Good at what it sets out to be

TL:DR - if you want a dating sim game and have enough self-discipline to not spend all your time on it, absolutely get it. If you don’t have a good life-game balance, be careful for it’s problemaically addicting nature.

For what it is, it’s really good. There’s a large free roster of girls and personalities, and if none of them fit your niche there’s microtransactions that can unlock new ones. There’s even the internet explorer waifu. Lots of good content and simple gameplay cycle. I even notice the SEVEN DAY afk timer (extremely lenient compared to lots of other games), which means you can leave this game and come back when it works for you. If you’re looking for dating sim games, appreciate unique character designs, or are looking for more adult ish games, this is really good and likely up your alley.

The reason I leave 3 stars instead of more is because of personal reasons and the fact it’s… well, addicting. I already have my fair share of problems with technology and self-discipline, and the dozens of counting timers pulled my focused multiple times throughout the day. Mobile games in the modern day look to grab attention, and Crush Crush does an absolutely fantastic job at that. But between my own addictions and how good this game is at taking attention away from real life tasks, I had to delete it.

Just Get It on PC

It’s nice to finally see this game on iOS, but it’s limited in terms of content. There is no NSFW option due to Apple’s policies regarding the matter. Nutaku is also absent for the aforementioned reason. There doesn’t appear to be any voice acting in the mobile version yet, which is a shame. You’re much better off getting this game on PC since there is an uncensored DLC with 18+ content, and most of the girls feature voice acting. Unless Apple allows 18+ content in the future (doubt it), I wouldn’t recommend playing this game on mobile, especially if you only play it for the “goods” (who doesn’t?). The mobile version also has the same issues as PC, with several girls being locked behind a paywall or restricted to limited-time events. I’ll probably still play this game when I’m away from my computer, but I’m still going to play it primarily on PC.

Good game in need of fresh material

The events are fun, the base game is amazing, but this game is in dire need of a big update rather than the usual bug fixes and limited time offers. Sure I can spend money to get more stuff, or watch hundreds of ads to get more things, I think there needs to be more. It’s an idle game, I get that, but it also has lore and relationships that seem too be forgotten as we go on. I’d love to see mini games for each unlock-able character, or something else unique to the game like the text chats; this way people won’t have to wait hours just to do something in the game (yes, I’m aware this is an idle game, but those cliffhanger text messages can only fuel me so much). I find it unlikely this will happen due to how this game has remained the same for a while now, and the creators probably lost interest in it, but even just tiny mini games would make it better; of course deciding whether it’s a must or a choice is up to the developer, as most just enjoy the text story, I just personally believe it would enhance the experience of the game. Or, perhaps, a sequel could be in the works? Either way, more main game content isn’t bad, mini games would be cool, and existing characters deserve more spotlight. Have a good day!

Gems

I love this game. It’s fun to make money and to see the cute photos you get from leveling up all the characters, and it’s pretty good at what it does. The only thing I don’t like is how hard it is to get gems. I don’t wanna pay for gems and i do know the events can give you 1 gem or leveling up girls to new levels can give 1 gem, but in the end it feels like I have to pay to get the characters I want from the store, even if it has a sale going on. I feel like something they could implement is you could get new gems when you soft restart(so you get gems during it even if you finish the girls. For example: if I finished Cassie and soft restarted, I would get gems after each level just like I would when I first played) or when you get a girl to lover level you get 5 or 10 gems. I really wanna get phone fling characters or characters for limited time, but it just feels impossible to get gems without paying real money. Thanks! Have a good day

Great game, annoying bugs.

I absolutely adore this game. I played the pc version for a long time before finding CrushCrush . While the pc version is nearly perfect, CrushCrush added some things that make the game easier.

The ability to watch ads to double your money, gain speed boosts, and time skip 30 minutes is a genius way of adding ads without stopping your progress. While the concept is wonderful, the execution is very buggy. The speed boost is supposed to last up to 12 hours if you watch the 4 ads but sometimes when you leave CrushCrush , your boost will reset, cutting your offline progress significantly. The ad to double your money also crashes the game occasionally.

Like I said, I love this game and other than those few bugs, it’s perfect.

The avatar feature.

It’s a very good game! It’s so addicting and i can’t stop playing it! You don’t really have to spend any real life money when you can earn all of the in game credits by watching videos skipping time with the 30 min time feature and the phone feature is awesome! but the avatar feature…i have some things to say about it, it seems lazy. like whoever made it made it in 30 minutes, it’s sloppy and there’s not much color. the face of the avatar is kinda sloppy, it would be nice if you could edit the avatar features by each facial feature. like eyes, nose, lips things of that sort and make it so you can edit the color of your eyes and skin and hair. speaking of hair the hair styles are sloppy and they don’t look well done. it would be awsome if you could re do them! 🤍🤍🤍

Great game

I’m going to be completely honest, I originally bought this game because of the girls. But I kept it because it’s just fun, which I definitely didn’t expect at all. The events are a great little detail and the phone flings are my favorite part about the game. I really like games where you have to work for stuff and that’s exactly what this game is. Of course this isn’t perfect. I would suggest bringing back past events for girls instead of making them dlcs forever, that’d make it a little more fun to have a second chance at unlocking characters. Another thing I like about the game is you get rewarded for completing relationship levels with girls, which brings me to my next suggestion, maybe consider adding quests that give gems or something, instead of just having that log in thing where you have to play every day to get stuff. Finally I would just like to thank the people who make this game for continuing to develop and improve the game, hoping for more free girls in the future? And definitely hoping for more phone flings, I almost finished those completely and I’m starting to wonder if I’ll get bored eventually without them. Okay this time that really is all. Thank you for making this game, I’ve had a lot of fun playing it.

Secretly my favorite idle game

I figured this would be a cheap generic idle game with anime girls but shockingly, it’s much better than that! It’s actually pretty unique, with funny writing and good progression. Instead of mindlessly tapping forever or not playing at all like other idle games, you use Time Blocks to set jobs and skills to progress and level up with the girls, and there’s a lot of switching them up and juggling. The texting side-game part is also great and a really smart use of timers and amusing writing, it’s a pretty fun gameplay loop unlocking new things back and forth. No mandatory ads either which is a big plus, although it does have optional ads for bonus rewards which is totally fine by me. Looking forward to new content!

I love this game

So I play this on steam on my computer but I can’t always be on my computer and I can’t bring it everywhere with me so I love that this is an app now. I saw an ad for it and I knew I had to get it. I can now get the girls you get through events which is so nice because I usually miss events because I can’t be on my computer all the time. I didn’t even know Internet Explorer was a character in this before. I love the comic she’s in. Anyway I’m so happy that this is an app now and I’m on it all the time. You don’t need to but I think it would be cool if you could make Blush Blush a app too. I also play that on steam and have the similar issue of not being able to check on it often.

Banana bread

It’s not every day I write a review for an app. I actually don’t think I’ve ever written one. But crush crush deserves your time. And money. And obsession. Richly satisfying like a moist banana bread(without nuts), endlessly clever like a moist, sweaty, standup comedian, surprisingly endearing like a disarming and heartfelt compliment from a stranger that brings a moist tear to your eye. Crush crush is immaculate. I don’t even like anime. Like, at all. Or dating sims. But it hooked me. I hope it keeps getting developed and new content rolls out. But if not I'm a lifelong sad pandamonian. I can’t wait to try whatever they put out. <3 Edit: ack! Please more audio phone flings!!!! They’re genius. I love them. Love love LOVE. Would give all my gems for more. Ok thank youuuuuuuu

Wonderful! But..

I’ve played this game for about a year and a half.. and I’ve loved every bit of it! The girls are wonderful and the artist details look great on them. Their pasts and talk bubbles are awesome and it gives a really good feel to the game! Although, the reset add-on stops after a certain point which is really annoying. Even with it maxed out, it takes a long time to get the hobbies and jobs leveled up. I would also love to see some more girls, jobs, and hobbies! After a point, you have to buy or unlock new girls with the events (which are on pretty much average like 14 days). It would be really cool if we could get some girls that we can unlock like the regular ones.

Thank you so much for making this game! I love it.

love this game so much

My friend introduced me to this game last yr and ive been playing it ever since and im still NO WHERE NEAR FINISHING!!!! This is definitely the type of game that takes time but it's still so much fun. And whole you wait for hobby levels to increase or more money to flow in u can do the little texting part of the game. I also LOVE the fact that you can choose to watch adds or choose not to. The ads give such an added benefit to the game and help u progress much farther but i've never had the game force me to watch one. I always had to press the watch add button or something. Anyways im embarrassingly obsessed with this game and have it running all the time in the background while im doing other things. Definitely recommend

honestly an incredible game

i can easily say crush crush is not your typical dating sim. i’ve been addicted for months and i’ve still got tons of gameplay time left! not to mention the game is ENTIRELY gender neutral and doesn’t just assume youre a guy, which is great for us nonbinary or wlw folks!! the girls are unique and interesting while playing off of funny ‘waifu’ tropes. the girls in the text messages are especially great because your relationship feels much more personal. i’m hoping to possibly see the girls over text added as dateable girls in the future! and possibly more dateable girls in the texts like alternate universe fumi :) my favorites have gotta be cassie, generica, and fumi. either way im excited to see what they do in the future! definitely a game worth playing!!! <33

Love This

I never write reviews, but I felt like I had to for this game. I played the game on Steam, but honestly it is so much better on mobile (to be fair though I’m not much of a PC gamer anyway). I love the addition of the phone flings, and the self aware humor of all of it just makes me smile. Not only that but this is what a lot of mobile games should strive to be. The ads aren’t intrusive to the gameplay (and are basically completely optional), and because of that not only do I play longer and choose to watch the ads for the boost, but it makes me 100% more willing to buy the DLC (which I have) because I /want/ to play more. Also I’m hoping that by supporting the creators we’ll eventually get Blush Blush on mobile too, and then I can have my boys as well as my girls!

So quick question

I’ve been playing this game for about a year and still not done with it. But when it comes to the reset option, just A quick question . I know that everything resets (besides things payed for irl, jobs, hobbies, achievements, time blocks.) But do the girls themselves reset? Even the girls who are already at “Lover” status? ( I would image it resets them back to the “Acquaintance” status.) As in do you lose all of the girls except the first one (Cassie) and have to re-meet them all, including the Phone Flings? I’ve had the question for a bit, and knowing that I might have to re-meet all of the girls (as I’ve been playing for a year and have gotten 21 of the girls including Phone Flings) would completely not make me wanna Reset . Any clarification on this?

The best idle mobile game I’ve ever played!! 💕

This is genuinely one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played. I played the PC version when it first came out and fell in love with it, so I decided to download the mobile version after being reminded of it: I have a fairly busy schedule but am able to check my phone between gaps and this game is perfect for me! It actually encourages you to get off CrushCrush and idle with no caps for the amount of production earned offline and no decrease in the amount earned. When waiting for jobs or hobbies to go up the texts are so fun to go through. The art is adorable and the character designs are adorable too. My favorites are Elle and Peanut, they’re so cute!! If you like idle games but hate plateaus and never progressing, please give this game a chance!

GREAT

So I don’t usually like games like this, but it’s great. The characters who cute, funny, different, and overall perfect. The texts are amazing (although I wish some of those girls were love interests too..) and I feel like I’m actually a part of the game. I’ve been addicted for a few days now. The only two things I’d ask for, is maybe a way to gain more diamonds, like maybe for every achievement too, and maybe the actual paid for girls should have a way to get them through playing cause I really want Charlotte but I don’t have the money right now. Either way I’m still really attached to the other girls (still questioning Bearverly XD) and the game makes me really happy. I never liked playing this game on the computer, but I love playing it on the phone and hope to see Blush Blush brought to the phone soon too!!!

I am addicted

So, I have played this game on steam, and got the dlc, and pretty much every girl, finished all the achievements and also paid over $100 and guess what... it was worth it. Although others have spent a lot of time and more money on this ( my senpais). This game is great way when you are away from your house,I hope that someday there will be a way to link your steam account so you can unlock all girls, but it doesn’t have to add your progress, but if not, I would still play the game since I love spending my life force away just tapping on waifus all day long. Like any other typical “Crush Crush” cultured players, I would hope to see the nsfw dlc come out. However it’s not all about the dlc, to me(I am giving a heartfelt speech)... to me... it’s all about the relationships you develop with the waifus, and all the dates, and time you spent on this game. Thank you, Sad Panda Studios Ltd for creating this beautiful game!!!

I might be obsessed! Great writing!

Obligatory “I never usually review but I like this game a lot” intro.
In the beginning, trying to grind out those first few levels, I was tapping away while watching tv lol. I liked tapping through and seeing all the in-character, unique dialogues! They kept me hooked!
The reset system also (at least up to where I am,) actually feels like it works properly, and scales well, unlike most idles I’ve played (where you end up just checking in every 6 hours or whatever the cap is). I personally haven’t utilized the full week away time (I usually hop on while I drink my morning coffee) I could see it being helpful for busier people!
I also like that the girls have stats that include preferred stats and gifts! The phone flings are great, and the writing is hilarious.
And as a girl, some of these dating-sim style games can be a little off-center but I love this!

Been playing for little

So I’ve been playing for a few years and now have over 7,000 in game hours. I’m a little obsessed with it. This is an amazingly well crafted game, that just sucked me in and wouldn’t let me out. Even if it’s a little slow in some places, I always find things to do, and pool dowsed for. Whenever I wake up, I open it up and see what I can. When I go to sleep, I double check to make sure I’ve done all my daily things. There are so many girls, and things to get. That it’s just never ending so far. I haven’t paid anything, I’ve just been playing because it’s just that good. W game, getting up to a full year of in game time. What a W.
