I have been trying to cancel my subscription for a month. They keep trying to charge me even though I canceled my subscription and deleted account. Since deleting account I do not have access to my account to unsubscribe successfully. There is no number to call to talk to a person and you are stuck messaging what seems like an AI help “person”. Stay away unless you want to be continuously charged for a service you don’t use.

Avoid purchasing this resume writer at all costs. It's an aggravating experience to use, as it lacks the ability to easily edit your resume outside of Kickresume . Don't be fooled by claims of it being genuine AI; it's nothing more than basic scripts. The templates provided are a complete nightmare, inundating your resume with unnecessary graphics that result in multiple pages. The skills section is particularly infuriating, with its pointless graphs and absurd star ratings, which inevitably push your resume onto a second page. Unfortunately, these undesirable features cannot be removed. I've wasted countless hours attempting to work around their graphical template, only to reluctantly settle for a two-page resume. Spare yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a more effective solution.

I downloaded Kickresume hoping it would help me overhaul my out-dated resume. Shame on me for not reading ALL of the print. The download was free. I paid the extra $26 for someone to proofread the new resume. Today I got an email stating the results of my resume check were ready. Imagine my surprise that I cannot access the resume results without upgrading, which would require me to pay for another level of Kickresume . Not knowing I would need to pay for the results was due to my not reading everything. At best, Kickresume was ok and helped revamp my old resume but given the choices for occupations on the free version I had a difficult time tailoring my resume.

Seems app suited for beginners and those with no resume. Free version should demonstrate more capabilities to entice upgrades.

Think AI built in too much hype. What would be amazing and would consider upgrading immediately if app was able to import from multiple sources and file types complex and existing resumes- then transform them into an better and improved version. Right now AI appears to spit out a limited list of words, phrases and bulleted accomplishments.

I don’t know where the AI pulled it’s information, but it keeps throwing in phrases such as “increased sales by 40%” and “supervised 105 remote representatives”. I didn’t do sales and wasn’t in a supervisory position. I did not provide input even close to this, and spent more time dissecting the deceptive phrases than I did writing the original resume. It misrepresented almost all the information I provided, and the rest it did not understand. It would be really bad if a candidate used this and didn’t correct the garbage filler phrases and the employer actually followed up.

Very happy with how the product works, ease, and quality of the resumes it creates. However I’ve been stuck twice with bugs that prevent me from finalizing or editing my saved resumes. Once it corrected itself in a few days. But now I’m stuck again with no way to access my web-based saved resumes. Waiting for support is frustrating and getting messages back after reporting the issue on how to reset my password vs addressing the actual issue I am having is doubly frustrating. I am using the premium paid version.

Lost my resume after paying for a yearly subscription. It was annoying to have to re-create my resume. However, I have not had a problem with Kickresume after re-typing my resume. I will keep my subscription, since I like the templates they have available. The developer needs to fix this minor glitch and Kickresume will be great!

Love how it helps me rewrite my cover letter to be more succinct and the unique layouts are great.
I do wish that the bugs were fixed when having the AI assist. It cuts off paragraphs mid thought, so you have to start it over from scratch. Also, there’s no go back button. Once you’ve deleted something, it’s gone.

I feel like I started using this app early on, as some functionality was still being polished, but in the short time since then, this has become a very smooth and helpful experience for creating great resumes. Having variety in styles is nice and sort of needed, but the ease of adding different types of sections to a résumé, updating that information, and organizing that information has gotten to be a very smooth experience. Kick résumé has personally helped me to iterate through variations on my own résumé to have various options fitting the different areas I wish to expand upon.

Honestly it was less painful to do my resume. It got me a job within 4 hours. I’m amazed. I love Kickresume. Such a great tool. If you’re doubting getting the subscription. Do buy it! Trust me I went from a server to a assistant manager in 4 hours. I am satisfied.

The new Voice AI feature left me speechless. Just one click (and hold), say your experience, education, etc., and the AI turns it into an amazingly written resume section. Resume "writing" is truly as easy as having a conversation now. Wow!

Kickresume is the absolute bomb, I tried one other. It was OK, but comparatively speaking, this blows it out of the water. It just feels like Kickresume was more thought out than anything else and his, not to be corny, but just flat out cooler than the rest, great features great response times great presentation easy to navigate. Get it.

Wow.. AI having the power to do things for you, especially with professional help? Sign me up! In this age of technology, it’s pretty amazing to see that AI is beneficial to those like myself that don’t have a lot of experience when it comes to writing résumés so this is it! Congrats to the this app team for the update 😂

Kickresume came in handy and real quick. It made building a cover letter and Resume as easy as it could be. The only thing is that the AI didn’t help as I thought it would… maybe it does a better job if you pay for Kickresume ’s service before you start to build your cover letter and or resume…. 🤔🤔🤔.

You can’t even edit the templates once you use them, so if you can’t fit everything on one page using the format, then you just have to keep it and they don’t let you create your own version to use instead either. AS WELL, after I spent two hours tweaking it just enough for it to fit on one page with the set format- It REVERTED EVERYTHING back to the original template. So I wouldn’t waste your time like I did.

Newbie but am hoping that this is the right one for me to redo my resume. Thank you very much I’m going to try and get it to work tonight or Tuesday morning and I can try and get some sleep but I’m just not feeling well and I’m just really stressed and I’m just not able with the stress and anxiety that I’m having and I just can’t do anything about that

This helped me organize my work experience on paper and really helped me stand out against other applicants. I landed a job with a huge promotion after applying to jobs with the resume this helped me create. Within a week **
This has a free option but I opted to pay for the unlimited template option for 18$ & it was easily the best 18$ I’ve ever spent , I basically traded 18$ for 20,000$ salary increase with my new job! Highly recommend.

I feel like I get more callbacks after submitting a résumé, because not only does the résumé layouts look modern, but they also allow me to submit a standard passport photo, giving people further insight, and making your résumé stand out. originally I thought that the Photo on résumé thing only applied for high and professional jobs, but I don’t think so. I think people are not allowed to say it, but they like a résumé with a photo.

The ability to have a second pair of eyes or an AI in this case check and rewrite with key words of an industry to relay skills and knowledge has become a standard practice for hiring new employees. Thankfully Kickresume makes it fun and easy. Just duplicate and replace the résumé templet to give your best design and relevant job skills down for the job you are applying for. I recommend making a “Key Resume,” with every job and from there duplicate and keep only the relevant information.

I tried to talk myself out of Kickresume twenty times. Then when I went for it I had no idea what it had to offer. My resume looks 100% better and a website to view it. Talk about ahead of the game. I would hire me.
