Learning Kindness

OK Play has brought joy and hope into my life. When so much early childhood apps focus on math and languages and jump-starting “genius,” OK Play is all about you and your children learning to love all your emotions — giving you the space to be OK with them so that you don’t have to be owned by them. It teaches empathy by walking through the challenges kids face everyday in a fun and researched way, and offering things you can do right now to practice kindness.

All of the activities are designed for parents and children to experience together. This is not an app that tells kids to “go away” and entertain themselves. So there is an expectation for parent participation. But the collaboration is so well communicated and fun that you’ll find this is easy, fun, and high quality time spent with your child.

The content is produced at a high level, which is surprising for how much there is, and how new content appears each day (free version) and week (subscription version).

I highly recommend OKPlay!! Try it out!

Seen time!

Not screen time but seen time! OKPlay is awesome for activity ideas and it really gets my son talking about his emotions. He starts talking to the characters and I’m learning all sorts of things about his feelings that I didn’t know. He also is learning to understand his emotions and when he’s not being so nice to others. I also don’t always have time to research what developmental activities would be fun engaging. This helps so much when I’m short on time but need a quick idea.

Simply the best

OK Play is the best app for kids. Too often we download apps thinking it is a great tool for our children’s development, only to find out that it is either inappropriate or hidden fees to unlock the features you really want them to have. I feel safe with OK play. Since my girls have started using OKPlay in 2020 they are both more creative, more excited about home assignments and less traumatized by a global pandemic that effected most of there activities.

Gamechanger!!! Love!!!

Great for all ages! Finally an app where you are supported and encouraged to play and connect with your child in a meaningful way. Yes, it is beautifully designed and the activities (particularly Sad Song!) made us laugh and laugh...but at a deeper level it helps relieve my children’s anxiety during these challenging times...and bridges a gap many of us parents feel between ourselves and the technology our children are using.

Fun things to do together, every day!

The thing I love most about OK Play is that it’s intentional time for me and my children, where we get to open up and learn more know about each other on an emotional level through play. It deepens my understanding of and connection to my children. Highly recommended for families who are looking for a breakthrough in their relationships.

🤩✨⭐️GLORIOUS⭐️✨🤩

I love OKPlay its amazing but there are a couple things things that i dont like;

1.Super Creator: I like the idea of super creatir dont get rid of but please add some more things to the non super creator side of it beacuse my mom won’t pay for anything unless its an app that is “ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY” and that means i cant use super creator

2.Sharing: All i need to say here is that i wanna be able to share it but i cant have super creator (as stated a moment ago) so i cant share sadly enough

Great interactive app

Our 3 year-old daughter loves OKPlay. She is on the younger side for the targeted audience but can participate in a lot of the activities. I really like how we can play together. The games are very creative and integrate emotional intelligence, art, music, and physical activity. This is one form of screen time that is guiltless from a parenting perspective. Very creative and fun for both of us too.

Connected us more

My daughter and I are used to playing together, but OKPlay did an incredible job connecting us to more family and friends by inspiring us to share our playtime. And the daily activities are a perfect way to stay consistent with family time. Our family loves OKPlay!

It’s a good game but this might make it better

I was looking around and then I was all off these things not being used like the breathing toys, storybooks, and a lot of other things that I don’t see a lot of people use. To me this sorta makes me a bit sad because they are all super creators so no one but super creators can see them I think that maybe that they should be free so that more people can notice them. Just saying.

Family activity that everyone enjoys

This is the only app that all of my family enjoys, from my 2 year old son all the way to my 95 year old grandma. It’s creative, fun, but also educational both for parents and kids. My son can’t stop playing the Dino Egg story and he creates new drawings every night.

5 stars from the design to the curriculum

After using this just a few days, I know this will be a staple for my daughter for years to come! We love the design of OKPlay and lessons as it shows our daughter that educational material can be beautiful. Excited to see the way this inspires her in the long run.

Screen time you feel good about

I have a 4 and 6 year old. They both love OK Play!!! My son’s favorite are the draw together activities and my daughter loves the breathing tools. This is unlike any other app I have seen. It brings your family together and teaches kids about their emotions and processing them

Family-Centered Screentime

Our 5 year old who just started virtual kindergarten and 2 year old loved the games and activities! As we have used many other apps, this platform was engaging, energizing and educational. The ability to do scavenger hunts and have a mini photography game was such fun for our girls.

Fun and Educational!

The OK Play activities are not only fun and engaging, but also teach kids important skills like sharing, creativIty and recognizing emotions in themselves and others. OKPlay is an excellent way to help your children become thoughtful, mature adults. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Good!

So I think you should make the games free I just think its unfair. Also make it so you can heart٫ like٫ and comment but with emoji's instead of words and make it so you can follow people that way they can show up on the watch button. Anyway great app! Thanks for reading!

A Whole New Approach To Legos!

In my generation, we had primary colored Duplos and then regular Legos and characters to build with.

My son is almost 12 and this new interactive play virtually with apps and the like is fascinating! He still builds physically with his Legos, but the extra perks and online play is even addicting to ME!

Knocked it out of the park

My wife and I are so excited to have discovered Ok Play! Our 3 year old daughter asks to play with OKPlay every morning. And we really embrace that because Ok Play is not just fun for her, but it’s also educational. It strikes a nice balance, and we are very happy she enjoys it so much.

My nieces LOVE Ok Play!

OKPlay is so polished and easy to navigate for adults. My nieces (5 and 8) absolutely love playing and making memories together. They ask for it whenever I see them and it feels like quality time together working on their development (and securing my spot as their favorite auntie)

Best Meal Time App!

My family loves to pass around the drawing activities before and after dinner time! It’s a great way to get little ones to sit together and begin to develop mealtime conversation skills. Plus their grandparents love receiving videos of their creations. Could not recommend more!!

Such a wonderful app

My son is just turning 4 and this really helps keep him engaged and excited. With my son still out of school due to covid, this really helps give him some quality learning that he is deprived of with school closed. Thanks for helping this mama out

Lovely way to make technology CONNECT!

So many apps for kids are about distractions, and making them get sucked into a screen, but OKPlay does something else! It’s not about what happens on screen, but what happens beteeen you and your kid, and that is special!

So Needed!

Thank you OK Play. My kids are running out of things to do with everyone spending soooo much time together. This has been a lifesaver. Great to have all the ideas of ways to play together versus just giving them my phone.
