I was very excited when I heard we were coming out with a new app for employees. I thought it would be much easier to view my schedule and paycheck once we had an app because I have always had trouble viewing both of these things on my phone. I was disappointed when WegmansTheDish came out a few days late but figured maybe the few extra days were needed to improve WegmansTheDish . However, I was very upset to find that once I clicked on “Payslip” in WegmansTheDish I was taken to an outside browser to view it and I had to spend extra time logging in when I had already logged in on WegmansTheDish . The main reason I want to use WegmansTheDish is to easily view my schedule. However, it still says “Coming soon” at this time. Overall, I am very disappointed and would prefer to be able to view the above mentioned parts of WegmansTheDish within WegmansTheDish rather than in a separate browser.

I was excited for an app when I had trouble with the mobile site. But WegmansTheDish is nothing but a waste of time and data. It makes me log on to the website just to check my schedule, and then won’t let me log on. Things that were intuitive on the site are impossible to figure out on WegmansTheDish . Where is my benefits tracker? I don’t know. What is my new schedule? I don’t know. Why does Wegmans want me to use this lousy app? I don’t know.

I love working for Wegmans. I hate using WegmansTheDish.

WegmansTheDish still blows chunks. It makes me want to cry every time I use it. I just want my schedule. Why is that so difficult?

Seriously, who are you guys paying to make these applications? The formatting and intuitiveness is literally on the level of a novice to mid-level programmer. You would think a company with such “high values” would take the time and money to implement an application that satisfies the standards of the company as a whole.

As a computer science major, I understand these things can be difficult to get right and by no means is it a simple process to make an application... however, this does not excuse the atrocity that is the dish app. Come on guys, I have friends who can do better than this.

Keep the layout simple. Make sure everything works before you release it and start modifying the mobile site. You’re just asking for issues.

I was pressured and guilted into having to download WegmansTheDish and I’m very unhappy that it’s just as bad as I expected. Everything is essentially a link to the real website and the notifications are nothing I find important or relevant overall. Another miss as far as I’m concerned.

You have to log in every single time. It takes forever to load and every time you click something it opens a window in the browser. All WegmansTheDish does is redirect everything to the browser. It’s not convenient to use at all.

WegmansTheDish is waste of space on your device do not download. I don’t understand the point of WegmansTheDish, you login in WegmansTheDish which shows you links which take you to your browser where you have to login second time and then access portal in the browser. Total waste of time. Save time and just login from your browser, WegmansTheDish is horrible in it’s current form.

So WegmansTheDish isn’t that great of an app, all the links just redirects you to your browser, which isn’t well supported for the site. For the last couple weeks I’ve been having trouble viewing my schedule and it’s just really annoying. If I get to the site on safari or chrome it keeps reloading and I can’t find anything either. Needs a lot of improvement.

I can guarantee you anyone who gave WegmansTheDish a 5 star is being paid to do so/ has a vested interest in WegmansTheDish ’s success because this is one of the most disappointing apps I was ever forced to download. Wow, thanks wegmans, instead of having to go through all the unnecessary barriers on safari mobile, I can now press a button on an app that will redirect me directly to the barriers! Half the ‘features’ aren’t even ready yet, which begs the questions why we had to download an app that doesn’t even work. Further, given that everything is just a hyperlink to safari, how are there still aspects of WegmansTheDish unfinished? Like just add the link to the schedule if that’s what you are going to do.

Ok seriously IT, get it together. Regardless of whether you’re using a phone or computer, regardless its software update, wegmans sharepoint is the WORST employee interface to grace this planet. Enrolling in employee coupons? Trying to check your schedule or submit time off? NOPE. Just a super glitchy webpage that flashes and refreshes repeatedly until a “contact your admin” message pops up. Fix this. It’s been like this for YEARS.

It’s as frustrating as the desktop experience of navigating mywegmansconnect and being sent to multiple new tabs just to access your schedule. Not being able to access features inside WegmansTheDish and instead being redirected to the internet browser is a hassle. They’re not *really* features if they’re not accessed internally.

It’s a start is what I can say, but it feels like it’s not finished and shouldn’t have been released until fully complete. Taking me to the website is not a good experience.

WegmansTheDish actually works now, which is an improvement, but it still looks and feels very unpolished. I only use it because the mobile browser website is still unusable on iOS

When I heard we were getting an app I was very excited. This though is not what I expected. I assumed you would be able to see your paychecks through work day all inside WegmansTheDish . I find it annoying that it takes me to the website to view this information, but it is easier than trying to login to wegmansconnect on your phone. If you were able to view everything inside WegmansTheDish and not web browsers that would make it better. Overall satisfied with WegmansTheDish but wish they had made some changes before posting it.

They’ve updated WegmansTheDish since launch and now everything loads within WegmansTheDish . (Like schedule and paystubs) While I understand Workday is though a 3rd party, I would like to see access through Workday so we can update contact info easier, in the future, since we are forced into using Workday for people pages and such.

One of the nicest app icons ever! As WegmansTheDish evolves and I use it more I will find it easily in the jungle of apps on my screen. Don’t fret impatient ones. I know it will continue to get better.

WegmansTheDish is amazing! I can find my schedule, request time off, look at job postings and so much more so quickly! I love that I don’t have to login several times just to view my schedule. Everything I need is easily available in WegmansTheDish . THANK YOU!!!

This is a great app for getting the information I need as an employee. It is a huge improvement over using wegmansconnect on a mobile device. I check it several times a week for information that is shared.

I love The Dish! It is so nice to be able to log into an employee app to be able to see all of the company news and information right at my fingertips. I believe this is another example of living our Who We Are values. Wegmans continues to be a great place to work for all. Thank you, Wegmans!

Every tab takes you to a link on their website and pulls you out of WegmansTheDish . Useless.

Links bring you to a website, not part of WegmansTheDish , where you have to sign in yet again. Defeats the purpose of an app.

App requires that you disable a key security feature in Safari that prevents cross web site tracking. Typical Microsoft based software.

All WegmansTheDish does is redirect you to safari and makes you sign in again. Nothing works properly on safari with mywegmansconnect. There is literally no benefit to getting WegmansTheDish , just more problems.

Seriously? The mobile site is gone and this one doesn’t have any of the information we need? It doesn’t even rotate to accommodate an iPad with a keyboard. Please get this together before taking away our resources. Will update when it does.

WegmansTheDish doesnt run very smoothly considering that when you click on a recourse it bring you to your browser rather than within WegmansTheDish , also schedules should’ve been implemented before launch, would’ve set WegmansTheDish off on a better note.
