This is why I stopped downloading apps because of how deceptive people are. If you charge then say you charge in the beginning allowing people to make a choice if we want to buy or not!! I was unable to open or download any of the selections on LearnHebrewAlphabetWords in order to get the FREE flash cards or FREE Hebrew dictionary you advertise so I deleted LearnHebrewAlphabetWords !! This is a scam!! Don’t download!! Unless you want to pay $12 & up just to get basics! 😠👎🏼👎🏼

Nothing in LearnHebrewAlphabetWords is free. Literally cannot look at basic flash cards, vowels, letters, lessons - NONE. NOTHING. You must buy the full version of LearnHebrewAlphabetWords for any functionality. No way am I dropping money on an app where I cannot access at least one lesson as a trial first.

I have just downloaded LearnHebrewAlphabetWords and got paid walled. To access LearnHebrewAlphabetWords you must pay for the program. Why make a free app when you have to pay for the content inside?

NO BUENO … Not helpful, but then you got ads to make it even worse! I love this language and it’s people and I’m gonna learn it sooner or later… But not using LearnHebrewAlphabetWords

If you have to purchase or put in your card information into the subscription to get a “free” week. It’s not free, you got a discount added to your purchase. That is the problem, there is not ANY training on your app someone can use unless you purchase the subscription based service your provide. That would be deceiving to those that look into your app. Your description says “for full training you’d have to purchase the subscription” which is false I downloaded LearnHebrewAlphabetWords and everything I clicked on took me to the purchasing page for the subscription.
Please just be honest, it’s not hard.

1: if someone has to give you their card information to then receive the “free” week again it’s not free. Free under any sales understanding would mean there is nothing someone has to do in order to receive said product or service.

2: not all subscriptions work like this, in fact many provide the free week first or limited features of LearnHebrewAlphabetWords and then require payment to continue forward. You on the other hand require payment information and a confirmation of purchase of said subscription to receive the “free” week. Which then at that point they could cancel anytime to not be charged.

3: deception doesn’t always involve a lie, it can involve trickery which leads people to believe one thing and in actuality you are saying another. At no point in your app description do you mention this. You mention how someone will be charged once in the subscription but not any of the other important details of this process.

I downloaded and started using LearnHebrewAlphabetWords. It seemed pretty good until I hit the first in-app ad. As soon as I dismiss the ad it takes me back to the beginning of the flash cards. I tried multiple times and it repeats. I can’t get past about the 15th flash card where it shows the first ad. I think LearnHebrewAlphabetWords needs more QA. Either that or this is a very strange business model.

I think it is a great app to learn the Hebrew ABC and the different ways to write it and a very good tool to increase your vocabulary, but if you want to learn to speak Hebrew, LearnHebrewAlphabetWords is not an easy way to achieve that goal. Without mentioning grammatical rules like identifying the type of verbs and their roots, it is a great challenge and very hard for a beginner to learn by LearnHebrewAlphabetWords without looking for that fundamental information from other sources.

Verbs should match more so what is spoken colloquially. E.g “to open” is לפתוח and not so much לפקוח. Would help if words were accompanied by an example sentence and also the pronoun that accompanies it (ב, איתו, עליו, etc)

I have been having trouble with Hebrew and LearnHebrewAlphabetWords made me better with letters I haven’t seen before.

Excellent app for a beginner! I was grateful for free trial option to determine if it was a good fit for me. Wonderful design and easy to use!

LearnHebrewAlphabetWords is very simple yet very educational. I am definitely enjoying learning Hebrew with LearnHebrewAlphabetWords.
