Not worth the money

I’ve been navigating insomnia due to perimenopause and increased anxiety. SleepReset has been ok and generally good for tracking and helping me to identify things I can do to clean up my sleep hygiene. I already track with my Garmin, and it does a nice job of syncing with Apple Health (most of the time). It’s made adjustments to my recommended sleep schedule to promote better sleep, which has been ok. There’s education and tips it provides that introduces light touch CBT, but I expected more with that to help with my individual issues. The only reason I can imagine SleepReset charges so much ($300 for 2 months) is for a personal coach and that has NOT been worth it. I’m adding notes into my sleep logs and I don’t think my coach is reading them. She asks me generic questions that show she’s not paying attention or maybe is just AI, in which case the cost is way to high. I recommend you invest in a real sleep study if you can afford that or your insurance covers it, or an app that doesn’t pretend it offers hands on support. You won’t receive that here.

Didn’t work for me

Unfortunately this program didn’t work for me. It relies on me being able to report how much time I spent being awake in bed, how long I’ve been awake during the night etc in order to track progress. But I have a condition where I feel like I’ve been awake the whole night but then later I will remember a dream, which means I might have been asleep for a little but I don’t remember. And when I’m like that at night I couldn’t just keep looking at the clock like “ok, now I’ve been awake for 60mins, let me log that into SleepReset tomorrow”. And when I brought that up with my coach, she was not all that helpful. She sounded like a robot who’s just giving me generic responses like “I see!”. She also wasn’t very responsive - she will ask me how I was, I will reply, and I will hear back from her few hours later with a generic question like “is there anything you want to discuss?”. It was a very frustrating process and I eventually gave up, even though I paid 200+ dollars. I did learn some cool facts about sleep from SleepReset , so there’s that. I’m still sleep deprived while I type this.

It works!

My doctor has been suggesting I do a “sleep study” for insomnia for almost a year but I never wanted to because it sounded like a huge hassle. I pictured myself filling out a lot of paperwork or staying overnight at a lab. I’m pretty sure SleepReset is the equivalent of a sleep study at a fraction of the cost and inconvenience. I started the program only 10 days ago and I have been following 90% of the recommendations and doing all of the prompts. In just 10 days I went from having long term, severe insomnia (0-3 hours of sleep a night) to 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night. I feel so much better. I am confident that if I continue the program I will improve my sleep even more, and I will solidify the habits that I’m learning from SleepReset and make then lifelong habits. I honestly had no idea how poor my sleep habits were. Even though I had heard all about “sleep hygiene”- I knew not to look at my phone at night or drink coffee in the afternoon, for example- SleepReset has taught me so much more and clearly, the suggestions work. I would definitely recommend giving SleepReset a try, so long as you are really ready to do what it says. It’s very expensive, for an app, and it only works if you make the changes, so only do it if you’re ready to really change your habits in search of better sleep.

It does really help!

I found this app randomly one night when I was awake for 4 hours (again…). I told myself that I needed to do something to improve my sleep, just can’t do this anymore. I had never heard about this app but thought I would try since the reviews are great. After 8 weeks, my sleep has improved a lot. I used to wake up and can’t go back to sleep for hours several times a week. I also woke up 3-4 times a night to go to bathroom. The best part of this app is to set the sleep schedule and it was so effective. Now I get up at 6:00 am every morning, I wake up 1-2 a night and can go back to sleep most of the time. It is magically that at 10:00 pm, I feel so sleepy so I have to go to bed. They provide some great lessons everyday which are short but informative. I got rid of a lot of bad habit which comprised my sleep quality. The customer service is great as well. I am very grateful for the change I have made thanks to this app!

It works!

I was feeling discouraged because I had pretty good sleep hygiene and do hard workouts, and still couldn’t stay asleep. I was in bed 9 hours to get 6 hrs, and it would take me 2 hrs to get going in the mornings from my cocktail of OTC sleep products (1 Benadryl, 5-10 mg of Melatonin)- that weren’t even working. Saw the reviews for this and decided to try it. It is very well designed. I don’t even really need my coach, although it’s nice to have her there if needed. It took 15 days for me to see a change and it got worse before it got better, but I’m really happy with where I am now. I’m down to 1/2 Benadryl only and am weaning off that. Even if I wake up at night (by my husband, bathroom, etc.) I go right back to sleep. I have gained 3-5 hrs in my day and can participate in some early group workouts. It does take commitment and consistency but trust the process- it will help.

I would absolutely recommend Sleep Ritual to anyone struggling with sleep issues.
I spent years and years trying to figure out a way to sleep through the night. Literally tried every sleep remedy/medication that I could find. SleepReset was my last resort before a sleep clinic.
Wow. I’m amazed.!!!! It really worked !! My coach Lauren was fantastic. She was very responsive, kind and always had great insight! I felt like I had a understanding, compassionate friend to help me through this program. Having this support was definitely a game changer.
The program was very organized and easy to understand. Each day you logged in and reported your nights sleep and sleep habits. You had access to a daily lesson and even a mind Spa ( to relax and listen ). Your couch was there M-F to support you.
All I know is that…..it Truly works!! Definitely try it!!!

I hit bottom - this app is tops!

My sleep was SO BROKEN. I’d have no problem falling asleep, but getting through the night was practically impossible. I would read in bed from my phone to try to get drowsy, toss & turn for 2-3 hours. I was resigned and desperate at the same time, and did not want to try medication again; I’d tried the ambien fog and didn’t want to go back to that. My wife had read about CBT in the news, researched a few apps and suggested this. Easy start, no physician referral, but hmmm, a little pricey. Well… it works!!! I’m about 5 weeks in and am now consistently getting 6.5 hours continuous restorative sleep. So many habits improved through the guidance and encouragement from my wonderful coach, Mija! She’s responsive, knowledgeable, and closely monitors and guides my progress. It’s not cheap and the first couple of weeks were tough but this program really works - I’m so glad I stuck with it!

It’s worth 10x what I paid

I cannot say enough good things about SleepReset. I’ve tried every sleep supplement there is, from ashwaganda to melatonin to Benadryl and magnesium. I took Benadryl every night for 9 years because it was the only thing that would help me fall asleep.

Then I discovered it has a correlation to Alzheimer’s and it scared the sleep right out of me. I opted for sleepless nights because I thought that was better than losing my mind.

I thought the only thing that might save me was an Ambien prescription, and even that came with its own side effects.

Then I found SleepReset.

When I saw it could help you sleep without Rx, I was intrigued. I’d heard a lot of people mention CBT, I didn’t realize it could be used for insomnia.

This has perhaps been the single best investment I have made in my entire life. I am a new man, since day 1 of using SleepReset I have been able to sleep without any supplements! The quality of my sleep has gotten better each day. I love having a coach to hold me accountable and help me reach my goals. I’ve never been more confident about my sleep and what once kept me up at night is now in the rear view mirror.

Do yourself a favor and invest in this program. It can add years to your life, I certainly believe it did for mine knowing I no longer have to rely on supplements or prescriptions with life altering side effects.

Yippee!!!!

Sleep Reset enabled me to look at the process of sleeping in a totally different light. Previously, I did not consider sleeping as a process but rather a nightly event that may or may not be challenging. Consequently, to help me get through the increasing challenge of being unable to sleep, I took non-prescription sleeping pills nightly for 5 straight years. Once in enrolled in Sleep Reset, I begin to understand the the behavioral science that shapes sleeping patterns. As a result, I am much more cognizant of boundaries and techniques that help me get better and more efficient sleep naturally. I have stopped the use of sleeping aids entirely.

Of particular note with Sleep Reset is the availability of a personal counselor to help guide your journey to better sleep. Lauren, my counselor, always responded to my concerns and issues in a timely and cogent manner, based on the context I presented. I was most impressed with her warm and caring presentation of self during my participation in the program.

This Program Works!

I've had problems falling asleep at night for over a year now. I tossed and turned for 2 - 3 hours every night before finally falling asleep but then woke up again in the middle of the night, just to toss and turn for another 2 - 3 hours. It was exhausting and so frustrating!
I tried all kinds of remedies, even CBD, but nothing helped permanently.
I then stumbled across the Sleep Reset program and was immediately interested since it has a behavioral approach rather than using medication.
As a board certified behaviorist myself, I knew that I could change my poor sleep behavior with a well designed program that was implemented consistently, so I gave it a try.
The first week was really hard, but I already saw progress in week two, which got me excited and motivated.
By week six I had changed my sleeping duration from an average of 4.5 hours to 7.5 hours!
And I now fall asleep within 10 minutes! It's just incredible!
The Sleep Reset program is very thoughtfully designed, with daily informative mini lessons and continuous support by a personal coach (in my case, Shonda).
This combination was what helped me transform my sleeping habits, and it has been life-changing. I now have much more energy, and I look forward to going to bed - who would have thought!

Getting more regular sleep

I needed help with trying to restart my writing career and could only find the time between 5-7 am. But I couldn’t adjust my habits and was panicking when I would awaken several times a night. SleepReset helped me learn about good sleep “hygiene”. Loved the many ways to help me get back on track— from setting a sleep schedule and tracking how often I awake and learning how to reduce that and fall back asleep more quickly (except when I really was stressed by work deadlines), to having a nightly ritual that helps me wind down, to understanding how my diet and exercise affect my ability to sleep the night through, to even dealing with my own inner self-critic and handling living with a night owl partner when I am an early morning riser by nature! All of this even helps me concentrate better during the day! I especially liked having a real person as a sleep coach to confide in by sharing what happened and why, I could see what my issues actually are. I also still might have a sleep study as I have started snoring in recent years and have been awakening occasionally with nausea that could be medical issues that can’t be addressed in an app.

Learning to sleep again

Just finished the 12-week program (plus 1 week of free monitoring before I committed). Because I treated my sleep reset like any other professional learning “class,” I enjoyed good results. Each day I completed the log, attended their on-line lessons, made notes and changed something.

Initially, I wanted better sleep quality. I wanted to reduce my “awake” time during the night. I did so and eliminated a few prescription and over-the-counter sleep aids. With Sleep Reset I changed my goals to 1) improving “enablers” of good sleep (e.g., routine bedtime and awake time, limited eating, drinking, screen-time before bed); 2) adding daily activity (10k steps per day); 3) measuring REM + Deep sleep as a proxy for sleep quality. My REM + deep sleep increased from 21% to 26% of each night’s sleep-time. And, my “awake” time during the night was reduced as I learned to manage insomnia by coming to bed with more “sleepiness or fatigue” and more calmness.

Also, I recover from the occasional late-night social event with a few days of diligent sleep hygiene.

This program was miraculous for me

I was at my wits end with insomnia for years. Although I’d tried SO many things to fall asleep quickly and stay asleep, nothing worked reliably without causing negative impact during my waking hours. My physical & mental health was seriously, negatively impacted. I just wanted to scream and cry in frustration every single day. I reached my breaking point, started searching for different types of sleep improvement methods and programs. When I found Sleep Reset and read their program material, I signed up immediately. My journey took a little longer than 8 weeks to achieve the success I wanted, but I now fall asleep within 5 minutes of getting in bed and stay asleep throughout the night. I love this program!

I started Somryst and Sleep Reset at the same time. Sleep Reset worked better for me of the 2 programs. I started having insomnia several years ago due to work-related stress. The stress resolved but by that time my body had become habituated to waking during the night for several hours. I’ve tried lots of different things including exercise and melatonin to help but realized I needed a structured program. Sleep Reset is similar to Noom in that you get a 2-minute lesson on sleep tips everyday and you log your sleep and answer some questions to keep you accountable. You also have a sleep coach assigned to you. You can ask questions anytime and the coach will answer the next work day. If the coach doesn’t hear from you, he or she will check in every week. I liked the information presented, logging my sleep and having the coach for accountability. I’m happy to say that I feel like I have graduated and no longer need SleepReset because it solved my sleep issue. Thank you so much to the makers of SleepReset. It was life changing for me!

Sleep Reset has So much Value!

I used the Sleep Reset App for 12 weeks. I signed up for SleepReset out of desperation for my insomnia that has plagued me for decades. It was incredibly easy to use, with so many useful resources neatly packaged. I’ve used over the counter supplements, herbal supplements, and doctor prescribed medication. I’ve also tried meditation, qigong, and yoga on my own. SleepReset has a totally different approach - it is so much an educational experience as well as a support system. It incorporated what I already knew and brought it to a new level of awareness. My sleep coach was always so supportive. I expected her to tell me what to do but she also challenged me to help myself by asking direct questions that let me to self reflect. My sleep coach was very responsive to questions. I’ve never tried a sleep app nor a sleep coach. Getting back to deep restorative sleep is not an overnight miracle. If you are willing to be patient with yourself and open to improving your overall well-being, SleepReset will help you. So many other areas of my personal care improved, as a bonus! This is a super star app!

After decades of being so fatigued that I needed to nap daily, and still get around 10 hours of sleep a night….after numerous sleep studies which showed fragmented sleep but no one knew why…after so many different sleep meds that would stop working, after seeing several neurologists, and having every blood test imaginable….at my wits end, literally, I stumbled across Sleep Reset. Great program

My sleep troubles started with my pregnancy. I had always been a great sleeper my entire life until that point. I could sleep anywhere, in the middle of 50 people. I didn’t care. But during my pregnancy things changed. I hoped for it to go back to normal after I was done with pregnancy, but it didn’t. I did not want to take any medication so I was looking for ways that did not involve medications. My friend found this link and sent it to me. I decided to purchase the program. From the beginning I found it very helpful. My coach was amazing and guided me every step of the way. Things were difficult at times but she helped me build my sleep drive. There were days that were very difficult as we were trying different strategies. But I started to build a sleep drive and started to get sleep. I am able to sleep so much better now. I am not back to my before pregnancy sleep but hoping to get there soon. I would recommend this program to anyone having sleep troubles. You have to stick with the program and follow the steps and put in the work and you will see the results. Best of luck!

Worth every penny!

I joined Sleep Ritual because no matter what I did I was having such a hard time getting quality sleep. Let me tell you it was worth the money. The quality of my sleep has changed for the better and I feel so much more rested. I can get through the day without a nap. I feel more focused during the day and can get much more accomplished. I enjoyed the one-on-one coaching and feel this really helped advance my progress. You are assigned a coach from the beginning and the coach is available M-F and will respond within 24 hours during the week. They check up on you and give you advice on what your issues may be at the time and are always there to give you suggestions. The program does involve time and patience. It isn’t going to happen overnight but with guidance and effort you will get there. I had to make changes and some I was hesitant to do but I did them anyways. Have faith as they know what they are talking about. If you are looking for some help in getting quality sleep, I do recommend this program. I found it very helpful and am glad that I took the time to do it. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Having a human coach convinced me to join!!

I have been having poor sleep quality for nearly two years since going through a divorce.
