PhotoWidget : Simple Reviews

Photo which is my favorite application on my current iPhone. I get to write inspirational quotes to myself I mean who doesn’t want that. so when photo widget asked me if I wanted to write their application of course I ran over here. my personal favorite way to motivate myself is pictures of Ed Sheeran. I can actually put multiple pictures of Ed Sheeran on my phone at one time.I recommend this to everyone and anyone including ed sheeran. BT dubs did you guys know that he has new music. ed Sheeran please support this application thank you.

PhotoWidget is really awesome! I can make multiple albums of pictures or other types of widgets. It’s a simple and easy way to customize your phone or device for free! Adds do occasionally pop up but are normally only about 30 seconds or less and are not very often. It is definitely worth the adds to have these widgets. I have albums of pictures and a personal theme widget and you can make lots of different albums. They are easy to add to your Home Screen and change about every 10-15 minutes. Sometimes they tend to repeat the same ones so I just go on PhotoWidget and switch around the ordering of the different pictures. Overall I love PhotoWidget, it is easy to use, free, and a great way to customize and level up your Home Screen.

I love PhotoWidget a lot! It’s a great app, and I love being able to look at pictures, see the date, make a count down, etc. There’s just something that I think is kind of odd. I wanted to change my Icons, so I went in to photo widget, and of course, I could. So I go in to change it to some Icons that I think are pretty, and I go through the steps, blah blah blah, and it gives me this example screen shot of what the page should look like. It says “Signed by: (whoever signed it)” and beneath that it says verified. So I get to there but instead of it saying “Signed by: (whoever signed it)” It wasn’t signed. I clicked install anyway, and it gave me a warning page. It says that this isn’t signed, and making a big deal about it. So I go back and try out different Icon themes; same thing every time. I really wish I could have used the Icons, but other than that, PhotoWidget is great! I definitely recommend PhotoWidget!

I love PhotoWidget. I literally have no complaints about it. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I love the fact that I can set up my albums and choose which album I would like to be displayed on the widgets on my home screen. I also like the time interval in which my multiple photos can be changed because seeing a new picture in whatever interval u set is refreshing. I only hope that you’ll add other widgets not just photo widgets maybe calendars with multiple fonts and colors / backgrounds we can add ourselves from camera roll or even choose from, a clock (whether digital or analog) , battery percentage, reminders, notes and just any other widgets you guys think would be cute!

Love love love PhotoWidget!!! I can’t wait to see what other updates you have in store...

PhotoWidget is great and so are the themes but here are 3 things that i have an issue/want to do.
1. i want to download the icon images separately to my camera roll instead of installing them as a profile.
#2 and #3 wouldn’t be an issue if i could do 1.
2. the way shortcuts work in iOS now opens PhotoWidget immediately without running the shortcuts in the back. if i open my most recent apps after using the shortcuts made by the this app app, i have a bunch of blank white screens in between the apps. if i could download the images separately and make my own shortcuts, this wouldn’t happen.
3. opening the safari shortcut each time opens a new tab. i want it to open to the tab that i was on before leaving the safari app. again, if i could download the images separately and make my own shortcuts, this wouldn’t happen.

PhotoWidget is very useful for your Home Screen! You can choose any photos on your phone to be on a widget, and you have the option to slideshow through the photos on an album you’ve chosen every few minutes, hours, or whatever you choose! You can have unlimited widgets on your screen and it just feels a lot nicer than some of the other widget apps I’ve tried. Also any bugs I’ve encountered were solved very quickly and I could update PhotoWidget within a day or two of finding the bug.
One thing that would make this app better is if they added the option to have widgets tell the time or the date, but overall, it’s great and really easy to use! (Plus it’s completely free)

If you are thinking of getting an app to decorate your iPhone home screen this is definitely the one for you!!!! It’s free, has soooo many themes, and is very easy to install. The only thing I would recommend is adding more themes like aesthetics like indie, cottage core, etc…that would be great and also add app widgets with aesthetic themes too. That’s just an idea but I think it would also be nice to add more apps bc I have a lot like greenlight and Starbucks etc and that would be great. Lastly I think this is the best app ever it’s free and amazing of course every app has their pros and cons but in this case I think this is the best app you could get. Take care, stay healthy!

PhotoWidget is really cool! And it’s the first free app I could find for this! I loved it the instant I installed it. But one day I was logging into my phone and I was going to change one of my albums because I use the photo album ones and when I changed it and came out of PhotoWidget it turned grey and blank all my other ones were fine except this one. When I checked my album it had disappeared and nothing was in the album so I got out of PhotoWidget and restarted my phone and went back in and the other widget were grey I was very disappointed. So I deleted PhotoWidget and found a new one but the other apps like this was hot garbage so I and I installed it again. It worked perfect after that and so far I have no other complaints I love PhotoWidget and keep up the great work! 👍🏻

PhotoWidget does in fact WORK! It’s great for my phone because PhotoWidget has so many options to choose from! And the favorites allows you to come back to the themes you like! It’s simple to apply and delete themes! It only takes a few minutes out of your day! I personally don’t have premium because i’m fine with the ads but if you don’t want ads then you can buy the premium! I love PhotoWidget so much and i recommended it to my best friend and now she uses it so much! I personally like the ‘aesthetic’ themes because they just fit my style and i bet you could find a theme for your style and your phone too! I give this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! It’s so amazing!!!!! ✨🐡🌊🌻🐠🍭

To be honest PhotoWidget is certainly amazing. I love it a lot and how it makes my Home Screen look so cute but there’s a problem. When I’m putting the photo widget it doesn’t allow me to pic which photos I wanna use. I would get so frustrated with it and how it randomly puts a picture that I didn’t want. I’ve tried to adjust widgets to current settings but all it does is nothing. I would click on adjust but nothing changes. I then went to my settings to see if I can do something about it but as I was looking for Photo Widget, I couldn’t find it. All my other apps were there except for Photo Widget so I couldn’t adjust to current settings or whatever. I was really confused. I don’t know what’s going on. I really wish it would work. Hopefully you guys fix it but other than that, PhotoWidget is cool though.

Honestly, I had been looking for something like this to edit my phone screen and had tried many apps which had failed. Considering this, I wasn’t expecting much different from PhotoWidget either. I had expected their to be in app purchases for everything like the others, but it wasn’t! Everything was free to use and easy to set up! It’s also customizable, so I don’t have to search for hours to find the right one for me! I was very surprised to see how well this turned out! Usually I don’t leave a review, but I had to share my great experience! Overall, I love PhotoWidget and would totally recommend!

It does exactly what it’s made for: adding a photo widget to your Home Screen. It’s very easy to use and allowed me to display the photos I chose. I also appreciate the fact that I can choose the amount of time one photo is shown on the widget, until it shuffles (in order or randomly depending on what you chose) to another photo in the album. I wouldn’t change anything about PhotoWidget, but I do want to know how to display the photo album’s name on my Home Screen instead of it saying “photo widget.” I don’t know if it’s currently possible or not since I didn’t see any options to do that? Anyways, thank you for making PhotoWidget!

I’m just curious why there is the option to only allow access to selected photos if PhotoWidget will have access to all my photos regardless. I specifically set certain photos for privacy reasons, and that option for “only selected photos” is selected in my settings app. This just seems to defeat the purpose of selecting certain photos and violates my privacy. I still gave 5 stars because I don’t want to mess you guys up, and I’m just genuinely curious why this feature isn’t working properly. If I am doing something wrong too, I’d love to know! Thank you!!

So i got PhotoWidget just last night and set everything up, everything works just fine except for one thing. Photo Refresh Interval. When i go to settings and click on PRI it allows me to change the time but it never stays. For example i want to change it o 1 hour but it’ll change back to 10 minutes. The only time it will stay is if i keep PhotoWidget open and i really don’t want to do that. I’ve tried searching on the internet to see if i can fix the problem but i cant find anything. The articles i get aren’t even related to my question, no matter what way i ask it. I’m just wondering if there is a way to fix this or not.

PhotoWidget is awesome, I got so much got photos and it’s like slideshow. My only concern is that you can only have one widget instead of multiple widgets on the screen and that one widget had many photos you can add to it and it will keep on going throw out the day and change on its own.

I really hope that in the future that you can add more than one widget on the phone but overall it’s amazing and exactly what I needed. Since the iOS 14 update came out I have been designing my screen and found this perfect app to decorate it with. It’s perfect.

So when I first downloaded PhotoWidget, and made my first two widgets, it worked perfectly. I made my very first home screen section and it was very pleasing that I finally found an app that worked for me. Then, I went to the next page, and when I tried to make a widget with a new picture, it used the very first picture I had used, WHEN I HAD DELETED IT. I deleted and re-downloaded PhotoWidget , and realized it deleted my first two successfully-made widgets, but I wasn’t too mad. I tried to make my first one and I got the picture done and all, but when I added the widget to the home screen, it just used PhotoWidget cover. I tried it multiple times. I deleted and re-downloaded PhotoWidget again, and even shut off my phone. But still, it didn’t work. Please fix this.

I downloaded PhotoWidget a few days ago to decorate my home screen. It went well when I finished and looked great. However I went back to delete those photos I have on my widget and later the widgets say failed to load. I’m guessing it says that because you have to keep the photos, but why would I wanna keep photos in my library just so that the widgets stay? Can’t this issue change to something like you add all the widgets, they stay in PhotoWidget but not in the library but still they will stay on the home screen and won’t get removed. If this would be changed, that would be amazing and I will rate it 5 stars immediately. Thanks.

So I first got PhotoWidget and it looked very easy I watched a couple of videos and it looked pretty good and cute so , I decided to make my own however I put my first wedge and made my aesthetic screen and it was going fine until ... I tried to add my second wedge it changed to the same one as my first so I was the video again to see exactly what she did for her second one I tried but it still didn’t worked I downloaded re downloaded but the same issue happened I hope that you can fix this as soon as possible and get 5 stars but for right now I feel like it’s something that somebody can use for just a edit or something basic.

Great app! But there are a few things that could take PhotoWidget to the next level. Allow for you to pick multiple pics at the same time. It’s extremely tedious to have go back in constantly. Allow to automatically scroll to the top of you camera roll. Allow for shuffle of pictures so it’s unexpected which picture going to see. You should also allow a preview for each widget size so your able to see what the photo will look like in the widget. If you could also allow pictures to be resized so that each picture looks the best.

Ok, PhotoWidget is amazing! It’s better than all of the other ones. But 2 Little problems.. 1. Whenever I try to get the widget and wallpaper, It never shows up. All I get is the icons, Which is getting annoying. 2. Whenever I get an icon, I watch an ad, right? (That’s not the problem though.) The problem is that whenever I watch an ad, my app freezes. And I have to close the tab, and go back in it, and it does the SAME thing. Please fix these two small bugs. I’m not going to delete it, It’s just, It’s annoying when it does that. Other than that, Amazing app! Keep on going!

I I would suggest being able to put different pictures not just one

i love it, way better than the one apple has that shows memories.
if you have any future updates though i’d love it if you created maybe two different sections (??) like i have two photo widgets open for my layout, but it shows the same photo on each widget.
it’d be cool if you could have two different photos showing on each different widget.
but yeah i love this so thank you for making it !!

PhotoWidget is nice because with the new ios 14 there is a photo widget but you aren’t able to change what pictures are shown. PhotoWidget lets you choose ten pictures and then rotate how often you want them to change. it’s not a complicated app, and it does its job nicely.

I like the widget but I wish you could set it so the pictures change like every 10, 30 or 60 seconds.

Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn’t.

I’ve tried picking different pictures and all it shows is the widge icon. Very frustrating

You can not set more then 10 mins. I tried to set to 3 hours and it doesn’t stick. It defaults back to 10 mins. Developer doesn’t answer emails.

love this idea to add photos! however i wanted to change the photo and i think it would be amazing if you can add multiple photos and swipe for which ones you want shown instead of them showing up in intervals. that way it’s more customizable!

App works great, works as it should. The only issue I found was that the widget shape I wanted was not available for PhotoWidget(2long 1high). I think it’s a great product I just am bummed the widget shape I was going to use wasn’t even available.

i love PhotoWidget very much. i was upset with the photos app because you cannot select the image you want with it. PhotoWidget provides it and it’s perfect. my only flaw with PhotoWidget is that they only have two sizes which is the small square and big square. if you guys could put in the rectangle then i’d say it’s a 5 star app!

I downloaded PhotoWidget really excited to make my home screen look better, but after trying to make a second widget PhotoWidget has a loading screen that won’t go away and eventually deletes my first widget. I’m not sure how to make a second widget.

I’ve been really enjoying PhotoWidget with the new iOS 14 update, but just noticed that the widget started flickering before it changed to the next photo. Hopefully PhotoWidget gets updated and fixed soon! Thank you!

I guess it’s good if you want to display just one picture at all times but I wanted it to change more frequently, like every minute. It would be nice if you could swipe through the pictures too. Just not enough functionality. If only the default photos widget was better...
