I loved this, up until I went to buy the book. I paid for BabyNotebook upfront, then went to buy the book, after spending a year working on the book and paying for extra pages, and it was $169. To top it off, because my subscription expired I can only buy the book. Not edit anything or even view it. I’m so disappointed I lost all of the work and letters my husband and I wrote our son, but I’m not paying $169 when I already paid for BabyNotebook and additional pages. And I’m not paying for another subscription. It seems like predatory behavior on the part of the company. So in short, wouldn’t recommend unless you’re bleeding money and willing to give it to anyone.

The company argues that this is comparable to similar products and it provides you with prompts, etc. I found Mixbook which also has an app as well as a desktop version. It doesn’t require a subscription, it about $50 cheaper, and has far better editing features and capabilities. In addition it it far more customizable as you can add specific layouts and backgrounds.

BabyNotebook would be so great if there were a desktop version too. It’s so hard to type and insert longer paragraphs on a phone for the different prompts, especially longer ones. Not to mention how hard it is to read what you’ve typed when you can’t zoom in on the mobile app, or put in multiple photos from way back in your photo library. It would be so much easier to drag and drop photos on a desktop or laptop. I’ve had BabyNotebook for 2 years and really want to finish and print my daughter’s baby book (not to mention starting ones for my other two kids) but I’m finding it so hard to do on a mobile app alone. Please please make a desktop version!!!

You pay for the subscription, then you pay for the book, then if you need more pages (which who doesn’t? This day and age all we do is snap pictures of our adorable little ones) you pay for those too! Before you know it, you’ve spent $200 on a book you can’t even fully customize. You can’t change anything layout wise about the book, you can’t add words over pictures. They have pre-chosen/made pages for you and you can not deviate or add anything on the pages they put together for you. IMO if you’re going to charge upwards of $200 for a baby book, make it more personable. Let us add text on a page with more than 3 pictures, let us layer it over a picture. Let us change the color of the page. Just some options.

I’ve been completing out the book with all my baby’s pictures and memories since she was born. I paid for the subscription and the book is until she gets one year old. Just few weeks before she turns one they locked my access to my book so I can’t do any changes and they are requesting a new subscription. They don’t even let you finish the book. You have to pay for subscription plus additional pages to add photos, plus the printing of the book and now I can’t access my information that’s more than $100 and I have nothing. If I want to enjoy and printing my book I have to pay for another year of subscription. I just don’t recommend it! I feel kind of scam and frustrated after spending so much money and time on creating this book and just before finishing getting blocked. Horrible experience!!!!

App lags and takes forever to do anything, especially rearranging pages. I’ve tried with my wifi, others wifi, and even just cell service and it’s all the same.

I would have loved to add text boxes where I want and additional pictures, shapes, and clip arts like stickers. I also would have liked to have page numbers or know which page would be on the left and right when printed.

If you start the book and subscription while pregnant, then your year subscription runs out before their first birthday and you have to renew the year to finish the book. So $100 for the subscription and then $100 for the book. I don’t think it’s worth it but I didn’t want to start all over with a different service. I hate that it renewed the year to only need it for a month.

I know the baby book we end up with will be cute, complete, and full of great memories. BabyNotebook has some shortcomings that are so frustrating though. If you want to try out a new layout, you lose everything you’ve done on the page. Unlike Shutterfly or other photo project platforms, you can’t save a bank of photos to work from which means you constantly have to scroll through the thousands of photos you take of your little one to go back and find the one you need. I also wish there were more flexibility in the design and layouts. I wish you could add extra titles or embellishments to pages and resize pictures and move them on the page instead of being locked into the arbitrary layout. I feel that you are paying enough for the subscription and ultimately the book that these features should be available.

First off, I love it, and it’s so perfect. I was able to keep up with it for most of the year and tried to monthly notate each months milestones but as a mother we all know it’s very hard to make time for this type of commitment. When my daughter reached one month I happened to look at my subscriptions and saw I had less than 1 month left to complete my book.l before I was charged another 50 dollars on top of the 150 I already spent. 200 dollars for a baby book if I wouldn’t have finished in time? I felt pressured to rush sweet moments while also working a full time job. Why in the world would you charge for extra time when I haven’t even finished.
Now comes the hesitation about doing the second year, life with a toddler is even more hectic so if I start off strong and get off track I know I’ll be charge even more for going over. I’ll probably for go the second year because of the stress but understand that businesses need money too. I paid 150 dollars for one book… and that’s not enough?

I am a second time mom and never created a baby book for my first because I was so overwhelmed with the new life transition and really regretted not making one.

I ended up being able to easily access archive photos of my first baby and build his book in parallel to real-time building a baby book for my second baby. It was easy to do it retro actively and even easier to do it in real time. I definitely recommend getting premium so you can edit the pages layout and prompts easily. that was particularly helpful when working on my son’s baby book 5 years late 😅

I have received my baby notebook OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I literally cried. It is soooooooooooo beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You all did an amazing job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I kind of underestimated this business and I am soooooo sorry. You all are doing a fantastic job with this. It is well written, it is big, the pictures are beautiful, the timeline makes perfect sense. It was well worth every dollar! Thank you soooooooooo much!!!!!! I show the girls at my work office and they loved it!!!!!!!!!! I’m officially a loyal customer because I do plan on having more babies and doing a notebook for all of them. Thank you again !!!

I am the person who busy journals and never uses them. So when it came to a baby book of memories, I was concerned about keeping up with information and pictures for it to be worth while. BabyNotebook and printing service took away all the stress of putting together a scrapbook of memories. I love how customizable it is and all the prompts to help make the book flow so well. When my book arrived, I cannot express how much happiness I felt! I finally finished a journaling project! Already working on the 2nd year book! Excited to continue using!

I absolutely love my baby book! BabyNotebook is simple to use. My husband and I enjoyed updating our son’s baby book each month. It was a cool way for us to keep track of all of his growth and experiences during his first year. The printed baby book is incredible! It’s a great size (coffee table book) and the picture quality is stunning. Everyone I have showed it to is super impressed. The customer service team is also amazing! They worked with me to fix a printing issue and they were very helpful and kind. I couldn’t recommend BabyNotebook and company enough!

I found out about BabyNotebook right around the time I gave birth to my third daughter. My oldest daughter has a semi-completed baby book. My second daughter has a couple of sentences written down in random months, but it’s mostly empty. This third baby hit the jackpot - this is the Cadillac of baby books and it was by far the easiest for me to mange. The hard part about the other traditional books was that they required sitting down with a pen and paper or printing and pasting photos. That takes so much more effort than quickly uploading a picture or adding a few sentences on my phone. Let’s be honest, when I was up at night with my kids and rocking them to sleep, I was playing on my phone anyway. With BabyNotebook, I could easily log in, upload a few pics, fill out a few milestones and could more or less stay up to date. You receive weekly reminder notifications so it helps keep you on track. By the end of my daughter’s first year, I was ready to print this amazing, full, complete book. There were a few pages that I didn’t care to be included, and I was able to hide those. Once I printed my book, it arrived quickly and was great quality. I’m so thankful I found BabyNotebook!

Okay I LOVE baby notebook! Obviously I’m obsessed with my baby and I’m obsessed with BabyNotebook to document her little life! It’s so fun choosing and adding pictures and writing about what’s going on. The prompts are super helpful for that, too, to give you ideas. I open BabyNotebook all the time and plug in photos while the baby is nursing or sleeping in my arms. I’m so excited to be building this beautiful book for her. We take so many adorable photos of our babes but it’s kind of sad to just leave them in our phones. I’m really excited to complete this book after a year and have it forever. It’s going to be super special for me and for the babe. Thank you baby notebook!!

I was always scared to try online apps for photo books but gave this one a shot and I AM LOVING MY BABY NOTEBOOK!!! It is worth it!!!!!! I actually paid for a professional photographer and bought their albums that’s cost me over $3k.. BabyNotebook is way better and I got to print every photo I wanted and truly captured my baby’s 1 year timeline!!!! It is very easy to use and the quality of the book is so good!!!! The paper quality is similar to my high school yearbook, that’s how great it is!!!!!! My photos weren’t blurry or stretched. It came out just like it is on BabyNotebook !! You can control and adjust each photo and change them to however you like!

I just received my son's baby book in the mail last week and WOW IT IS STUNNING! I am beyond happy with how it turned out, and so proud of myself for finishing it! I am absolutely the type of person that never gets around to finishing photo books, I get super overwhelmed by it. So when I discovered Baby Notebook I knew this was perfect for me. BabyNotebook was really easy to use, just enough customization options to make it unique and how you want it to look without being overwhelming. The book itself is large and very nice quality, and the design/style is beautiful. I know some of the reviews complained about the price and subscription, but for me it made sense because it did give me motivation to actually finish the book. I don’t think it’s too expensive at all, you get what you pay for and I promise it is worth every penny! I’ll definitely be continuing on with the toddler book for my son and recommending this to other mama’s I know. Thank you Baby Notebook!

I knew that doing an old fashioned scrapbook was unlikely to happen. In fact, I started one and gave up quickly. All of my photos are on my phone and I needed a way to make sure they get saved somewhere that we can actually look back on them. BabyNotebook is the solution for parents who want to make an organized album with their phone photos. Who doesn’t take photos with their phones now? It’s also great because I entered notes along the way about milestones that I definitely would not remember without inputting them in the book. Love my album. I wasn’t expecting it to be so nice but its large and just what I was looking for.

I downloaded BabyNotebook on a whim one day hoping to find an app that would help me create my daughters baby book without breaking the bank. BabyNotebook has EXCEEDED my expectations. BabyNotebook was super easy to use, the price is very reasonable, the developers reached out to me, same day I might add, when I had a question, and let me tell you about the book I received… perfect. The book is very sturdy, the pictures are so clear, the page layout isn’t overwhelming or overcrowded, it is hands down the most beautiful book I have ever seen. They created an app that was busy parent friendly, with prompts from month to month, milestones, favorite foods/places, etc. I adore BabyNotebook and the people who developed it for creating a book I can cherish forever. Hands down the best book money can buy.

I just got my baby book and I am just over the moon with how it turned out. I was looking for an easy baby book solution that I could do from my phone and this was it!

Pros:
-The book itself is large and honestly, stunning. I guess I didn’t pay attention to how big it would be because when it arrived I was taken aback at how large it was. Gorgeous!
-The model of the subscription REALLY holds you accountable to finish the book. I put weekly reminders on my phone to work on it and by the time my baby was 13.5 months old, I had the book in my hands. Considering that my wedding was 4 years ago and I STILL haven’t made our wedding album…. That’s saying something.
-The fonts and design are really pretty and trendy. I like the fonts and colors.

Cons:
-It’s not as flexible as designing your own book on say, Shutterfly. So if that’s really important to you, then I would use a service like that. That being said, it’s flexible ENOUGH. You can swap out pages and layouts and add pages, which I did.
-I wish they included a few extra pages such as pre-made pages for first holidays or Christening. I wound up adding these in myself.

All in all - highly recommend and I plan on using this if/when we have another child!

I absolutely am so happy that I found BabyNotebook . It is everything I wanted in a baby book. BabyNotebook is easy to use. I loved that I could upload the pictures straight from my phone and loved the quality of the pictures when I received my book. Biggest thing I love is that with it being custom made and the pictures being printed right now the pages, keeps every thing clean and simple vs having a book where you have to tape or glue pics on the pages - and overtime losing or having the pictures fade. The prompts are great too throughout the book and if you don’t know a title you can change it and create your own. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed In getting BabyNotebook or purchasing the book . My only advice is to really make sure you keep up with it monthly when you’re creating it, otherwise it may get overwhelming

I did my research before choosing it, and I am so happy about the final result. The printed book is high quality, and adding to it throughout the year was made easy by the design and customization options. They have a responsive support team, whenever I had a question along the way. I have twins, I made one book and had 2 copies printed. It’s great knowing that the love put into the framework for these books is the same as the love I put into the content. I know my daughters will love this gift.
