender disappeared. Then it happened to my cleaners they disappeared and weren’t cleaning. Please fix this
