All about making money

I really loved BricksBallCrusher in the beginning. It sucked because there was a commercial after every little thing to I finally bought BricksBallCrusher and thought all the annoyances would end there, but of course not 🙄 They switched the earning of in game bonuses from diamonds to coins fairly soon after buying BricksBallCrusher which meant I couldn’t buy and subsequently use the helpful tricks/tools to get past a difficult level which I thought was no big deal and I would just simply have to work harder to get past a level but then I noticed I couldn’t get past this single level and every time I would finish attempting, a pop up would say “yearly subscription for diamonds”... like never seen this before and I’m stuck on a single level and all of a sudden every time I fail this level this ad pops up which is very fishy and even if I try to go to the Home Screen from this particular level the ad pops up and I noticed that all other levels this ad doesn’t pop up.. been on the level for months now and I’ve just come to terms with the fact that they made this particular level extremely difficult to beat UNLESS you spend more and more money to pass it. Another thing that irked me, is I bought a “specialty ball” and it was the Hello Kitty style ball and had that for a while and one day I log in and it’s COMPLETELY gone.. no where to be found.. So I couldn’t imagine if I had spent my own money for game diamonds to buy that ball and poof it be gone.

Game works, sort of

It’s ok except there’s no explanation of what any of the different blocks do. That makes it just a crapshoot. About half the time the balls shoot off when you try to aim. That’s so irritating. This is one of those constant begging games. Before you do anything they beg for money 12 times. That’s ridiculous because they already get paid from the 3-6 ads they play for every game. Seriously it can take 10-12 minutes between games where you have to restart BricksBallCrusher 3 or more times due to locked up ads. I’m pretty sure this is the most ad heavy game ever invented. One or the other, begging or ads, is acceptable. Plus it seems they spent about 5 minutes making this piece of horrible programming, which is just stolen from many similar but much better games. The ads don’t work properly which really breaks this game. If there have to be ads, fine. The problem is that most of these lock up or go into an endless loop. You can usually only play a minute or two before you have to restart because an ad or the game locks up. There’s no other way to continue. You’ll never get whatever they promised for watching the ad so what’s the point. I just make sure to never support or use whatever’s in the ad. I only made it about 30 minutes with this game before the annoyance overpowered any fun that might have existed.

Fun but...

This is a uniquely satisfying game of balls flying around everywhere smashing bricks. I’m on level 361. I finally figured out the extra helper thingys like what they do because I can’t find any directions or explanations on BricksBallCrusher . But the annoying thing is still the issue with how long it takes to get additional lives. It’s 5:30 pm and I haven’t played since before bed last night. 18 hours have passed and I open BricksBallCrusher to 1 life. And for the first time ever, it won’t let me watch a video to get a new life. What’s up with that? My last review complained about that alone. And it got better for a while. Like someone had seen my review and fixed the problem. But here we are again. It seems to be less of a problem when I close BricksBallCrusher from the Home Screen, but I have to watch the ad to even do that. Ridiculous! And the problem isn’t even consistently a problem but mostly it is. And up until today, at least I could watch a 30-45 second ad and be on with it. Otherwise I love this game. I even deal with the fact that I have to watch a video before I do anything on BricksBallCrusher . And lately, I’ll watch an ad and sometimes not even get the reward.

Awesome and more than just brick breaking.

What can I say? This game is fun! This game is easy! This game is also hard. You can play it in a way that really challenges yourself. You can play just pass the time. There are countless progressive levels, a myriad of power ups, daily challenges, seasonal challenges, achievements, tournaments, and if that wasn’t enough, you can also create, edit, and play your own levels, and once you’ve got up or design refined into something you really enjoy playing, you can then publish it for the world to play also. If it becomes a hit with everybody you receive likes as well as plays on your levels that you can track the progress on all within this little brick breaker app. But don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself, and decide for yourself.

(P.S. To the developers, how do you beat the number three on level fifteen of the percussion challenges? I’ve been stuck for weeks now on this level.... HELP!!!)
Thanks

Great Game However

This Is a very fun and addictive game... HOWEVER, it crashes way too often. I understand the need for ads, which in order to do anything in this game, you must suffer through quite a few. But, from the lower levels all the way to the upper 300’s, it tends to crash (game just shuts down and forces you to start again), and you have to start the current level from the beginning. This happens way too often. Hopefully a bug can be fixed and this won’t occur anymore, because I really do like the game. From an iPhone 7+. Thank you!

So. Many. Ads.

Okay so do you like ads? No, I mean REALLY like ads? Even if you do, you don’t like them enough for this game. Let me paint a picture for you: you open the game, and go to the first level you want to play. As. Now this one is optional, but it’ll give you a little gift to help beat the level…you figure you can spare thirty seconds of your life. Then you play the game a bit, but you lose. It’s cool: revive for an ad. Need an extra line taken out? Watch another ad. Don’t want to revive? Still gotta watch an ad. Get where I’m going with this? You want to earn some diamonds after you beat a level? Watch an ad. Want to earn some daily gifts for being a faithful player? Ads. All in all, you can expect to watch about 2 minutes worth of ads for every one minute of game play. If you can survive that, the game is fun.

Oh, also, your phone will overheat and freeze occasionally because, you guessed it, ads. If you just flip it into airplane mode when you get tired of the ads, it works great, but you lose access to all those helpful things that require you to watch an ad I think it’s worth it

By

Very fun....gotta do something about those ads

Games need ads, that’s fine. But they blast their volume, either turning off the music/podcast you have playing or shouting sounds to your whole classroom because you forgot to turn your phone volume down. If you’ve silenced the game effects, the ads should be silenced too. Also quite often, you watch an ad and when it ends, you just sit and stare at a frozen screen and it never takes you back to the game so you have to close out and reload and then watch another ad to start again. But I do love the gameplay, except I agree with another review that often the balls don’t launch quite where you’re aiming. Maybe adding a lock feature where you’ve got it where you want it and it won’t move anymore.

Also, speaking of ads, the ads that are shown are false advertisement! Many aren’t anything even close to what they show. I’d really reconsider doing business with liars. It’s so frustrating that games know they aren’t fun, so they lie about what they are just to rack up their downloads. Maybe they should come up with a better game?

No restore option?

I recently upgraded my phone from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 11 Pro, and downloaded the game on my new phone. I have been playing this game for a while now on my iPhone 7, completed a bunch of levels, and paid for the removal of ads. I don’t mind having to restart on levels again, but it would be nice if I didn’t have to pay for ad removal again, especially since it hasn’t been more than a few weeks since I paid for it the first time. Most of the other apps I downloaded onto my new phone that I had on my old one that I had made purchases on have a restore option so you don’t have to purchase it all again, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with this game. It’s a fun game and I love playing it, but I despise ads. If there is a way to restore my purchase to remove ads, I will give you back the 5 stars I left last time. If not, my rating stays at 2 stars, and the game will be uninstalled from my phone. Other than this not being able to restore my purchase, this is a great app.

I hate the gaming industry, the cell phone industry, and the world

Got game and it was really fun so I paid for it to remove ads. This was a dumb mistake because now I don’t have to watch ads between every level but it still asks me to watch ads every time I get stuck. Watch an ad to revive for free, watch an ad to get extra balls, etc… it also still has the timer where I have to wait for more lives. I am not paying any more money on any other games ever. I thought I was buying the game but really I was just paying for my first taste of digital crack and now I see that they are going to nickel and dime me and still get me to watch as many ads as possible. I am paying between $10 and $20 dollars a month for everything related to entertainment these days and I it is a complete scam. I pretty much don’t own anything and I am tired of feeling like I am being extorted by everyone. This game is not worth a monthly subscription and even if I signed up for one you would still do everything you could to get me to watch ads. You are a what is wrong with America.

Oh my God the friggin ads!

I just can’t take it anymore. It’s just too much. I feel I am a patient person and I’m pretty good at watching ads to get stuff and just watching ads when needed. I understand these apps have to make money somehow. But this game is becoming ridiculous. It’s not even the type of ads where you click the X and it just closes. You click the X and they either make you try the game out for another 10-15 seconds before you can close it again or it directs you to BricksBallCrusher Store. Oh and if you don’t click on the X properly it will KEEP TAKING YOU TO BricksBallCrusher STORE. Also why is there a limping beaten up woman hiding in a coffin to run away from someone as one of the ads??? Then the option for the boyfriend is either turn her in for $80,000 or save your lover? Wth is this? The game is very fun so it’s really unfortunate that it’s so bombarded by really weird ads. Seriously there’s an ad every time I do anything. Finish a level. Ad. Start a level. Ad. Pause. Ad. Drink water and phone turned off and go back to the game. Ad. For goodness sake....I can’t take this crap anymore!

Could be better

I paid for ad free because there are soooo many ads. And the ads are full length, 30+ seconds, some don’t even start until I tap k. The screen so if I look up, it’s a min or two blue fire it even starts.

The first few hundred levels are fine but there are some that require so many extra boosts in order to pass so have to spend money or many many minutes watching long, terrible, repetitive ads for gems.

Finally, and most annoyingly, I have the sounds turned off in the game but the game still pulls audio priority. If I have an audiobook playing, sometimes (randomly)it will still play but most of the time is stops when I start a level. I can open my control center, press play, resume game, and it shuts off my audiobook. Only in the playing levels, not the Home Screen. It’s weird and very frustrating. So I only play while watching tv now, which is only about 30-40 min/night.

Fun game that has been freemiumed to death

This is a fun little chaotic block breaking game that unfortunately has been freemiumed to death.

For example, you earn rewards in a bank, that you then have to spend cash to actually get. Each round involves one or two “presents” that you pay gems or watch ads for. There is a daily wheel spin you can pay or watch ads for. There are ads on your third round a day, and every round thereafter. You can pay to disable ads, but it only disables those daily required ads, not the ads they “optionally” want you to watch to get the things you’ve earned. You of course have lives you can run out of, and pay for more or watch ads for. Wanna undo a bad shot? Gems. VIP version? Cash. One of hundreds of new balls? Gems and gold. These are a constant barrage of upsells broken up by short moments of game. For a tiny relaxing kind of mindless game this is like taking a yoga class in a Vegas Casino.

Pretty fun, despite its faults

Game is both challenging and enjoyable, I’ll say that first. Reason I only gave it 3 stars is because, at 100 levels in, I have yet to see anything like that ad that made me want to download it. (A sort of timed level, guy in the middle and water’s rising around him, gotta break the bricks before it gets too high—nothing remotely like that so far.)

Also a couple problems with the way it plays, one mechanical and the other I think maybe glitchy. Mechanical problem is that the ball doesn’t go where it tells you it’s going to way too often. Kind of annoying when I’m trying to squeeze it in somewhere or set up a ricochet and the ball just hits a corner and bounces straight back to the bottom of the screen instead of following the path it indicates that it’s going to.
Glitchy issue has to do with the hearts/lives. They’re supposed to refill at one every thirty minutes, but sometimes they just don’t. Or they take a reeeeally long time. Just the other day I went about 20 hours between playing. When I opened it up to play, I only had 4 out of 5 hearts. It’s not uncommon to run out of hearts and let it sit for a couple hours and then open it back up and I only have 1 or 2 hearts.

All that said, I have no intention on getting rid of it. It’s fun, like I said, even for those few issues.

More concerned with ads than game quality

I really enjoyed this game when I first started playing it. However, I succumbed to the ‘pay $2.99 to avoid ads’ option which did basically NOTHING to avoid ads. Everything you do in this game requires you to watch ads. Want your daily gifts? 5 ads. Want to start a new game with a bonus? Ads? You won something in game! Great huh? Nope - watch these ads. Worse that that there are multiple bugs in game that do not even reward you in game for ads. So i reported it, and was told ‘take a video to help us and we will send you diamonds and in game help!’ So, I spent weeks catching ads that don’t reward you, sent it in and got a ‘thanks’. No promised rewards, etc. When I reminded them that they promised me diamonds, they just quit responding. So if you want to provide free QA for an offshore company that is basically more concerned with tricking you into clicking ads than playing a game, you’ll love this one.

Was good. Not now.

Like everyone else is saying about the recent changes..... going from 20 hearts down to 5 max, and extending the time it takes to regenerate one is too much. I bought the ad removal a year ago and it was borderline worth it then. I would have appreciated unlimited lives since it was still asking for money when I ran out of the 20 hearts. Now, I get 5 hearts, same as everyone else, except I can blow through them faster, ad free... lucky me. And I never understood charging a heart even for a successful completion of a level. So yeah, unless you spend money on more hearts, you’ll probably be done faster than most guys losing their V-card.

And the other change about being rewarded with coins instead of diamonds. I was just about ready to call it quits then. Some levels are designed to need items unless you get the first 4 shots perfectly (hint hint: it’s the ones that are basically full with one path along the side). They throw those in every 7 or 8 levels. Last year, I completed about 440 levels... since the changes, I think maybe I’ve completed 10.

The game was good and is basically the same as every other brick and ball game.... some by the same company I’m pretty sure. It just isn’t fun anymore... if you’re looking for some mindless fun, stress free, look elsewhere.

To quote the game: Any other game is “more better” and you’ll get “+133%” the fun elsewhere... strike that, “+150% Amazing Value”....

Bad ads…

I’ve enjoyed this game for about a year now. I even tolerate the 30 second ads for extra rewards. But over the past month, the ads are riddled with pro vaccination messages, rainbows and all kinds of liberal crap. I was able to report the ads but then Pro-Socialist commy Google changed how they are reported. Now they just keep popping up every other ad with a way to report them. Just over and over and over with daunting repetition. I wonder if Google/Bricks Ball Crusher realizes their ads are NOT going to change minds but rather provoke it’s customers to flat out delete the game and push people like me away from their products. Which is why I’m deleting the game and moving on to something else. Been a fun ride but your wokeness is just too much. I’m not unreasonable. An ad here and there is fine. It’s just too much. And if it’s too much for me… which I can tolerate a good bit, it’s probably way too Much for many and I hope they also delete BricksBallCrusher and move onto something new. C-ya!

To many ads

Seems pretty fun enjoy it there’s just two things, one way too many ads even if I don’t push add to receive more diamonds or whatever it’s still gives me aids. Second is there’s really no way to get more diamonds a lot faster or hearts or even specials to help with the levels I mean yes there is a daily check in. And achievements or gold you’ve got a reach in order to receive my hearts for diamonds which is cool. But if you want to purchase any with your diamond sword the coins that you’re winning you don’t get that option you get one option to watch an ad for 20 diamonds or not you have to pay. I don’t know it’s fine but I’m noticing all the other ads or so in the same game so if there continues to be this many ads after playing every level it’s so irritating I may just end up deleting it and go and try one of those.

Really buggy

I really enjoyed the game and soon became addicted to it, but it is very frustrating when it constantly kicks you out of the game. The game can’t handle 100 balls bouncing around so it just kicks me out. Notice in the normal levels this doesn’t happen as you only get up to 50 balls usually, but in the special events or handmade levels by other players it does. There is this one level that I have been trying to beat that was made by another player. It was super hard and the 3 times I made it to the end (we are talking that I had one block left) it exited me out of the game because t couldn’t handle 100 balls bouncing around a 50 number block. This was extremely frustrating as when I got back in it started me over, and cost me a life. There is also no tutorial for all the different blocks and I still don’t know how some of them work. This needs to be fixed.

Fun game but constant ads contain 18+ content

My kids and I have enjoyed this game a lot but lately the ad content is wildly inappropriate. We’re talking an anime character covered up with “scratch off” material and the ad scratches it off to reveal the character in a bikini that can best be described as dental floss, while the characters boobs grow larger at the same time. I’m not a prude by any means, but I just don’t think advertising 18+ (labeled as such by the ad itself) content to a game that children play is ethically ok. Let kids be kids for as long as possible. I tried contacting the people who made the game through their contact us option and have received no response. Yes, you can buy the ad free version. But if you’re like me and play the free version for a while to make sure it’s something you actually want to spend money on, I’m not sure I want to support a company that is cool with 18+ content being shown to minor children.

I've HAD it...

Look, I don't have a problem with ad supported games. But this one is ridiculous. There are ads foisted on you every 20 seconds in this thing. They package them as helpful bonuses, but the fact is that MANY of these levels are nearly impossible to win without the bonuses, so you're going to end up watching ads.

And you know what? Even THAT would be ok, if the ads worked properly! I can't tell you how often I've had the button to serve up an ad and either give me my one-time cover our a bonus, and nothing happens. The ad simply won't start. And today I started getting an even worse offense: I watch the ad and then I don't get the reward. That's unacceptable, and it's the last straw. I've put in a good bit of cash on this game too, foolishly buying gems and stuff. But I've had it. The ads are overbearing and don't even work half the time. I'm sick of it!

Great game, don’t like the ball launch

I really like this game but for one aspect. While aiming the ball, you get to line up you shot and it looks perfect. But as you let up on your finger and release the ball, your lined up shot moves. I assume it’s registering the difference in your finger pad as it leaves the screen. I very often end up shooting just off my mark and wasting a turn. It would be better if we could opt into an “aim and then press a button to shoot” method for those of us who want to double check the line up. Other than this gripe, I love it.

Ads don’t give awards; higher levels impossible in new update

Half of the ads do not give the promised rewards and the button to see an ad for an award then goes dark, so you’ve not only lost your reward; you don’t even get a second chance. The older version used to give you more extra bonus balls the more you play in a single session, so if you are tackling a difficult level for the 3rd or 4th time, you get more bonus balls each time. Now, the impossible levels with tons of 200 and 300 blocks give you the same measly 19 or 20 bonus balls, requiring you to use a lot of gems, coins, and bonus tools that are acquired very slowly, seemingly to get people to spend real money to buy more gems and coins.

The problem with the ads not giving rewardsis an old problem, but it was bearable because the levels were manageable with the increasing number of extra bonus balls. I wish I never updated and wish I hadn’t spent money (to remove ads).

ADS

It started with one Trump as that immediately has an X, but no matter how long you wait, closing it you get no rewards. Now there are several, with an endless loop with an X, and no matter what you do, you don’t get the reward. Wanna put up those ads between games? Fine, because we can click right out of it. But when you click the “watch ads” on purpose to get power ups, it shouldn’t be like that. It’s a rip off of your players’ time. Other than that, the game is fun and addicting- been stuck at home since corona started, unemployed and pregnant, and I play constantly. Ironically, I only downloaded the game in the first place to try to stop seeing the ad for it on other games because it was getting on my nerves- well worth the download.

The game was fun but now i m tired because there r so many ad to watch n no reward at time too .. so if u want to download think twice .. not recommended..

This game is nice , but I don’t recommend people to play.. they cheat you on watching advertisements and sometimes no rewards .. and there are a lot of advertisements to watch before you can play a game.

Wayne F Lyons   2 years ago

Not only are the ads constant, they are often faulty and do not even play in the correct format. They are overly long taking 30 seconds or longer and often containing just a single graphic. Worst of all, a recent ad plays and does not allow you to reenter the game at the point you were pulled away by the ad. This means you have to exit the game completely, losing your position in the game and then you are hit with the exact same ad. I'm done and I'm deleting this garbage now!
