5 months agoI am a new Mercury Auto Insurance customer and when I attempt to load the app from the App Store I am informed that my phone is not compatible. Poor app
Scoring has been incredibly inconsistent. Scores sill drop after a 5 star drive. Over 2 weeks we dropped 30 points with the same amount of driving and no change in the typical # of stars per drive. The trends in the app show all 90+ during the time the score dropped. We were already less than impressed because it took almost a month and multiple customer service calls to add one of our drivers. It’s never good when customer service calls and say they have no idea and can’t do anything about it. The app was part of why we went with Mercury in the first place. Now it will probably be one of the reasons we leave.

It’s just a scam
Like the other reviews say. You can have all great scores. Suddenly after two weeks score drops down to so hard so they don’t have to reduce your policy cost. Interesting is they did that on a day when I wasn’t even driving. I was a passenger which they also tagged my drive as. So how can my score drop over 30 points on a day I’m only a passenger ?????? Huge scam don’t bother Update: This app does still not make any sense. It can drop you points when your are not even in a car. Let alone driving.

Bad programming glitches
Get lots of phone distractions while driving if my dexcom diabetic app sends alert. Also, if vehicle is stopped in parking lot and not in motion, if phone is used, it dings your score. Also, it didn’t “see” that a family member was registered. Her data was lost. Speed limits incorrect in some areas. Need a way to mark those tobecorrected!
