Would be better than the first except it isn’t

I don’t normally write many reviews, but I am actually irritated at this game. In Braindom 1 you could go about every 5 levels without having a 30 second ad flash across the screen. Which depending on the puzzle would allow you a couple minutes of gameplay at a time. I want to write a quick disclaimer that I know ads are how you make money on free games. So I am okay with watching them to a point. In Braindom 2 they have increased the number of ads exponentially. So even if you choose not to take the extra rewards you get stuck watching an ad after every level. Every single level even if you hit next instead of claiming your prize you will watch an ad. There was even a couple of puzzles that came over from the first game that I immediately recognized. When they made the first game it seemed as if they cared what their player base thought. In this one they are just trying to make money. The story element would be cool if I could enjoy the game... a 10 second puzzle and a 30 second ad makes an irritating play through.

absolutely horrible.

The general basis of the game is a great idea; fun games meant for kids that also teach them about important historical figures. Unfortunately it seems that the developers failed to see the other things this app teaches young children. Constant games about needing makeup to look pretty, needing money to have a good life, and so many other things that subliminally teach the children playing this game the absolute wrong way to think about life. This game affirms all the bad things social media is already currently forcing into our children’s minds, not to mention the fact that it uses your location to target adds, despite not giving the option to turn off the location tracking in the app or your devices settings. To top it all off the game repeats levels, the literal EXACT same challenge, multiple times just to make it seems longer than it is. 1000% do not recommend to children younger than 15.

Much much worse than expected.

I installed this with the expectation of it actually being a riddler. Instead, what I got was this — I don’t even know what to call it. I guess you could call them riddles if you’re 2 years old. It gives away the answer in every level with the horrible “show your evidence” factor of it and not to mention you get ads after every level. EVERY. SINGLE. LEVEL. So once you solve one of these preschool level “riddles” which only takes about 5 seconds due to how easy they are, you’re stuck watching a 30 second ad. You literally spend 6X the amount of time watching ads than solving riddles and that should be absolutely unacceptable. How do the people who make games like this sleep at night? Games are made for the enjoyment of the people who play them and it breaks my heart that the gaming industry, something I found so much passion and enjoyment in, is being ruined by greed.
