The new website and app are a huge step backwards in all aspects. I don’t know why DeckPass was replaced by this, but I guess it’s not for the purpose of improving customer experience.

Finally got my swimmer registered, whew! Not intuitive or clear, the “help” articles for assistance are not jiving with the registration process I went through. Finally logged in, looking for the deck pass features and there’s literally nothing left of an app that actually worked. Hmm…seems like someone subscribed to “if it ain’t broken, break it.“ so disappointed in USA swimmings ability to get this right. Was it rushed out before registration season? Another year of getting it right might have saved a bunch of egg on USA swimming’s face. Please bring back the features from Deck Pass!

As a parent and an official I use USASwimming for everything from registrations to safe sport and backgrounds to continuing education & certifications. Never had a single issue. Is it the best app ever? No but it does what it needs to do. I see a lot of negative reviews and have to think those are the 100 out of tens of thousands that just don’t intuitively understand tech today. Get USASwimming . Its FINE

All the bad reviews about USASwimming are true. My wife and I spent hours after hours just to register our kid as a athlete and us as officials. It feels like going through an obstacle course trying to do any single task. I was a IT solution consultant/architect for decades before retired. USASwimming clearly doesn’t have an architecture at all, poor flow of interface. Worst of all, lack of proper database integration. It’s like pile a bunch of sticks and plywoods, nail them together. And call it a house. The project manager and developer team need to be shown the door. The company needs to find real professionals.

Parents pay a lot of money to USA Swimming. You went from something that was user friendly, easily accessible times, goals, the “patches”,for accomplishments that kids liked to see, previous formatting was great, the targets associated with goals were easy to see…. now you give us this piece of junk. Even the website is useless. Just as useless as USASwimming. We deserve better and have paid for it. Invest in your athletes ability to keep track of times and goals in an easily accessible, easy to sort and visually appealing manner.

USASwimming is horrible. Nothing is intuitive and I cannot figure out how to access the best times feature which was the number 1 reason I used deck pass. The roll out of USASwimming was abominable with literally no transition and really unclear and confusing instructions on how to set up accounts for your kids. I can’t figure out how to link my kids’ login accounts. Everything is very circular and there is little to no guidance on USASwimming itself. This is incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Why in the world would USA Swimming make it even more difficult to use? Ugh! Just spent 3 hours trying to register my three swimmers and had to do all three separately, we should have all of them under the same family. Going to miss the patches, easily set goals, time accessibility….why? Please make it easier to navigate and also able to go in landscape mode for iPads so magic keyboards can be utilized. I hope we don’t need to utilize it much, because it’s so cumbersome.

USASwimming is beyond useless and horrible. Deck pass wasn’t broke…it didn’t need fixing. USASwimming tells you basically nothing and is NO REPLACEMENT for Deckpass. Everyone who used Deckpass primarily used it for the same reason - to look up their swimmers times as well as other swimmers. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Bring back Deckpass. USASwimming is worthless. Don’t waste your time.

I cannot even log in?! Tried numerous times on the website, on USASwimming , on both my phone and my iPad. Then I tried just creating a whole new account out of shear frustration and THAT can’t be accomplished. What a joke - pure amateur hour here at USA swimming. How about some consideration to the time parents have to waste on this pure & complete nonsense of what you deem an “app.”

USASwimming needs overhauling. Did the people who designed and built it work with swimmers, parents, and coaches?! I am devastated that this is what we have to use this season. Feel free to reach out for actual requirements and testing assistance. I am sure all of us in the swim community could help improve this unusable app and make vast improvements on its usability.

USA swimming took a reasonably functional app, in Deck Pass, and replaced it with pure garbage. Stay away, stay far away… USA swimming deservers to have all their athletes switch to soccer… this is a terrible app that displays total disregard for its users/members. How this ever got past a beta is shocking. Someone at USA swimming must have tried to use it, but what on earth were they thinking?

Not sure I can add much to the already horrendous reviews of USASwimming other than to say USA Swimming should be embarrassed.

Not only did they complicate the annual renewal process by requiring individual members to apply on their own rather than having your swim club do for you…they forced everyone into this horrible app. Just awful.

The whole point of USASwimming should be to easily access your swimmers best times. The old Deckpass did a decent job of this. Now, you basically have to jump through too many obscure links to find times and then they are not even updated! USASwimming is an epic fail and should get a ZERO rating.

Just ridiculous. Child athletes can only be linked to one parent’s “family”. Does USA swimming really think that only one parent will care about their child’s progression in this sport? They can’t envision that both parents will be interested in their child’s times, etc?

Not user friendly. The link for times was removed so I can’t see my daughters history of times. We lost all her goals when deck pass was removed- she loved watching how she improved and progressed towards her times. Not sure how this was supposed to be an improvement - seems like a downgrade.

USASwimming has been out for some time now with no better functionality. “And more”?..

Cannot access swims database, which as some have spoken to is one of the two biggest reasons a coach really has USASwimming on their phone.

Time standards does not have its own button on the home page, let alone the latest Olympic Trials standards.

Tried to link it to my current profile & certifications only for it to autogenerate a new ID number and profile.

I honestly don’t understand how this can be so bad.

The old version needed improvements, but at least it was functional. Now we can’t even look up our times. What else are swimmers using USASwimming for? We don’t need an app to tell us what our member ID is or that we paid our dues.

USASwimming is useless. Been using Deck pass for years, which has all the features and times/Goals we set every year and all a sudden everything is gone. this is not a replacement , is a downgrade to absolute nothing. Don’t waste your time installing.

USASwimming is sooo bad. Why did you replace deck pass? USA swimming needs to hire a real app design company that does user research and knows basic app usability. This replacement is heartbreaking. We now have no access to time lookups, the reason most people use USASwimming .

Something is causing USASwimming to work very slowly. It’s also missing one of the main reasons I use the website/Deck Pass, which is the times search.

Deck pass plus was just fine, I don’t understand why all the changes. Must create a new account couldn’t use my previous one. Not able to see my kids times. It looks like there’s so much work to do to improve USASwimming .
