I loved the game. Played it all the time. One day I open WingsofHeroes and all my info is gone and it created a new account for me. I contacted customer service 2.5 months ago and they don’t respond for up to a couple days and none of them really care to find my old account. Wouldn’t be a big deal if I hadn’t spent hundreds of dollars over a year in the game (which is not typical for me, I just really like the game). After dealing with customer service for 2.5 months they finally just told me to contact Apple for a refund because they aren’t willing to dig in and find my account or even credit my new account with the $500 in purchases I had made. I sent them my receipts of purchases which have dates and transaction numbers tied to them. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Let me be clear, I like the gameplay in this game. It’s fun. But there are two fatal flaws that have me deleting the game in frustration. First, I get login errors during startup - these can be canceled for a while, but after about a week on average the game just stalls on startup (during login) and you cannot proceed. The only remedy seems to be to delete and reinstall the game. After about 50 reinstalls, I’m done. Sent messages to the devs, and they’re telling me me to try a different internet connection - no questions about connection type, speed, error message, error log files, OS version, &c, anything they could use to diagnose a problem, and so I have to conclude that they have no interest or intention of diagnosing or fixing the problem. Secondly, every time they update the game, they make it harder and harder to progress in the game. New planes or plane upgrades that used to take hours or days are now entirely out of reach. To progress, you have to play their special events, watch for specials, or pay outrageous amounts of actual money. I’m willing ( and have) thrown a few bucks their way, but costs for a single plane, in its completely basic non-upgraded and so useless state, of almost $100? For a game on your phone? If you want anything new you have to stop playing the game and start gaming the play. No thanks.

I hate fake reviews especially coming internally from the games developers/coders/friends. Trying to implement a more “Premium” feature and adding that you’ve spent over $125 on features in the past. The need of desperately trying say these thing to make users think thats the way to go is so “GREEDY” If you’re trying to create fake posts and responses ( being that this is at the top of the list and viewable by all users is pathetic and shows the greed) This is why this wold is filled with nothing but lies and deception all around. Let me make a suggestion....Charge the users for putting there name on the leader board pr maybe charge users for passing a level. Its funny, this review will never see the light of day and the developers will never respond to a one star negative review. Because that’s how they play this game. (DEV) Let’s write a review and the answer it as if we were an actual user. Let’s create a buzz and need for something users dont want but will build and and wait to see if those suckers will buy it. Making this game lax and people will forget this game ever existed. Just another airplane (vroom...vroom) game!

So, let me tell you what this game is like.

Initially, it’s pretty fun. You play in a 3D space with joystick control (fairly simple) and auto lock on guns. You start with a biplane (Fury MK2) and it has upgradable components such as guns, armor, etc. After that you get access to another biplane. It’s a bit better, upgradable etc. After the second plane though, the games progress takes a nose dive.

Bit of context: there are 2 types of currencies…all that’s important is that there’s a standard and premium currency. Each battle you earn around 500-1k of the standard currency. But after the second plane, the next one either costs premium currency or around 250,000k of standard, which is a ridiculous number of battles. So either you pay your way to a new plane (which everyone seems to have) or grind for h o u r s (more like days) to get to the second stage of the game (out of like 10 stages).

Do with that what you will, but personally, it’s too much grinding for a mediocre game, so I deleted it.

TL:DR: Gameplay is mid, progress is hella grindy (like months of constant play grindy) after stage 2/10

Actual gameplay isn’t too bad, but if you really get into it, they will constantly alter the end goal. They have repeatedly changed the systems and processes in place for obtaining new items. Scoring and gameplay rewards are a joke. There are now 5 different forms of “currency” used and you will never have enough of what you need. You collect blueprints to obtain a plane, plane parts to enable upgrades, but after to you have enough parts you still need to buy the parts with silver. Then there are tokens for the higher level upgrades, but those also require the corresponding parts. It’s all a scheme to always leave you short. Finally, there’s gold used to open crates or obtain other types of items. But today, they raised the prices on crates x5. So the gold I’ve collected and bought (with real money) just lost 80% of its purchasing power. That’s theft. Before spending $ on game gold, I weigh “what does this get me in the game?… what value do I place on it?…” When I decided to drop real money, I didn’t anticipate my $20 to now acquire the same amount of things as $4 would previously.

I have played this game everyday through many updates, dating back years. In the beginning g, the game rewarded one’s play with achievements that we could use to buy and update what parts and planes we wanted. That was all taken away. They have replaced with giving random parts that are forced and also already owned. Rewards were decreased as well; all in efforts to sell and force one to buy resources for what one already owns. While making money was ok and expected, the company took away the games fun. Worse, I had 3 new charges of upgrades that I had not authorized. I wrote the company and the automated reply was they could not credit back so contact someone else and they apologized for the charges. Very bottom line; The company’s effort to make more money has destroyed the games incentive to play and enjoy playing the game. What a shame!

This was an awesome game until the latest update. You can barely earn any coins to buy new planes or upgrade your existing planes. The battle crates take many hours to open for very little reward. Then if you win 5 matches the slots are full. Any game you play after that you don’t get much if any silver. I believe this is a classic case of developer greed. Trying to force the players to spend money if they want to advance! The in game costs are outrageously high. I will not pay that much for a game! Don’t bother downloading this game unless you are prepared to fork over a lot of money or spend many many hours playing just to upgrade! The developers response's to feedback in WingsofHeroes and on WingsofHeroes Store is very generic!

This game has always been a decent bit of quick fun to play as any mobile game should be, so I give it credit there. I also welcome the new changes given with the update, except for the fact that the tiered aircraft system has made matchmaking more unbalanced, and gives much slower progression towards unlocking new planes.

Basically with the old model, one could grind enough XP, silver and gold to unlock and upgrade an aircraft. But with the new update, you are given tokens that are used to upgrade a plane in a very limited quantity, which effectively make the game pay to win. The blueprints that are required to even unlock aircraft are very scarce. For reference, I play about an hour each day, so it’s pretty unfulfilling to earn such little reward for what I consider a decent amount effort.

I can only hope the developers take note and give us players what we want; a fluid, obtainable progression system through existing and new aircraft.

This game started out very well balanced. I really enjoyed playing for hours on end in fair games where I either won or lost and gained silver points accordingly and gold occasionally.

However, the developers have clearly made it almost impossible to win any points and have an extremely unbalanced point and gameplay system. You will get to a point where it is impossible to win. Despite the opposing players appearing to have normal player names, they are all actually AI bots that become overpowered every other game to make sure you lose.

These bots will destroy you in an instant, the jiggle around to make it impossible to lock onto to them but they’ll lock onto you with no problem. This game had a lot of potential but heed the warning from other players here, you’ll be wasting your time downloading this game!

I like the game for the game play and graphics maybe needs a new mode and a few more maps or things to do to unlock new planes. But the cost and the ways to get new planes I’m sorry makes me not want to play. Not that this will e even looked at but I’m sorry ranking up should get you new planes not having to pay for gold or play 1 year to get a plane yi want I’m sorry it’s killing the game I went from playing daily to play 1-2 times a week if that because I’ll never get another plane unlocked it’s a trash system and shame on the devs for making it that way.

- Make a cockpit view - Make guns sound more realistic - A lot of low budget graphics - Add more plane options as well as options to choose what design & color of the planes. - Controls are very slow, turning & speed. - make it easier to access the ww2 planes rather then being stuck with the old double wing planes. Makes me not want to play bc it’s so far away in levels & slow progress to reach the levels. The game took a lot from war wings, I can definitely see the resemblance. So if that much is accessible, then why not go the whole 9 yards & exactly replicate the original perfect amazing dog fighting game (War Wings) wish they never took it off WingsofHeroes Store 😭💔

Actually the whole upgrading system is awful. In order to obtain anything, it has to be through crates which can only be obtained with gold or by winning games. If the crates are obtained by winning games they take anywhere between 3-24 hours to open. Why? The crates you receive are also random and more times than not they are silver crates which only include silver and upgradeable plane parts. Plane blueprints (used for getting new planes) are only found in higher level crates which take longer than 3 hours to open. You can also only have 4 crates at a time. It’s just a pipeline to get you to spend real money on gold with low in game value. And you’re buying crates with that gold and what you get in those crates is never guaranteed to be something you need or want. If you have a gambling addiction this is great game for you. Seriously though, spend your time with you family and friends, this game inevitably leaves you constantly feeling like you’re coming up short. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

While the actual game play is entertaining, the game is designed to increase profits. While that is understandable there is a line and these folks have crossed it. Every change they make reduces playability. Things constantly cost more. To upgrade a plane requires blue prints, parts, and silver. If you have parts you don’t have blueprints when you finally get both you don’t have enough silver. I have been playing for months and had been spending real money to facilitate upgrades etc. I no longer spend real money in this game. I mainly fly tier2 planes sometimes including a tier 1 in the hangar. I am faced with tier 3 and occasionally tier 4 aircraft. Now they have introduced an FW 189 that can be purchased. When one appears on the screen it fills most of the field of view blocking your abilities to see enemy aircraft, it moves slow and tumbles usually followed by multiple head on attacks by multiple planes. Since there is no way to interact with allied planes it is impossible to coordinate attacks and strategies yet enemy planes do it all the time. Don’t waste your money on this ripoff.

With each update, the game moves farther away from a fun well rounded WWII plane game. The developers haven’t figured out how to develop the game in a manner that players will want to spend money on the game. Everything they are trying to sell is too expensive. They should reduce price, and try to make it up in volume. They have daily challenges that are basically over once they start, as guys have astronomical scores, and have basically won minutes into a 24 or 48 hr event. They add stuff to the game, like spinning a wheel to win something, where a spin is expensive, and the win is minimal. It’s noted that when everyone gets a free spin, the payout is the same, so it’s not a spin of chance, the payouts are predetermined. They started rewarding paint skins to make some planes unique, but in my instance, the paint skin I won was for a tier 1 plane I do not fly. If they make various color skins for ALL planes and sold them cheap, everyone would be looking to make their plane unique. They just need to put more thought into the direction they want to go in

Game plays well. But it is rigged. Been playing this game for years and was quite accomplished. Then one day I go to play and my whole account was missing. Support said they had no record of me. So I start over. Get back up to level 80 pretty quickly. Now mind you I do not add money to this game. I go to play one day and once again my whole account is missing…. So I deleted the game. Now, a year later I redownload the game. And it has been completely setup for you to pay them money to upgrade. You cannot be competitive in this game unless you play with minimum of 4 planes. The problem is, they have made the game so the only way to possibly play with four or five planes is to pay for it. Everyone else playing the game who has four or five planes is purchasing them with cash. The only way to achieve a fourth is to play for probably a solid month before their algorithm will let you achieve a fourth plane. And I don’t know about you guys, but it’s extremely frustrating playing against people that have more planes, better planes and still manage to almost beat them. It is designed to frustrate you and make you give them your heart earned money. DO NOT download this game unless you want to be extremely frustrated or you’re willing to spend money on a free game All that being said, unfortunately, the game does play really well it’s a shame that the developers are a bunch of crooks. It used to be a really nice app.

For persons that don’t understand what WEP stands for there is no explanation. There is no suggestions on controlling planes and how to come about to find passing planes. how do you stop the guns from overheating, by purchasing ammunition, etc. Too many unexplained actions. It is almost a good game, but I don’t like purchasing items that have no explanation of use. ie, how do you stop the guns from overheating, by purchasing ammunition, etc. Too many unexplained actions.

I’ve been playing this game since May 2023 and it was so fun, even addictive. Objectives were fun, obtainable, and still to this day the graphics and gameplay is great! BUT… The objectives are 3/4 of the time impossible to achieve, spending a lot of real money is the only way to make real progress! I don’t find dropping a few bucks a week but when it takes over $100 a week to play and actually make progress or tasks are 100% impossible to meet, it becomes work, not a past-time to enjoy! Since early September 2023 the developers are losing their minds and killing this game. And it’s also obvious that some players have zero lives and spend hundreds of dollars a month to have loaded amounts of game currency. Come on Rortos, take action of watch it perish..

This is your classic pay to win app. The action is ok-ish, but to modify any plane to the 3rd (max) tier you have to collect or purchase a lot of silver and gold and tokens and other things. The winnings per match are so meager that you have to constantly play just to build up any bank, or you can purchase the resources needed. They are expensive. Once the 2 free planes you get make it to Tier 3, thats when the pay to win kicks in. You either pay them some money to unlock better planes, or this happens. After about a week of daily play, and not being able to shoot down a single plane. Basically getting shot down in the first 15 seconds by stronger amd faster planes, the game is not a fun experience any longer. Deleted.

Start by only allowing your hanger tier be the highest tier available to fight against. Meaning matches will be even by having only tier 2 go against other tier 2’s instead of tier 1 and facing tier 3’s. If you have a tier 3 in your hanger it is tier 3 not a tier 2 slaughter fest and if you have a tier 2 in with tier 1 your vs matches are tier 2 not slaughter the tier 1’s.

This will make matches even and make people want to play your game more and have to learn how to operate their aircraft’s to better suit the players and the pay to win players. Otherwise all you are creating is a game that will die fast and make very little money for you and your developers and thus making it so your rating drops more and other games with better match up options take you out. More like mech arena not war robots. More Homeworld instead of Eve.

Playing gives better rewards as you are doing. Playing better grants better rewards to buy. Buying your way and overpowering your opponent with lower hanger tiers does nothing but give bullies better abilities without having morales.

I’ve been playing this for almost 9 months. Roughly an hour most days. I love the game play, even though I’m mostly playing against bots. I get it will take awhile to get enough players onboard. But the in-game economy has been tinkered with SO much the game is now at a standstill. If you don’t want to pay to advance, you might as well just enjoy where you’re at, because all the game time and all the skill in the world won’t get you anywhere. I know they’ve got to make money, but you’ve also got to build enough players to make it a live game. You won’t do that with the jacked up game economy. Just go back to what it was two months ago and it will be fine. Even with the stupid tokens and parts we can’t use, and blueprints (all of which which we hate). Reward consistent game play and allow for gold to bypass time requirements. That will get you the $ you need and the players you need.

This game is incredibly fun in spurts and has so so much potential, but unfortunately it fits with many of the other Pay-to-Play models: if you don’t come out of pocket for upgrades (but choose to wait to earn them), you’ll never advance. We’re talking MONTHS of consistently playing to advance just a few levels.

But what’s most disappointing is the game algorithm for online matchplay. Even if you spend some money to upgrade, you will still find it nearly impossible to win games because you’ll be frequently handicapped by inadequate bot/computer teammates who won’t contribute at all (literally 0-0). You can shoot down 10 enemy planes a game, or destroy 3+ objectives, and still get slaughtered because the other 4 computer teammates will just fly in circles and the “enemies” will prevail… all meaning, you either spend money to upgrade, or strap in for a long session earning 300 coins at a time (FYI - you need 18,000 to upgrade a single plane part in some cases. Do the math yourself).

Super frustrating because I really enjoy this game, but its multiplayer system is either horribly underdeveloped or an outright con to constantly try to get you to part with your money.

Been playing this game for a while now and it started off absolutely amazing! I enjoyed playing it and the rewards/chests for winning were plentiful. Now, not so much! The rewards/chests have been reduced to almost worthless levels, it’s ridiculous! 99% of the parts I get aren’t even for any of the planes I’m using, which makes trying to upgrade any of my planes take forever! the silver rewards are pretty bad as well. The worst part has become the battles, they have just become stupid! The bot planes are ridiculous! They’re abilities must be cranked up to maximum! When I am shooting at one of them it takes a minimum of three+ reloads before anything happens, and then they will just turn on a dime and I can’t even think about chasing them because my plane is like a tugboat! and then one just magically appears behind, who wasn’t there two seconds before that when I looked at the radar, and shoots me down with what seems like two freaking bullets! Sorry that’s just stupid! I’ve watched control points on the radar map change from blue to red with no enemy planes even remotely close to it! Really! Sorry I just feel like it’s really gone down hill and hope this triggers some changes, I don’t want to sound like I feel that I need to win every time, that’s not it at all, but at least make it more realistic when it comes to battling.

A decent game that has far more potential than anything else. The I-15 WWI biplane is the only plane that flies remotely similar to real life. All of the WW2 planes are forced to turn so slow that they are incredibly irritating to fly. The trade off is supposed to be increased speed. But unfortunately, the implementation is so poor it doesn’t work. The only benefit is essentially higher DPS. This is due to the fact that climbing drains your speed so quickly that you can’t take advantage of the higher speed. Bombers are very armored and take a long time to kill. Which wouldn’t be an issue, except for the fact that they are also very strong. I find myself dying more to them than enemy fighters. The range of their guns coupled with the inability to climb efficiently whatsoever means they will often times try to chase you down. Until this gets addressed, the game is pretty boring. You have basically fighters and armored fighters with bombs. This obviously makes not a whole lot of sense. I have no issue with their health, but they should be more reliant on their friendly fighters to escort them. The lock on mechanic means if you know what you’re doing you’ll routinely get 7-10 kills a match. There is no way to evade shots. You simply have to avoid getting an enemy on your six. All in all, the game is fun for a few hours. But then you get pretty frustrated with the many different flaws. 5.5/10

It’s a really good game honestly but just some fixes that’d make it better. For starters a ton of the prices of planes is way expensive in gold. By the time you get the plane it’s already a plane that’s not good enough compared to people buying gold. I don’t like spending money on games but this has kinda irritated me and I don’t play often because of it. Another thing is using flaps and landing gear. It’d be kinda nice to have more control of the plane and different game modes. Other than that it’s a really good game and I will keep playing and look forward to other updates you come up with.

Graphics are good. Flight response ok. But upgrades are costly. Then when you rank to the next level, you have to pay for the planes you unlock. What’s the point of unlocking if you have to pay anyway? Struggled with deleting this game because I did like it, but it’s GONE!

After this review posted I was impressed that the developer reached out to me about this review. They were looking for feedback and a reconsideration. They even provided a link to contact them. I wanted to do that before considering a rewrite . However, to my dismay, the link provided did not work. So I must stand by my initial commentary.

This was a fun game until I could no longer compete in battle without BUYING the unlocked upgrades that I earned. Rewards for winning were sparse and valued so low that you could easily outperform the reward finding yourself out gunned in battle by those who probably purchased their upgrades in frustration like I almost did. Don’t get me wrong, I paid for options that couldn’t be earned but this game almost forced you to buy if you want to upgrade.

As I wait for the status of my previous account, I have started a new account to see what goesOn.
Sadly, despite the numerous reviews expressing the same deficiencies, Rortos chooses to repeatedly respond with a comment that sounds like all players need is a little counseling and they will realize the beauty of the game.
Yes, Rortos, it IS a beautiful game. But just as the gingerbread house was beautiful in HANZEL & GRETEL, the problem lies in the management of the place and the final objective. You do Not have to give everything away, but making people pay THREE TIMES for the same plane severely limits your customer base. When AOL was thriving , Air Warriors had Five (5) theaters running simultaneously, each with a capacity of 525 players. And there were MANY TIMES I had to wait to get in one of them to play! You could play for free in the learning area, and many upgrades were available. When you paid for a new plane you got the whole plane! No parts, then blueprints, etc . and no waiting days to get all the pieces needed. When a customer wants to buy you sell him the item right then! Otherwise the buying impulse dissipates . That is sales and marketing 101(b).
So, The masses of accounts that have written in constructive criticism reply with, :”When YOU are ready to step up and have happy players AND a more lucrative business, we are here to help you.” Just contact us and we will explain ro you.

Cool game, definitely enjoy playing but not a fan of having to pay for in game currency to get a different aircraft.

Also not a fan of upgrading equipment and having to wait until 2 hours later to use whatever upgrade or to make another upgrade.

I understand it’s a free game, but unless you’re stubborn or cheap, you’re not going to make ground in this game without spending money.

This game is fun there is no doubt about that! It used to be a lot more fun and less complicated to understand point system for damage done. It’s nearly impossible to complete a plain now because parts are handed out randomly and the the expense to upgrade is enormous. I’ve owned plains for over a year on this game that are less then 50% complete because the parts just don’t come for those plains. Even when you max out and complete a plain you still get parts awarded to you for those plains. That makes the award useless. Victory crates are awarded after a win that can’t be opened without waiting hours. It’s not a true victory crate if you have to wait 24 hours to open it! There no real reward for playing the game for hours on end. It’s a fun game like I said but those of you that have played the game in the past know that it was much more addictive in the past.

You need to get the hang of it. Tiny targets but I just started playing, maybe there’s a way around that. But flight is realistic and you can do a complete roll. So I’ve been playing for about a week. I like the ability to move the fighter around that’s mostly realistic. However you can spend all your money buying parts and they’re distributed to numerous different aircraft instead of going to a particular aircraft where you wanted them. Very frustrating! So you might save up 1000 gold bars (or spend $20) only to buy a parts crate and none of them will go to the airplane you want them to go to. Also you can destroy all the opponents in your battle but if you have a bunch of do-nothings on your team you’ll still lose the battle. Win and get get 25 trophies, lose and get 70 trophies deducted from you (thanks to the do-nothings). Spin your wheels with a 3-1 win loss ratio. So for players to hang around longer, and be encouraged to spend more $$, these things need to be fixed.

This game is very enjoyable, it’s exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately the price structure is crazy! it takes a long time to level up, and when you do you need to buy gold coins to actually afford the new airplanes. I spent upwards of $20 on coins thus far, which I’m fine doing, but my current level requires another $20 of coins for one plane! And the next plane looks like it’ll be $30!

Honestly that much money is just a rip off for an iOS game, sadly this will likely be my last week playing, as I won’t be able to be competitive against the other players without additional funds contributed.

For context, I am less than half way through the game, at this rate it could easily cost $500+ for all the planes. No thank you, I’ll go buy a real plane haha

A decent start for a multiplayer warbird sim. Simplified flight model is appropriate for tablet devices. If you want rudder pedals and joystick, just play a PC sim. So far I can do basic upgrades without spending real cash; I do get enough in-game rewards to keep me happy for now. There is never an excuse for a game accessing our personal information, however, and this is always a sign of a poorly run company. If you get my info to sell, then I should not ever have to pay a single cent for the game. Anyway, back to game review. Controls are pretty good, not too many glitches for me so far, have not seen warping, hit registration is good, lead-computer gun site is very nice. Would like to see even free players be able to change some colors on their planes, particularly for squadrons. FYI to developers, some folks playing this might have been playing online flight sims for about 35 years and have a lot of experience they are sharing. Just be aware of that.

Corrective criticism first: when I first got WingsofHeroes it was awesome, loved leveling up and playing, getting new planes and upgrading them. It was easy and worth playing to get the upgrades, but now since WingsofHeroes updated to blueprints, plane parts etc they have made it pretty much impossible to do any upgrades to any planes or move to the next tier of planes without spending lots of real money to get them. I have also noticed if you don’t use the special abilities such as the quick turns or speed boost they disappear after a little bit. It would be nice to see an easier way to get upgrades and planes without spending real money.

Other than that, the graphics playing style and overall game in my book gets at least 4 stars. I get to play the game here and there and get my daily achievements etc. I would recommend it and have.

I enjoy the game quite a bit. It is a stress reliever for sure. I haven’t done to badly with it. One of the things they might consider changing, is the accumulation of plane parts, which are specific to individual planes. You need them to upgrade your plane to its full potential, but even when a plane is at 100%, you still get parts for that plane along the way (which are unusable for anything). I wish there was a way you could convert those useless parts into either silver, gold, or plane parts you could use on another plane that is incomplete. Or maybe a player could accumulate plane parts at the same rate, but they go to single plane part reservoir to be used on what ever plane they wish. Just a thought.

I don’t spend a lot of money on apps. This is just like a dogfighting game that disappeared a few years ago. The difference with this one is that upgrading planes and getting better ones take forever. Plus when you can upgrade the planes you get small levels of improvement for a large payment of silver. Very frustrating. Today I shot down 10 planes in one match and still lost. It needs to do a better job of matching up teams. I don’t know if some are bots. I went from 62% winning to 49% today because I was put with terrible pilots all day. I’m not going to spend a ton of money on this because it seems you don’t get much for your money. The game play itself is very good. We need to get more bang for the buck if yall want us to spend money.

As a long time player, I have seen the improvement in this game, from performance to graphics, it has gone from OK to very good. I love that you can continue playing without ads, you don’t run out of fuel, time etc. You can continue in battles as long as other players are available. The only detriment is the changing of planes for a new formation is a bit of a pain. Also, I’m not a big fan of the new system of using blueprints and parts to upgrade your planes. These items must be won in battle and you need to use gold to get certain parts/blueprints, gold can be won or purchased.

Game is pretty good as I play every day. One of the best plane games out there. Was a lot better about a year ago when it comes to in game rewards and boosters. To counter that, the bugs and issues have been worked out resulting in game play being so much better. Would like to see the chest times be shortened. 24 hours for some of the chests is a bit much. Daily rewards aren’t bad… but to get the highest you definitely got to be making in game purchases. Wish it wasn’t so in game purchase driven. For higher tiered planes, there should be higher tiered rewards. Making plane upgrades is just about impossible. For mission achievements I’d like to see a push to revamp. I have maxed out all achievements and would like to see this area of the game be caught up. I do like the weekend rewards that is tied to your squad. It is nice to talk to others who play. Would be cool to see a squad game put in place.

This is a decent game to play as a time killer….but that’s it. They constantly update it but not for the better IMO. (EDIT: The newest update underscores the Dev’s clear desire to slow down a player’s advancement in exchange for the increased to play & pay).

For example, I reached the maximum pilot ranking when it first dropped….then they update it and you start your ranking over at a lower point. It’s happened at least 3 times in the past 6 months. This affects your rewards because lower rank equals lower rewards forcing you to either play a bunch more to rank up or pay to play (to upgrade planes). I recommend using an iPad so it’s easier to fly and see targets or enemy aircraft. Like all of these type of games you can spend $$ if you want but now I play for fun so that’s not my thing.

Quick battles and a more intuitive control system than playing on a console. Progression is slower than expected though and planes are limited. Edit: After the new changes, games have become longer, requiring more kills to end it, imo, this is not an improvement. As well, the progression and upgrade system has been changed and it’s even slower and more tedious than before. A serious downgrade to the game. I wouldn’t invest my time in it as it’ to going to last much longer.

First the bad news, I’m really disappointed you didn’t credit my gold count back after I accidentally bought silver with my gold. The interface was quick to make it happen and not particularly clear about how the transaction would work. I’d like the gold that I’ve won from playing just about every day for quite a while now. As far as game play goes, I enjoy the flight sim and the ww2 aircraft. The back grounds are pretty nice and I feel the controls are nicely reactive and pretty seamlessly integrated with the aircraft. It would be nice to see a wider variety or US aircraft specifically. Hellcats, Thunderbolts, Aircobras, Corsairs, and especially the P-51D Mustangs as well as any of our bombers. As far as the Axis goes, where’s the Fockewulf 190 and the Me210 jet? Overall an entertaining play, but I think you guys could still up your game as far as customer service, and yet I’m still playing 🤔😅😂 so you must be doing something right. Give me some more planes earlier, lemme swap my silver back for my gold and keep up the good work, thanks.

I enjoyed the game very much but as all games in the beginning they need some tweaks and fixes. after a while of playing the game, the upgrades cost a lot almost to the point where the game has to be constantly played to upgrade planes and keep up with other players.
Another thing that they could add, is a party system, a lot of matches I’ve played have a lot of afk people or bots by the looks of it. At times I’ll be the only person who does any damage or anything at all. The last thing think would be nice to add is some more game modes like FFA dogfight, FFA conquers, and 1v1 maybe even 2v2. But as I said before the game is still in its early stages and has great potential to becoming a great mobile game.

Honestly there is not too much to this game, that’s what makes it great. No annoying pop up ads, which is a must for me. There is not a whole lot to the game, three modes that take some getting used to. It’s not too incredibly hard to get better planes. If you want a simple airplane game, this is it. If you want intense story lines, hundreds of unlockable champions, and a king that always gets himself in a pickle, this is not it.

I downloaded this game almost a year ago, and it has come a long way. Gold has become more common, planes are way more accessible, and new game modes have popped up.
However, sadly, there is not (as of September 2023), a dedicated multiplayer social function (such as an in-game chat, squadrons, or Discord VC sync). Most of the time I cannot determine if my teammate or opponent is a player or a bot.
Thankfully , the devs have a Discord server that they are pretty good at communicating on. Many questions have been answered, and the community is pretty good. Once squadrons have been established and worked out, this will be a truly 5-star game.

Not bad for an app game. Repetitive but enough challenge to keep it interesting. As usual, credit card players have an advantage but they seem to get moved into higher levels so there is no great disparity. Lack of team possibilities makes it a one on one match and there is little or no coordination of effort among team players. But, if you get familiar you soon learn how to approach the game with team cooperation in mind.

At first it’s pretty fun. U upgrade your low level plane get some kills but when u level up u go against high level plains that cost extreme amounts of gold. It gets frustrating when u either buy gold or go thew a few hours of playing for about 60-70 gold. The game has seariouse potential but needs more planes that cost silver and less of high end planes vs lower planes.

Great game and super fun. However, once you get to above level 40 the planes cost around 13k gold. I have been playing for almost a year now and only have 3k gold. I have barely spent any of my gold, and have focused on saving. I don’t see how I can get new and better plans without spending 50$ for 15k in gold. I have been playing with the same 5 planes now for over 4 months and it’s starting to get boring and repetitive. There is no fast way to get more gold so either you spend 50$ each time you want a new plane. Or you will have to play the game for a another 3-5 years just to get enough gold for the high level airplanes. Please make the game more fun by opening more planes to be played. We shouldn’t have to spend 50$ to get new planes. Or play with the same five old planes for over 6 months.

I love playing this game, have invested $13 dollars into it, and have more than I did War Thunder and WoWP with more money. Surprisingly more fun.

There are two monetary gains, Silver, which is more accessible and used for upgrading and buying tech, with Gold used for the slots and missions in the game, with more reserved gains (Like both WT and WoWP). It also has a "VIP" thing, for subscriptions, and it increases rate of gains.

The game is fun and basic, early on it will give you a lock on for your shots, but a later gamemode (Domination - Ace) allows you to get more silver off of the rounds, with the tradeoff of lockons (you manually lead shots). I now exclusively play this gamemode as it makes early round mid-tier bombing so much more easy.

One thing I would like is social options, and some more modes maybe. I would enjoy a TDF (Team Dogfight) - Ace variant.

This is a great game, and I want you to keep developing the game. one thing I find problematic is the balancing. Maybe tweak up gunfire strength?

Love the game. I’m a veteran War Wings player and this is the closest game related to that one. My only complaint is some are just too expensive! I’ll keep playing but I just can’t justify spending $100 to buy a plane!!! I’m at level 106 working towards the BF-109E but I don’t think I will be able to afford it! We don’t earn gold on matches won which is odd. I’m the top player with most kills in a good majority of my matches but being the Ace does not get rewarded?! If we were able to win some gold to buy planes or planes could be earned with highest kills in each match. Thanks for your time

The game is so much fun but it could be so much more. The planes are intuitive and easy to fly. Each one has its strengths and weaknesses. The balancing of the game against other opponents makes it even more fun. Sometimes you are on top of the world going through kills and other times you can tell the other flyers are just flat out better than you or found a good angle to come at you. That back and forth really makes it more lively and interesting.

What it needs and why there are only 4 stars: Missions! Of some kind. Any kind. (Except escort) Something where you can play against the AI. Bombing missions. Dog fights where only certain planes are allowed. Racing. Carrier versus carrier…..
This is too good of a flying game to only really offer pvp over and over and over. No matter how good the matches are.

It’s a game that gaining momentum and they are making improvements.

Lots of planes are out of balance though. You can shoot at someone for eons and they ping you once and you’re gone. Particularly the Chaika, which is a paid only plane. A paywall would really kill the fun in this game if all the good stuff is only attainable through cash.

I’d also like to be able to play battles with friends.

Fortunately, ads are an optional thing in this game, which I probably watch more of them than if they were forced.

One bug with the game is I get challenges for fighter planes and I don’t have a fighter. Just light fighters and bombers, which for some reason don’t count.

I’d like to see this game improve and become something great. Some statistics based balance. More maps, friends, and all planes available via gold or silver.

I enjoy this game a lot. The controls are easy to use and the tutorials are helpful. I would like more control of the rudder and maybe flaps but otherwise it’s easy to fly the aircraft. The maps, targets and foliage are nicely detailed.

I would suggest adding an option for different paint schemes or insignias for the aircraft that the player could purchase. Otherwise it’s a fun game to play. Keep on improving and keep flying!

The game is good absolutely good it deserves five stars but the only problem is that it’s not exactly paid to win because you can pretty much win if you just use your plane correctly but sometimes if you do use the money you will progress faster it doesn’t make you better and eventually you will be killed by people with actual skill like I do because I have the time to actually practice game I’m pretty good overall

Hey RORTOS developers, great game here! I love playing it and I love the graphics, planes, and everything else about it. There are a few things that this game needs, such as better aircraft physics, and maybe less “pay to win”. When I say “pay to win”, I don’t fully mean it, but the in app purchases are a bit expensive for what they get you.

Again, really great game, play it every day. Keep updating it and improving it!

Free to play, there are no rewards in this game that require a purchase! This game is easy to play, and fairly simple to pick up on. In game rewards are ‘crates’ and events, with timed waiting periods for the crates and a list of missions for the events. It is nice that this game does not encourage the players to grind away at rewards. You can tell early on in an event if you will reach the next reward level. It could do with a more social aspect, like tapping a player’s name to show that player’s profile and their hangar- there is little social element right now besides chat with members of your squadron. Also an option to enter a match with the members of your squadron would be awesome. Gameplay can get redundant, and matches don’t seem very well balanced. It seems you either win with ease, or lose with a quickness.

It’s needs more graphics and don’t make everything pst to win like having a shop is good but don’t make it to pricey u also might want to make the controls more advanced instead of just a joystick maybe put like a altitude meater check out some other plane fighter games and you’ll know what i mean and maybe make online matches the bots are to easy either make them harder or online matched. Check out sky warriors the game and get some ideas from that game

Boy oh boy where do l even begin. Lebron... honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The way you drive into the paint and strike fear into your enemies eyes. Your silky smooth touch around the rim, and that gorgeous jumpshot. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so l would never have to watch you retire. You had a rough childhood, but you never gave up hope. You are even amazing off the court, you’re a great husband and father, sometimes I even call you dad. I forvever dread and weep, thinking of the day you will one day retire. I would sacrifice my own life it were the only thing that could put a smile on your beautiful face. You have given me so much joy, and heartbreak over the years. I remember when you first left clevenland and its like my heart got broken into a million pieces. But a tear still fell from my right eye when I watched you win your first ring in miami, because deep down, my glorious king deserved it.

This game is so good and the aim I love it I don’t even have to learn because I am so good at and I really love that I know how to control the aircraft was out doing a tutorial because that’s all I did when I first got the game it is so good I just really love this game this game should have an update where we can actually use ground arteries if you can add ground artillery is in this game thank you I would like ground artillery because grounds at Hillarys are useful sense you can shoot out the plans but from the ground and you and you don’t just have to use plans you can actually have an option if you want to use a ground artillery or a plane it could be useful if we could have ground artillery‘s

Unlike warwings this game doesn’t let you rejoin the fight after being sotdown or crash it was nice in the old game you wait a few seconds penalty and your controls come back now all you can do is watch other players boring !!! Mr. Mcfly I guess I miss being returned to the plane I was flying after a 15-30 second wait time for you to rejoin the battle in the same type of plane just a thought……. I don’t usually expect much out of mobile games but this one is pretty great. I like the detail and controls that aren’t overly complicated. The lack of in-game communication stinks. After communications I would love to see the addition of squadrons to join to play with others in more coordinated efforts. Over all its well done so far! DeltaKilo70

Enjoying this one very much. I could have grown faster for cash, but without spending money I’m way up in the list.

Not as wide a control system as could be, but feels better than most. Wish there was a stick and pedals option so I could play around with more aerobatics, but flies nicely.

Hoping they add the F4 Corsair to the planes list!

Still learning the game - is there a tutorial that would help me be more proficient? Also still learning how to redeem points and how the rewards system works - is there an explanation or instructions on the best way to handle the redemption process? Also is there a tutorial on how to use the Swordfish bomb sight? I really love the game and get a lot of enjoyment out of scoring points and being a team leader! Loving the game, but need to know how to use Tokens and Silver - how to I spend the Silver and Tokens I have accumulated! Update: I have advanced through several tiers and now have 18 planes. I love playing Wings of Heroes and look forward to advancing further and flying the next tier of planes. I really wish the “blueprint crate” did not have a 24 hour opening time. Once crate slots are full and you are waiting 24 hours to open a “blueprint crate” it takes away the joy of winning and having to pass up the crates you win.

I have been playing this game for about a year now and I love it. The crate system is awesome and the planes are beautiful. A few things I want to see in the future are a list for the crates(this allows the player to check different crates and stops the player from receiving a crate if it is not check. It still gives out all the crates but now you can win a battle and not get a crate because it is not checked.) 2. I would love to see more plane features like air brakes and flaps are some examples. I also would like to see the ability to land at an airport(2 for both teams) were you heal you plane and possibly swap planes without losing the ability to fly that plane again. The coding wouldn’t be that difficult as you can just take it from “airline commander”. And if landing is added it should only be allowed at your teams airport.

I downloaded WingsofHeroes because I wanted to play a war planes that I used to play a while ago so I decided to look for that game and I saw this one it’s not that game but it’s pretty close to that game it’s amazing how it controls very well I really enjoy playing this game.

This is a great and highly addictive game. You basically have WW2 airplanes that you slowly acquire and upgrade as you progress through the game. Maybe it isn’t a 100% accurate mechanically but it’s a GAME that doesn’t require a lot of $ (I haven’t spent any) minimal adds unless you want free upgrades and it’s fun
I can see some players trying to advance to quickly and flying planes that haven’t been upgraded enough that are easy targets Which for them could be frustrating but for me an extra kill 👍. Sure there are things to be tweaked but the developers have done a great job and are constantly try to improve it Some things are good some not so much but overall a great game. Don’t let the whiners deter you from playing , they obviously can’t figure it out

Please add flaps and spoilers so that you have full control you can do something like Air Fighters where it’s a switching between screens. Also it’d be nice to be able to chat with your team and maybe add friends lists and clans it’d be more but you could double premium or make that a stand alone feature I buy premium and would gladly spend more to be able to chat with people and get into games with friends also maybe ace dog fight as well as ace domination and maybe eventually 1v1 with the ability to round Robin on that where people could be in there and watch the fight? I’d definitely pay for that! Please add some more features and either add back gold for 1st place or lower the gold prices or plane prices I’ve spent $125 USD and would have no problem paying more if you add some features!

I think more planes needed to be added and more one plane should be unlocked every level. It takes too long to go ten levels just to get to a new plane. People’s attention span isn’t that long. There are so many war birds out there that can be unlocked even experimental planes.
Color options should be available to personalize your plane. For example the option to paint a Shark face on the P-40 War Hawk should be an option or If I want to paint my plane all black.
Some plane favorites I’d like to see are Corsairs, P-51 mustangs, mosquito, ect!

This is a fun game that is set up for eben those with no flight experience to handle. If possible it would be nice to have rudder control and missions that include landing and take off. Of course if that were to happen don’t forget adding flaps gear retraction. You all did a fair job with the flt physics. It would be nice to be able to see and sight in on the actual aircraft instead of the name and deflection ring. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your great game. I’m not sure I’d call this game a Sim, because it’s a little more arcade than that. However, sometimes that’s exactly what I want. I find myself tossing a couple bucks at it here and there to speed things up just a little, but for the most part the pace to earn things is pretty good.

I really like this game and will probably play it until I unlock everything. They are still developing more content as well, which is always welcome. Keep up the good work$

I have been playing this for just about some months and it is great game with planes and design but I think it need more like modes may be protecting planes instead of target on the ground and sea or something like that you can think by yourself. Away from that I am having troubles with logging into the account it keep saying logging in and I have to delete and re install every time and it’s quite annoying. The crate I suggest you to lower the time a bit and maybe have 5 slot because each need about some hours and each match is quite short. What about needing to kill all the enemy instead of just enough to your target because the player with their plane which didn’t get killed will be kind of annoying. The graphics is not really important but maybe you can add something. Also lower the price of crate because I am playing in normal way so I’m not putting money inside even I can get crate by doing mission but it take too long mấy be lower about 100 gold for the first crate 200 second and 300 last

I’ve been enjoying this game. I’ve always chosen my planes wisely and with all the free gold and reward structure I haven’t spent a cent. Been playing a couple of months and am now trying to decide between the he 112 and the su2. Might just wait for the yak. My 5 planes are a5m4 Junkers I16 P36a Sb 2m 100 Fez74 5 stars.
