I've yet to find a music streaming app with as much love put into it as Poolsuite FM. The nostalgic summer aesthetic is so well executed that it almost feels like a crime to leave PoolsuiteFM running in the background, not to mention THE MUSIC.

The songs -- all provided via SoundCloud -- fit perfectly with the aesthetic PoolsuiteFM is going for. It's so easy to picture yourself by a pool or beach listening to these tracks. If there's any criticism I could possibly make, it's that PoolsuiteFM version starts off on the same track each time PoolsuiteFM opens (i.e. "need a girl like shego" when choosing the "hangover club" station), but it honestly feels like nitpicking.

TLDR; if PoolsuiteFM won't make you want to go swimming you're probably dead inside.

Poolsuite FM is fun to listen to and appeals to people feeling nostalgic over loss of technology while still being modern. But there are a couple things that irritate me endlessly as a user including the same songs playing when I first open PoolsuiteFM and there being no fast forward or rewind button.

The same songs are playing when I first open PoolsuiteFM most days. It isn’t that I don’t like those songs per say… It is more like that if those songs were to pop up occasionally through out the day as I listen, then that feels more exciting than being fed the same round of food almost every time I stop in. If I like the song, I will favorite the first time I listen. There is no need to keep playing it straight away in case I may suddenly decide I like it. Perhaps this is an error between PoolsuiteFM and my phone? I am not stuck on my favorites playlist or anything. I wonder if someone must pay Poolsuite FM to be the first person played and that is what is causing this? I used to think maybe the songs were very limited in number and this caused repetitiveness, but I have realized I can listen extendedly and hear a new song every time as long as I skip the first four or so songs. This is something I do not understand.

Again, I would appreciate a fast forward and rewind button. Right now all we have is the option to skip or go back.

PoolsuiteFM itself has a nice retro design, is very functional, and when it works, it works great. The problem is that 4 out of 5 times when I open it, no music plays. I get a notice that they've overloaded their soundcloud API and to try again later. No matter how long I leave it open, it never starts. The website seems to work, so usually I just use that. It's a shame, because PoolsuiteFM itself is a great throwback to how music players use to look, and I'd like to use it. The problem is that this great app usually just...doesn't.

I'm not lying when I say I've CRIED bc of beautifully designed PoolsuiteFM is. It was made for people like me. Been recommending it to all my friends like crazy!! I've abandond most of my other music player apps too. PoolsuiteFM is spectacular, heavenly made, and divine! At first, I downloaded it for the aesthetic and forgot about it for months, but when I stumbled upon it accidently while clearing up some apps on my Mac n actually tried it for the first time I fell in LOVE. i was SMITTEN. The whole easthetic in PoolsuiteFM , website, soundclod, ig, and the MUSIC (oh the music) makes me feel like floating over the clouds. LOVE IT!! xo

Ok, so here’s the thing. If you’ve know Poolside, you know how awesome the music selection and retro vibe is. PoolsuiteFM takes it to the next level.

Huge shout out to Marty and the team on this. This is the kind of music you want to lay out by the beach, by the pool, drive around the city, play at a party - no need to create curated lists. Nothing embarrassing plays either, just really good dreamy music.

It will become your go to music app to just get away from all the chaos in the world. Love this.

This is a great musical app. Uninterrupted streams of music from soundcloud, great looking UI that you can palette swap like a gameboy color. I’d love to see this get more attention and updates. A full screen visualiser and shuffle or reshuffle button for the stations are my top suggestions. More themed video clips for the visualiser and maybe unique videoclips per station would be great too. Horizontal mode would be nice too!

All in all, love keeping PoolsuiteFM open tableside

I really like the aesthetics of PoolsuiteFM and the music choices are exceptional. Better than W Hotel app ever was.

BUT…listening quickly becomes a frustrating experience because PoolsuiteFM stops streaming the playlist after one or two songs requiring me to advance by one or two songs to get PoolsuiteFM to play again. Just not a lot of fun to have to keep manually “pushing” the playlist along. It’s really too bad because I think Poolsuite FM is easily 5 Star potential.

First of all, I absolutely adore your app. I love everything about what you guys are doing and listen to all your mixes on the daily.

And because of that, I wanted to let you know that currently the favorites station doesn’t work on PoolsuiteFM ! I think it might have happened with the most recent update, just letting you know!

Please keep on. Can’t wait to see what you guys do next. Maybe... a Poolside FM hotel in Miami?!

I am thrilled that Poolside FM has finally come to IOS! PoolsuiteFM works seamlessly and love that PoolsuiteFM has the functionality to keep playing music when I am doing other tasks! The developers did a great job making a new poolside experience still feel familiar!

In the future, I would like to have the ability to change PoolsuiteFM icon to different appearances! The classic Poolside FM logo would look groovy!

Saw this and didn't think much of it, but the aesthetics caught my attention, and holy moly the website, PoolsuiteFM , the instagram and the overall experience is ON POINT!! Quick plug, they have a donate option, and I can say they deserve the support because they really delivered, but hey no pressure, just my opinion. Thank you to the folks at Poolside FM!!

This is PoolsuiteFM we have been waiting for, it’s amazing! One thing I noticed is that switching from one channel to the other and then back to the original channel, the “playlist” starts from the very beginning in the same order with the same songs. This should be auto-shuffled in future builds, shouldn't hear the same songs in the same order. 4/5 stars for that.

This is by far one of the most, if not the most creative app I have ever seen. It combines the perfect combination of aesthetic feels, summer vibes, and a really creative approach to both functionality and looks. 5 Stars probably the best app I have ever downloaded, keep up the amazing work! I look forward to more channels being added :)

I don’t usually write reviews but I have to for this one! PoolsuiteFM is everything. At first I have it on my mac but when I saw the notification that it available on mobile I have to download it right away. It was the best decision ever omg. I love the poolcam and the layout is soooo aesthetic I can’t stop looking at my screen. The music are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!

Poolsuite FM app feels like SOMA FM's 16-bit baby sister. Poolsuite FM similarly streams music in a selection of channels. There are currently six channels: Poolsuite FM; Latest 20 Tracks; Indie Summer; Hangover Club; Tokyo Disco; and Friday Nite Heat. There's little difference between these; all channels play synth-driven, dreamy vocal tracks with a late 80s / early 90s vibe. If you're looking for light, vaguely pleasant but ultimately forgettable music to stream in a coffeeshop background inoffensively, Poolsuite FM may be PoolsuiteFM for you.

PoolsuiteFM is amazing. It’s so good. I don’t understand how to generate that amazing retro nostalgia experience so well.

The music is sooooo good. It’s literally the best tracks in the genres. The best music song selection ever! It’s all the channels.
Way more consistent likes then most radio station I listen too.

PoolsuiteFM instantly puts me in a good mood when I turn it on. The colors and design and user interface is insane. It gives a very fresh feeling to being on my iPhone or MacBook again. I listen to it all day pretty much lol.

Just download this to increase enjoyment in your life hahaha

Feedback: There are a few bugs when you AirPlay from your iPhone... 1) You can’t control the volume from your phone, and 2) When you switch from an AirPlay source, AppleTV for example, back to your iPhone the music stops yet opening PoolsuiteFM it shows playing.

I use PoolsuiteFM all the time on my iPhone, but I am about to uninstall the MacOS version because it won't let you hear more than two songs without asking to sign in. The iPhone app does not have this problem, and I will be sticking to that version from now on.

recently, there’s been a bug introduced that inhibits continuous play for any of the radios i choose - the song will stop at completion and I have to manually “skip” to the next song in the playlist. makes PoolsuiteFM unusable for me, which is so sad! please fix this soon, miss my tunes 💋

The design, music and everything about PoolsuiteFM feels absolutely perfect... never seen anything like it... although I think PoolsuiteFM icon should be changed to match the overall theme and UI... if you want to relax or do some work, would absolutely recommend it.

OMG I saw that it was nominated for an Apple Design Award and checked it out and this is INSANELY good. My only complaint is I don't see a way to donate for this EXQUISITE experience. Where is there a donate link or a way for me to show my support and enthusiasm other than writing this?? Everything, PoolsuiteFM , music, website, instagram, etc - all so good!

poolside FM is one of the only things getting me through covid. if i close my eyes, i feel like there's a warm breeze running through my farrah fawcett locks as i rollerskate down the santa monica beach with my walkman blasting... instead of the harsh reality of coming up on the sixth month of continuous quarantine in a tiny nyc apartment. bless the poolside FM team

There's just something delightful about PoolsuiteFM. It's so simple and easy to use, and gives you that nostalgia vibe.

One suggestion: Float on Top would be more appealing to me if I could "minimize" the player into a single bar, just like I do with the Stickes app on Mac. Thanks!

I'm old enough to have worked on Macs with the interface PoolsuiteFM pays homage to, and young enough to appreciate the incredible, curated playlists pumping musical sunshine through my speakers. It's a nice shot of happiness during a really weird time.

Loved the Poolside FM website before this and stoked to see this and an iOS app coming. Can't think of a single suggestion, other than maybe more stations!

Literally my only complaints: I can't pay money for it and it's missing the tv feature of the website

Its just the player, it doesn't make your whole computer look like the website haha. Very nice and out of the way.

I was excited when I received an email saying Poolside FM was available to download through PoolsuiteFM Store. Love the music!! Was easy and fast to download.

If you live non-lyrical low-fi and high beat groovy music that creates immensely positive vibes this is for you! Not only aetheticly appealing on your laptop but great music to get work done to!

OMG!! I saw PoolsuiteFM on the discover page and decided to download it. I love all the songs and the cateorgies that you can select. The icon reminds me of the 90s and I love the 90s vibes.

Serioulsy one of my fav apps. Been using the Poolside browser app for a while and I'm so glad to see a Mac app and soon a Mobile app. Poolside is the best. Fav vibes to work and hang out to!

I didn't know I wanted this, and i didn't know I wanted the music this streams, until I discovered it and loved it.
