There are a few recommendations I would like to make, however, it’s a great app all together.
The saved items file should have files inside the file as well to separate and organize items for quick and easy access.
Also, the a quite a bit of repeats when make random events and other random things, although, the generator still helps with improv.

I have really enjoyed using GameMastersToolkit5e and it has saved me from a few awkward moments at my table, but I have realized that it has something missing from the quick shops. Their names! I know that it provides an NPC to run the shop who has a name, but the generator does not provide a names for the shop itself. I would otherwise absolutely give this generator a 5 star review as it is very helpful in other areas.

I have tried dozens of other apps, with a decent handful of them that I use to DM my sessions. However, I have never seen such a versatile tool as this one. There’s all the features I want, like music, treasure hoard generators, dice sims, and random NPC’s. Other than that though, there’s a whole lot of options for stuff I didn’t even know I wanted or needed until now. Like an overview of a party currently, a magic items generator, some puzzle options, quest generators, and a ton of other handy stuff. Personally, my favorite has to be the random events, that’s includes a large variety of potentially interesting scenarios for my exploration-based campaign. There’s a few things I think should definitely be added in some way, such as maybe an initiative count, and being able to keep track of my player’s spells as well as spell slots would for some be unnecessary, but honestly it would stoping some cheating and maybe give me a better chance to incorporate the players functions into the campaign. All in all very useful though, really helps!

The various generators in GameMastersToolkit5e are outstanding, and the atmospheric sounds and music section is mind blowing and appreciated especially on mobile devices. I can use multiple apps at once with this and still maintain the immersion of my game without music pausing and interrupting. One request id have for GameMastersToolkit5e is the option to create content for each generation category and the option to save these as ‘hombrewed’ content.

GameMastersToolkit5e has just about EVERYTHING you could ask for to not just run a session, but a hole homebrew sandbox campaign!
Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the premium version. A little bit of time spent prepping and or running sessions with it and you'll find yourself inspired to add your own puzzles, mini games, and items!

Almost everything generated is unique and one of a kind I love just sitting down and zoning out just generating things and then planning my sessions around them it makes things so easy! But the variety is villains is a bit small but villains are more fun if you make them your self!

GameMastersToolkit5e has seriously changed the way I plan and how long it takes me to plan.

I spend a significant amount of time trying to create characters and loot on the fly. I try to keep it exciting for my players but it can be hard after so long. GameMastersToolkit5e is a lifesaver. Need loot? Click and you have them. Need a protagonist? Click and bam. Get it.

Useful app with a ton of content. Generators offer a good amount of detail and cover more than other apps I’ve tried. The layout is easy to understand and there are some well thought out features such as the ability to save generated items for use during gameplay. Also the page of sound effects was a nice touch. Great work!

This is the ultimate DM tool. You can literally do everything you need to as a DM except actually creating the maps. It add so much to the game, and allows you to deal with players who think outside the box or go “off script” at a moment’s notice. I cannot recommend this enough. I have been playing D&D and other RPGs for over 35 years, and I have not found a better tool to help the game.

GameMastersToolkit5e has almost everything you could ever need/want for running a game. However I wish there were more race options for npc’s and a filter for generating any sort of content. That way when you have something certain in mind you can filter in the things you want and let GameMastersToolkit5e fill in the rest of the blanks. Other than that it’s a great app!

This is one of the most impressive dnd generator apps I have ever seen, it has anything a panicking dm needs to save an encounter they weren’t prepared for or a parties weird change of direction or pace. Everything is well explained and a good baseline is given even for explaining to the characters what they are seeing. One feature I’d really appreciate being added is when generating a monster, if a type option could also be given. For example say I’m in the woods and know I want a beast but don’t know which one I should do, I can get one. Say my players stepped into a fairy circle by accident, and I know I want them to find a level 3 fae. It would be convenient but I still really like GameMastersToolkit5e cause it really just does everything you could want.

Out of all the apps and websites for GMs I’ve seen this is without a doubt the best. It has quick generators with really interesting things. It has very in depth generators for encounters, npcs, and cities. It even has a list of mini games! I’ve never seen so many mini game and it’s always something I’ve wanted to try doing at the table. I absolutely recommend installing GameMastersToolkit5e, if you’re a GM like me you won’t regret it.

For the things i make in the quick generator for shops I would like to either be able to rename them or have something that shows which one is which. I have 6 shops saved from the quick generator and i can only find the one i’m looking for by pressing through and finding it. Otherwise the generation is amazing and saves time trying to come up with names and all sorts of other things!!

GameMastersToolkit5e literally has every DM tool I could think of that I needed and even the sound board is great with premixed sounds for almost every situation plus I have never seen in game mini games for characters to play but GameMastersToolkit5e has quite a few plus for only .99 cents you can upgrade to the premium version to add your own stuff and from my experience that’s the cheapest premium upgrade of any DM tools app I have ever seen

This helps out so much. It helps you fill in pieces that normally would take us a good amount of time and planning. For myself it allows me to think more on the adventure continuing! Try it out! There’s a one time fee of 99¢ (varies on what country you live in) and all your content is saved in one app. There is a randomizer for basically anything. You also have the option to create from a blank asset. Check it out!

I’ve been using GameMastersToolkit5e for about a year now to create and keep track of a D&D campaign I’m building. You can add your own monsters, weapons, you name it. If you can’t think of anything, you can generate something at random for inspiration. There’s ambient sounds, a dice roller, initiative tracker, too much to list. I just can’t believe how useful GameMastersToolkit5e has been in helping create my own story. I’m looking forward to more updates if any come but otherwise this is the perfect app for a Dungeon Master.

Lovely work. Very useful without being a copy of the DMG; the names that are generated are some of the best I’ve seen, and the situations that are provided have enough meat to them to be reliable in a pinch while still fitting into any world. The audio is an EXCELLENT addition, as is the ability to save any generator results you particularly like.

I would like to see the ability to randomly generate enemy NPCs with stats (i.e. “CR 3 Thief/Caster/Cultist”) as well as the ability to add my own puzzles and riddles for later reference. But otherwise? Absolutely no qualms. Glad I found this on Reddit.

I am not one that usually reviews apps, but after using GameMastersToolkit5e for some idea creation in a game I’m running, I felt I had to. The creators of GameMastersToolkit5e are obviously game masters themselves and took the time to develop a simple single use point for any random roll tables you could possibly need with a simple and easy to use interface! I am blown away with how well this works. Great job to the dev team for this! I look forward to any future additions you make to this! I now use this as a daily tool for developing content for my games!

GameMastersToolkit5e is wonderful for generating new ideas! I’ve thrown together cities, quests, dungeons, all from this handy app. It’s so easy to use and customize, and it’s very affordably priced for the pro version!

My only feature request would be some sort of syncing across my account. I have GameMastersToolkit5e on my iPad for when I’m DMing, but if I have an idea while I’m not at home, putting it in GameMastersToolkit5e on my phone won’t sync to the iPad, so I have to go copy it down later. It would be awesome to have it save to a cloud account so I could access it from all my devices!

I have already found all the content available here to be immensely beneficial. I think the only thing that could make it better is the ability to have an encounter portion with your party to help the DM track that. But truly great app and well worth the download.
