App is not functioning properly. Rarely loads and does not allow holds to be placed on books when it does load. Not functional.

Better than the old app; however, there are some features that I would have liked to carry over. The main feature I miss is the ability to register all library cards for a family in BrowardCountyLibraries to make for easy book checkout for multiple family members.

App doesn’t load most of the time. Doesn’t offer the option to browse books by genre and age group. Also doesn’t list newest books by genre. Would also like a feature to recommend books. Would also like to be able to pay fines through app.

Love BrowardCountyLibraries! There are many books I want to read and BrowardCountyLibraries makes it so easy to look for available copies and even place them on hold. BrowardCountyLibraries also helps with keeping track of what’s checked out and due dates. 5 stars easy!!

Could be a better app for such a great service, love borrowing books from the library, when I have a hold ready to borrow I can only do it on a computer not through BrowardCountyLibraries . Not super functional only useful to open ebooks I have in my borrowed items

BrowardCountyLibraries won’t fully load each time. I have to eventually delete it and download it again, and then again, enter my library number.
The previous Broward county library was basic but I never saw this problem. Surely you have seen this issue during testing? Surely you can fix this? Should not have released this with this problem.

The old app was so much more functional. This takes forever to load. Don’t really have more benefits because it moved slowly. Can’t place anything on hold. If you have a fee you can’t see the break down I mean it’s just really taking up space at the moment.

I use the library online catalog frequently. It is very frustrating that BrowardCountyLibraries never loads and when it finally loads everything is blank. BrowardCountyLibraries is completely useless. I access everything through the Broward County Library website. It would be a lot more convenient to have a working app. Please fix and make it usable.

BrowardCountyLibraries has recently been updated. Mine wasn’t working I deleted BrowardCountyLibraries and downloaded it again now it is working.

Takes a long time to load and then never opens. I have to open BrowardCountyLibraries multiple times before I works

As the other reviewer commented, the new app doesn’t have ability to remember all my family’s library cards. Also, BrowardCountyLibraries is not notifying me that my hold is available for pickup; old app emailed a notice. I also have SMS enabled but didn’t receive text notification either. Frustrating!!

I’m on an iPhone 6.0. Downloaded twice and it’s not working at all. Show nothing but the menu. That’s it. Keep working on it! I used the old one in a daily basis and am so excited for the new one! I’ll try again in a couple of days when maybe the kinks have been worked out.

BrowardCountyLibraries never works. It takes ages to load and then when it does it’s just a blank white screen with a drop down menu in the corner that drops down nothing. My family loves the library and BrowardCountyLibraries is extremely disappointing

I do not understand why I can log in on my computer and iPad but not on my iPhone. I use the same sign in for all and for the last few weeks cannot use my phone for the website. Most importantly I can’t show my card.

SECOND REQUEST: Please fix this. Pressing the logout bar should clear the data in card number and passcode fields — it does not. Logout is only completed by backspacing through those fields. App should work better than website — it doesn’t.

I used to use the original app which was consistently functional but since the new one was introduced it consistently fails abd doesn’t load. I have to keep re-installing it so it works for a few days. Awful app and needs to be improved!!

Have attempted to load and use BrowardCountyLibraries to no avail. NEVER opens. A complete failure. I can't understand how BrowardCountyLibraries was even approved for use and fielded. As basic and clunky as the previous library app was it at least worked.

Takes 10+ tries to actually load to be able to use. On the rare occasion it works, it’s okay. Would be nice to add my kids cards to BrowardCountyLibraries . But first things first, get BrowardCountyLibraries to work at least 90% of the time.

BrowardCountyLibraries is completely non functional. It typically hangs and on the rare occasion that it loads, attempts to reserve books meet with failure. Needs a makeover. Please remove from BrowardCountyLibraries Store until it has been repaired and tested successfully.

App often does not load. Even when you close out and try again it does not open.

Very different from and not as usable as the website, which was also recently designed to its detriment. Can’t manage holds, can’t perform a basic search, and other features are missing. Freezes regularly. Whoever redesigned BrowardCountyLibraries and the website around 2019 should be packing groceries or washing dishes, not designing apps. The only thing that works consistently about it is the ability to show your library card and scan it.
