I’ve been very patient, but…

I have been playing this game for many months. However, the problems just keep coming. The latest being that I paid for the Buster Pass and was unable to claim any of the things I earned. I had faith they would fix that before the end of the “season” and they did. Claimed all my things up to the point I had reached. But I was a little behind so I settled in to play the number of levels needed to gather all items before the season ended. Before I could get there, the game dumped me out and I haven’t been able to get back in since. I also have areas where I should be able to put houses for boosters (following the flashing arrows), but the cloud cover isn’t moving out of the way. If it wasn’t for all the buggy problems, I would give this game 5 stars. I really enjoy it. But now it’s just always annoying.

September 9, 2022. New problem with one of my favorite games. It’s been at least a month since the game kicked me out again, but now when I open BubbleBuster2048 , it doesn’t even get past 0% loaded before it closes. You know, I’ve spent quite a bit of money to play this game and now I don’t even get to play. PLEASE RELEASE AN UPDATE THAT INCLUDES A FIX TO THIS PROBLEM.

Horrible Support

The game itself is fun and challenging. I really enjoy playing the game. I have become somewhat addicted to this game. I have been bummed that I haven’t been able to play for about a week now. Support leaves a lot to be desired. I have tried now on 2 different occasions to get help. One was from a purchase, when the game broke and I couldn’t collect any of the prizes for my purchase. This was a few months back. Now, ever since the last update, I cannot play the game at all. The game will not load up. I tried once again to contact support. The only way I can find to contact them is through the Facebook page and sending a message. I have found no other way way to contact them. No one ever responds to those messages. It’s seems like no one monitors the page. Support is the worst of any game I have played. I am now waiting for another game update, so I can play the game again. Sadly, I will be starting from day 1 again, when I was at 158. All that work for the daily gifts and I’m sure it’s gone now, since I can’t get the game to load. I have screenshots to show you what it’s doing. I keep trying every day, several times a day, to no avail. If anyone actually reads these, Please Help!

Decent but a little frustrating

I saw an ad for this and it was really fun even though it lagged a lot, so I thought I'd get it. It's pretty good, but it wouldn't load the first time I ran it. It just kept crashing until I turned my wifi on, but it didn't have an error message or anything to tell me it needed wifi. Once the game loads though, you can turn wifi off. I like the city-building element and the prizes you can earn from that, but the levels themselves are a bit difficult. The gravity is really strong, so if you try to hit the side of a bubble to push it over, it won't move. Other than that, it's a great concept. I just wish the bubbles could move around more, like in the ads.

Too many ads, etc…

Levels are short. Each level is followed by a long ad. Nearly impossible to X out of most ads, even when they are done. If you earn fewer than 3 stars on a level you can watch another ad to get your full complement of stars. Why? It’s not clear what the stars are used for. Between each level there is a city- building activity, for reasons that are not explained. You have to put buildings on available spaces and that’s it. Oh, there’s a “thief” to “catch” but no explanation of how to catch it so no real benefit for doing so. After you take a few seconds to place your building you go back to the main game or you see another long ad first. The actual game is not that bad for anyone who likes 2048 games and wants a little variety. I would have given it 3 stars but took off 2 because of false advertising. The ad had matching fruit shapes but the actual game is only numbered balls after 80 levels or more. Also, the game and ads freeze constantly, the game is a battery hog, and it heats up my phone within a few minutes. I’m currently stuck on a hard and uninteresting level so I may end up deleting. YMMV. It’s not terrible but not great.

Game cheats and no way to get support!

I’ve been playing this game for a while and several weeks I noticed something during the 2048 duels where you were playing against another player after each round It tallys up how many powerups etc you used. No I started realizing it would tell you up but then the next time it’s time to to it up not all of your previous tally was there anymore. So for the last week or two each time at tallies up I take a screenshot. And sure enough the game is not giving you everything it should. Perfect example if at the end of a tally I have seven and I need 20 and then I play again the next time it’ll say I had six and then will add to that. So it’s actually taking items away from you when you’re playing against another player and that’s not right it’s not fair and I’m gonna give it another week or two if it doesn’t straighten out I will delete the game. What’s even worse is there is no way to report the game even here in BubbleBuster2048 Store if you click app support it takes it to their website but there’s no place on their website to report glitches or problems at the game

Kind of disappointed

This game is fun and relaxing and cool, does not give you many adds but it had a “piggy bank” that collects nearly all the money you earn from winning a level and the game lies and says it will “break open” once you save $3000 in it but, No you have to pay for it to open! And I know it’s a small price but most people that are going to want to get this game are kids that don’t have money on their phone to spend and parents don’t like to “waste their money on games” and it takes away from the experience of the game because it takes nearly all the coins you earn from completing the level and tells you you have to pay to get the coins you earned!
I was expecting this game to be relaxing and fun where you could spend your coins on power ups but if you have to pay money to get your coins to actually have fun with the game it’s not a fun game.
If you did not have to pay money to get the coins that you earn then I would give this game 4 stars.

Fun & a major time killer :))

Fun game with some cute gimmicks. I don’t care for the duels but can’t figure out a way to stop it..not a deal breaker…playing is fun anyway :))
I hate ads, so of course I coughed up the $10 to get rid of them. Before I had done that, I wish I had known my play time would be driven by how busy their server must be. It only lets me on to play early in the morning (like 5-6 am)…& sometimes late at night (after 10 pm). This really stinks!!! If you spend $10 for a game, you should *bleeping* we’ll be able to play it ANYTIME you want to!!!
I am going along great from 5 - 6 in the morning, it crashes & then I am screwed until MAYBE around my lunch hour (not usually)….until after 10 pm! Whenever I try to reopen the game it loads to 20% & then stops…won’t budge & then closes again :((
This is WRONG! At this point, I am so frustrated, I would delete the game if I could get my money back. I know I won’t ever buy any more games from this developer, unless they get their act together so that you get what you paid for.

A great example of how a developer can kill a game.

Game was fun at first. You had to watch an ad at the beginning and end of each level. Ok, sure… it’s free to play, I get it. But then an update introduced ads at every turn. The game is so anxious to show ads it sometimes does it over gameplay, or will lock up your phone. More than once the games ad frenzy has caused me to have to close BubbleBuster2048 mid-game.

Now, I’m on level 383. My “town” has a couple hundred people living in it, although I’m not sure what the town is for or why I’m building it. This last update was the final straw for me though. I had accumulated a healthy supply of rockets through the town building mechanic… and when I log in today, they’re gone. Hundreds of rockets just gone. No explanation, no warning, just gone.

Nope, sorry. This was a fun time waster until you start taking from me. There are plenty of other free time wasting apps on BubbleBuster2048 Store that I can amuse myself with. You can get your ad revenue from someone else, I’m out.

Fun and challenging

I like this game! It’s a fun way to pass a little time away. It’s just challenging enough to where some levels I fail and have to just be more strategic to pass it. It’s worth it to pay to get rid of the ads and maybe a couple dollars here and there for more coins in case you just need a few more balls to pass a really hard level. The town-building seems useless, but you really only spend a couple of seconds after each level on it. They give you one special level a day from the strawberry building, which is where the fruits are from the original ad. The sounds of the game while you’re playing are pleasant to listen to. I play on my old iPad and it does seem to use a lot of battery on it for some reason. I’m on level 92 and so far, so good!

Game is fun, but could be better. App itself is very glitchy.

I’m stuck on level 404 right now because it has started doing this fun thing where if an ad plays mid-level then once the ad is over the screen goes black and there is no way to go back to the level. Only way to move along is to force quit BubbleBuster2048 , thereby ruining your chance at passing the level. This is extremely annoying and if it persists, I will just give up.

I listen to podcasts while I play and the ads constantly not only overtake my audio they completely clear my now playing so I can’t just unpause the podcast from the control panel and keep playing. I have to reopen my podcast app and start playing it, then go back to the game app.

Also it would make a lot more sense to be able to chose when to deploy your bonuses like rockets etc during the level, rather than forcing you to use them right at the beginning. It’s dumb. Often they aren’t useful yet.

Not at all what the ad shows

I am only writing this review because I was very disappointed with what the game actually was and if you feel the same way, I want you to be able to get BubbleBuster2048 you actually wanted. The video part of the ad shows colorful blocks with no numbers being dropped onto each other to merge them together, the game that is actually showing is Color merge block who ch is a different game. Then the part of the ad that you play to try it out was merging fruits that is the game Fruit merge. The game that you download if you download this game, is where you merge together bubbles that have numbers on them to try and complete levels. The levels have barrels chains boxes and more that you need to get rid of in order to finish the level but once you get to the levels in the 100s, they are pretty much impossible to complete. I am very sorry if you had to go through what I did when purchasing BubbleBuster2048 and if you did I hope this helps you out.

Went From Taking Up Too Much Space to Not Loading

This game used to be amazing and now it won’t even load. I made it into the 1000+ levels and it was taking up 17GBs of space on my phone! I complained to the developers and they insisted it was because I was so far along in the game…which is insane given that I couldn’t even access any of the previous levels so I don’t know what was being stored - just the graphics for my large town?! About a month ago, BubbleBuster2048 stopped on the loading page and wouldn’t move past it. After several days of this, I deleted and redownloaded it, losing all of my progress. Now, BubbleBuster2048 will open for the first few levels and then it gets stuck on the loading page again. I’ve also noticed big differences between how BubbleBuster2048 used to be and what it is now - including the daily fruit level is gone and the town is very different. But, really, what good is a game that you can’t actually play?

Way to many ads!!!

This game would have been really fun however ALL the enjoyment is sucked out of it by bombarding the player with ads. Yes they let you pay to stop the ads however 9.99 seems a little greedy and you still have to watch ads for bonus item anyway. This is basically an app to watch commercials for other terrible games that are nothing like the ads. When you start a level there is an ad, if your playing there are 2 places in the play screen that will take you to more ads that already placed where you tap it by accident while playing! When you finish a level there is an ad at the end. Did I mention you cannot even skip the ads. It’s absolutely ridiculous. If you like wasting time watching the same garbage over and over then this would be good for you. Unfortunate because the actual bubble game is fun and challenging. Don’t download this trash. Save your money for something of actual value!!

I LOVE THIS GAME

so funny story i actually thought it was called bubble blaster and that’s what i call it i never call it bubble buster haha anyway i love this game so much i play it every single day and it’s a great way to pass time. i literally could spend hour on it. i don’t like how many ads there are but eh. also it’s nice when you unlock a chest and it gives you like unlimited lives for an hour or however long the time is but i don’t like that there’s such a long wait time for another life. but other than that i love it. i mostly just play levels i don’t really build houses be used for the like free coins and the hammers and stuff like that. but yes i love this game and i would 100% 10/10 recommend to anyone :)

Fix Level 249

I was literally obsessed with this game. It was so much fun and so addicting that I paid to get rid of the excessive and annoying ads. A few days ago I started having issues where there would be an invisible ball or block. I continued on not thinking much of it. However now the game crashes every time I try to play level 249. Based on recent reviews, I am not the only one running into this problem. I couldn’t find anywhere on the Voodoo website for “app support” so here I am. Additionally, despite paying to remove ads there are still a lot of attempts the game makes to make you watch ads for bonuses and other advancements. The full piggy bank of coins you earn also can’t be accessed unless you pay even more. Please fix these things so I can give the game rating more stars and continue playing! Otherwise I really would like a refund :/

Ad’s, ad’s, and more ad’s

I already have a few main games I play but saw the ad for BB & decided to try it. Unfortunately their ad’s are almost impossible to click off, they NEVER go away! It’s not just this game but since I already have games I’ve played for years I will put up with their ad’s but can’t take on another game with endless ad’s & not interested in finding out a work around…not worth it.

But game itself is all right…it was fun watching them merge together to become double the original number…I only progressed as far as the numbers. I like cause & effect and this merge game makes sense to me, unlike other games I tried. I was sad when I reached the goal because I wanted to see how much more I could attain…lol…I just wanted to keep merging numbered balls, but after winning a level there was an ad and this last time I clicked the ‘x’ 10 times and it never did go away to let mecreturn to the game. I even watched TV for few minutes before I clicked again…it didn’t help. I know why we watch ad’s but this is getting extreme. I don’t need to play a game for this hassle.

Last thing, as you progress through game you build a town…been there-done that, so town building has no interest for me, especially when the graphics are so simple, and childish. I didn’t care at all for town part.

This game was a good diversion only for a few minutes.

Frustrated with the “town”

I play this game everyday, I’m on level 600, and have 1000 people in my town. I like the building a town aspect but I wish I could zoom out further to be able to see my whole town. I hate how u have to scroll around a ton to see everything. A zoom out feature would be appreciated.

I really like the new update. The ability to watch an ad or spend 300 coins for 5 balls has saved me a lot of time. Being only a couple balls off from a win is always frustrating so being able to watch an ad and then get 5 balls is my favorite new feature. As someone who plays this game A LOT, I’m sure the devs are making good money off my ad watching >.<

Great game!

Update: Many, many levels have been added and you can now go back and play previous levels once you complete all levels. It’s at random and seems to repeat some of the same games but I’m addicted nonetheless.

The ads are short and easy to skip. Plenty of free boosters to help you pass hard levels. Wish there were instructions or definitions on some of the items and the town building is a little confusing but overall, a very fun game. I’m at level 915 and waiting for more levels to be added so I can keep playing. Wish I could go back and play previous levels. Some are really fun and I want to replay! 😂

Ads, ads, and more ads

This could be a fun game, but there is an ad after every level, usually paired with an additional ad that pops up after you’ve finished a level — but before you get your score for that level.

It’s easy to get extra time to play, and the levels are challenging enough but not ridiculous (ie no failing the same level over and over until you just stay away from the game for days, only to find when you return the level is solvable).

But the ads. Most of them freeze so you need to exit the game and restart. Most of them are also ridiculously long. Some of them make you engage before you can even hope to see the X for closing.

And, YMMV, but I’ve seen so many ads for games that pdestroy human-shaped objects, which is a disturbing design choice.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the gameplay doesn’t match the ads for this game that bring you to BubbleBuster2048 Store. No bouncy fruits or kush balls or blocks. It’s just numbered balls. The one bonus game I unlocked did have vague fruit shapes, but nothing like the more elegantly coded ones from the ad.

Wish Apple had stricter guidelines on ads matching games, but even more important, any sort of rules or guidelines on how ads work within games.

What’s going on?

The “update” has made BubbleBuster2048 even worse. It freezes on the startup screen at 22%. It also takes money for purchases then freezes so you don’t receive the purchase but they take your money. The few times I actually got past the start screen these past couple weeks, everything about the gameplay from the stages to the little city is glitchy and freezes. I even waited for a couple of months for new levels to be uploaded because I thought the future updates with new levels would be worth it. I am past level 1,300 so I obviously like the game, but it has gone from a stress reliever to a stressor to play with the few short mins of downtime I can carve out on any given day. If it is not fixed soon, I will have to stop wasting my time (and money) and delete it.

By

You have to keep playing to really appreciate this game

I have to admit I deleted this game twice before I realized there really is a skill to playing. At first I deleted around level 400 & then again around 300. Now I’m at level 2119 & obviously am addicted. It’s my go to game above all others. If you don’t mind navigating through the ads. It’s one of the better free games & I haven’t paid for extras & gotten this far. So the ads are worth my patience to play this game. UPDATE After reaching almost level 3000, going through watching all the ads, (& there are a lot) having to reboot over & over again due to blacked out or frozen screens, some ad for a stupid looking chef saying “tap to grill it” game kept popping up in the middle of my game. I finally downloaded it to make it stop. That didn’t help. So I tried to delete the new game I just downloaded & it deleted my Bubble Buster 2048 game along with my 2900+ levels! I’m done. All my months of playing down the drain so to speak. So frustrating after supporting this game & giving it 5 star reviews, once upon a time, I loved this game but they really need to fix the glitches. 😡

Broken Ad

I used to love this game and I played it every day, but all of a sudden there’s this new ad for a burger flipping game or something. There were ads before and that’s fine, but this ad forces you to play the game and theres no way to get rid of it and get back to the actual app itself. I’ve tried playing it the full way through and it won’t go away, if you sit and do nothing it won’t go away, no button to close it ever pops up. I’ve tried playing it until I couldn’t anymore and eventually any time you tap the screen it takes you to BubbleBuster2048 Store, but when you try to go back the ad is still there. The only way to get it to go away is to completely close out of BubbleBuster2048 and restart it, but I’ve found that this ad pops up so often and so randomly that even if I close out BubbleBuster2048 entirely, I’ve got about 5 seconds to play the actual game before this ad pops up. I’m really upset, I’ve genuinely enjoyed this game for a long time and it seems like I might end up having to uninstall it because of this. What’s the point of having BubbleBuster2048 if I can’t play the game

Too many adds, to much to pay for.

I understand that the free version would have adds, however, there is an add after each level, and then two more before the level even starts. Also, there is a piggy bank that fills with *earned* coins, but then you have to pay actual money to break it. Should be an option to watch adds instead. (I know I’ve complained about adds during level play, but as an option to break the piggy bank adds would be reasonable.) Also, there are some minor bugs and crashes that have happened, and I’ve not yet played 100 levels. For example there is a present with balloons. I popped the balloons it then a building house option started (ballon’s near the hammer) and I never got the package. Now the package floats around with no balloons, so it is inaccessible. I enjoy the levels and the building, it is relaxing and fun, however the other items I mentioned make the game almost more annoying than fun.

Glitchy

When it works, I absolutely love this game. However, I’ve been having some problems with it. I initially thought that it was just my iPad (it’s an old one), but it’s also having trouble on my phone. The screen randomly freezes up. Sometimes, it goes black and kicks me out of BubbleBuster2048 . I decided to just deal with that, because I really like the game, but now I can’t even do that. An interactive ad came up for some kind of restaurant game. It’s a really stupid ad, but it’s only supposed to last for about 30 seconds. The problem is, I can’t get rid of it. I fully deleted and re-downloaded BubbleBuster2048 , and within 10 seconds, it was back. I tried the “report a problem” section in BubbleBuster2048 Store, but it wouldn’t let me select which game I was requesting help for. I’ll gladly remove this review and replace it with a more positive one once the problem is resolved, but it’s really infuriating.

This game has saved my life

I am not being dramatic - this game has honestly been my lifeline through grief, loss, and soul crushing depression on a daily basis for probably 18 months now. Something about it has been so calming and soothing to my brain, and I don’t know what I’d have done without it. The haptics buzzing in my hands I think have a lot to do with the self-regulation it creates for me.

What I also appreciate about it is I don’t have to spend a bunch of money to enjoy the game, and I’m happy to watch ads for extras from time to time. Yes, I’ve paid for a couple packages here and there to show some love to the developers.

Thanks for creating such a fun, uncomplicated, soothing game for my troubled and neurodivergent brain. I am truly so grateful!!

Love the game but…..

I have been playing the game for over 2 years for literally hours every day in my down time at my job and I purchased the “no ads” version a few years ago. Out of no where the game started refusing to open and I tried everything that I could and finally uninstalled and reinstalled it. Well that was a huge mistake since now it deleted all of my progress and it couldn’t find my purchase history. I decided to just start over again with the levels and have been playing on the new account for almost 2 months. I finally purchased the “no ads” version the other day (again) and since then the game will not open and will show loading to 22% before shutting off every time. I regret purchasing it and I have no idea how to fix it so I can get back to playing it.
