Great app with some possible tweaks.

I love DividendTracker. I am somewhat mathematically challenged, so having everything clearly laid out is awesome. I don’t even know if the tweaks I would like are possible, but if so, even better. I have several stocks that regularly hand out special or irregular dividends, yet those do not appear included in my income projections after they have been declared. Also, resetting the growth rates doesn’t stick and is cumbersome to adjust for high-growth stocks. It seems that when I change it, it is back to the default the next time I open DividendTracker . But overall, DividendTracker is pretty awesome!

Great app, hope to see it develop more!

DividendTracker is great so far. It really does help keep track of your portfolio(s) well. I’d like to see some more features included in up coming versions: 1) the ability to see your overall portfolio/dividend estimated growth over time. 2) the ability to check theoretical additions to portfolio and how it would affect it. 3) the ability to see how an increase in yield percentage would affect your dividend payments over time. Of course all of those are just projections, so not necessary. DividendTracker is completely worth your money already.

Solid app

I really like DividendTracker. Definitely could use some improvements. It's the best dividend tracking app I've tried out.
I'm unable to add MNMD to my portfolio, even though it's listed in DividendTracker and trades on the NASDAQ. Also, dividend info for QQQM is not accurate/current.
Layout is decent. As others have stated the color scheme could use some tweaking. It would be great if you could modify the purchase date of your shares. DividendTracker currently assumes all of your portfolio holdings were acquired prior to the ex-dividend date. Switching between portfolios is a bit cumbersome as well. I paid for the upgraded version and would definitely renew if upgrades and changes are made.

Good app, but needs a few things

This is a very good app. I like the recent update for when you buy/sell a stock. It’s simple to use and input data, and shows all the info you really care about.

But it’s missing two key features for a dividend app. First it should give you the option to select if this stock is going to be a DRIP. Then if it is, on the divided payout date reflect you new shares and over stock info such as price etc. Instead I have to manually try to find that info a input by hand which could be wrong and throw off everything. Lastly like most people back and forth from iPad to my iPhone. But DividendTracker doesn’t support sync or cloud sharing. This is very important feature to have.

Best app and best customer service

Love DividendTracker . Shows me clearly what my dividends are doing, tells me when the ex date is due, when and how much I will receive and how much I need to invest to reach my income goals. Plus all sorts of interesting data on the stock I have or am interested on.
Had a glitch in DividendTracker after an IOS update and their CS worked incessantly until it solved my problem, all the time communicating with me. Shout out to John who made it all better.

Unable to Use APP on other devices

I purchased an annual subscription on my iPad. I also downloaded DividendTracker on my iPhone. I could not set up multiple portfolios on my iPhone in the same manner that I could on my iPad because o couldn’t access the pro vsersion. I contacted customer support and they suggested that I click restore purchases on the iPhone in order to get the pro version on my phone. That option did not work. Plus customer support says that DividendTracker does not support cloud based services to I’ll have to enter all of my stock info manually for my iPhone. I have have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and and iPad Pro. The features of DividendTracker are useful. It’s just a shame that I can’t use the pro version on my iPhone too.

Good app, a few improvements needed

Really like DividendTracker so far, paid to get the upgrade. The data visualization on DividendTracker is nice but there are a few features I’d love to see and some bugs fixed. If these are addressed then I will upgrade my review to a 5 star.

- Changing the horizon stock price growth and dividend growth actually makes the estimates go the wrong way. If I increase the dividend yield and stock appreciation, DividendTracker will lower the estimated growth instead of increase it.
- DividendTracker REALLY needs a way to sync between devices. If I make changes to my portfolio on my iPhone, I have to manually update the changes on my iPad since it doesn’t sync.
- If you have multiple positions, the pie chart will show a few as the same color sometimes.
- It would be great to see at a glance the overall gain/loss of positions. Currently it shows the overall portfolio gain/loss but to see it for individual positions you have to look at each one individually.

Love the App

Love your app. One suggestion…Can you allow for a portfolio to have the same stock entered multiple times? I have two portfolios with the same stock at a different cost basis, and I would like to include all my stocks under one portfolio without having to switch back and forth between portfolios in DividendTracker . Currently I have to average out the cost basis from my two portfolios to include them under one entry.

Update with iCloud was a Winner

Thank you so much for updating DividendTracker with iCloud syncing support. I was getting real tired of updating three different devices every time I added/deleted an investment. Just in time as I was getting ready to pull the plug on my annual subscription renewal. Now please just make it Universal and take advantage of the screen real estate afforded by iPads and iPad Pros. It looks OK on an iPhone but almost childish on an iPad. Look to DivTracker as an example of a sophisticated and informative user interface.

Great app

Love DividendTracker it seems to keep track of the divided disbursement accurately, as long as you input your correct amount of stocks owed. My only complaint would be you have to make a separate portfolio for all your stocks if you combine them together like 401k, Roth etc. it then get counted in your overall portfolio and throws your amount off. I would like to see where you can have an overall total portfolio that isn’t added to the overall total on the same account.

So far so good!

I’ve only been using DividendTracker about a month but I can see how helpful it will be going forward. I’ll update after a few cycles to see how the reinvestment calculations go.
As far as support, I had a problem syncing PRO to my iPhone from my iPad. After several emails back and forth John was able to figure out the issue and solve my problem.

Great, but not perfect

I have been using DividendTracker for about a month and it has been really easy to use. I like the clean graphics and it does not overwhelm you with data you can find on your brokerage page. My single compliant is that DividendTracker does not sync across devices, so I have to update both my phone and iPad when I edit my holdings. Otherwise, it’s a very useful app for tracking your dividend investments and worth the $10 annual subscription fee.

Good for a start

I like how it shows what’s coming and what’s suspend. But I wish they add more funds like SWPPX AND SWISX, SWAGX, I would like to see compound effect over time would be a great add on, I like it overall

Update

This has become my go to app, developer added the things I wanted personally and quickly. Great app fair Subs price, I highly recommend DividendTracker . Please keep the updates coming, it’s getting better and better

Good Idea, Bad Implementation

First of all, any reasonable thinking person will tell you that 3 stocks is not an adequate test by a long shot. Maybe if most people owned only 3. Used it for how long it took me to add 3 stocks. Second, while I understand that money is a major part of app upkeep, keep in mind that no everyone wants to be paying a monthly or yearly subscription. Some of us would prefer to buy outright. Third, I hope the color scheme changes, if not you need to rethink it. Lastly, no need to respond to this review. I will be looking elsewhere to keep track of over 30 holdings.

This is a fantastic app!

Once you get it set up it’s really quick to review your holdings and see how you did on the day.

I install this on my iPad and I also installed on my iPhone and restored purchases to unlock all the features. But there is no ability to sync the data from the iPad app to the IPhone. I can’t enter all the data on two devices.

The app is pretty good buuuuut

Ok so I really love using your app, but there are a few stocks that I have picked up that are not on your data list I’m guessing. For example PAWZ YOLO and a few others. I looked for a possible update that I missed but it’s an automatic update. So please do something about this or I’m going to need to look elsewhere and end my paid subscription.
-big fan of DividendTracker

App abilities

Been using DividendTracker for maybe two to three weeks or less. And I must say I'm absolutely happy with it's abilities to keep track accurately of my stocks and their dividend scheduled in and out activity. So simple to follow and understand. Price to pay is also reasonable. Anyone who has dividend paying stocks will really appreciate it's abilities.

Just what I wanted and the some

I was looking for a dividend trackers down decided on DividendTracker. I have been very impressed and extremely happy with DividendTracker. I’ve downloaded a lot of apps and rarely am I this happy. I rarely leave reviews but felt compelled to let others know that this is a good one. Worth the fees.

Have to buy the service

I have been looking for a good app just to track my dividend stocks. Thought I found it but , alas, I’m still looking. Biggest problem is you can only have THREE STOCKS listed in your portfolio before it cuts you off from listing. Only three stocks then you have to pay for their other services in order to list additional stocks. I liked the look but don’t want all the additional research and services. If you only have three or less dividend stocks then this is a good app, but you good track three stocks in your own.

Love it

It’s a good app. Gives div dates and does the math of how much you’ll have when drip is enables from 1-10 years and that’s really cool! Love having my goal percentage for my annual doc goal. Enjoying DividendTracker a lot so glad I got the yearly membership. Super cheap and worth it in my opinion. Can’t wait to add to my div portfolio and add to app list
