The only thing SalzburgMobil is good for is that I can purchase my ticket on my phone, the rest is just chaos.
Downloaded SalzburgMobil , entered all my CC info, selected my ticket. When I click BUY absolutely nothing happens. Multiple attempts, but no ticket. Back to cash I guess.
Somehow google maps is not yet powered to show the public transport information in SalzburgMobil and so I had to install SalzburgMobil to get around Salzburg. The experience can be better but it gets the job done once you know how to use it. I used it for a full day to roam around Salzburg without asking anyone and SalzburgMobil was correct in all the bus timings, locations and numbers. Highly recommend this if you are visiting Salzburg.
SalzburgMobil is essential for navigating the myriad bus lines around Salzburg. It can get a little overwhelming if you don’t know what bus stations you need to use, but if you do know that info it’s such a breeze to use. It’ll show you all the options between the two stations for a given timeframe (which you can adjust!). It even superimposes the bus route on the map so you can track your progress along the route. And so you can find your way to the right station in the first place :)
