Seems pretty accurate if you have the right location set and the graphics are good for scrolling and watching the pattern or seeing what's happening.

But... I wish it would show me data about the current condition / where the red line is. And it lets me touch and hold to put a red line up, but again no info.
The calendar is nice for the moon, but why not have an option to show high/low tide levels?
And setting location is a bit tedious. Do I have the closest one? Maybe it could offer a list sorted by distance?

I live and work in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay area. I needed an app that would tell me when the tides were high and low because I like to go for walks along the water during high tide. Low tide around here smells really, really bad.

I chose the Alameda, CA readings, and have never been disappointed. For me, it’s spot on. So if you’re just needed to know when it doesn’t stink out there with regards to the tides, TideChartUSA is for you!

TideChartUSA is generally good and mostly accurate. It has a very nice interface that is easy to read. Living on the gulf coast where the time changes twice as often it is a valuable tool. It would be nice if there were any weather forecast overlays that consider wind driven surges and the like.

I definitely recommend TideChartUSA.

This is a free app, so you can't really complain too much. The graphics are clear, and easier to read than some other similar apps. However, I live in San Diego (a maritime town,) and TideChartUSA has been giving me incorrect times for the tides. For example, today it listed 5:45 a.m. as the low tide, when the actual low was at 6:50 a.m. (confirmed on the NOAH website.) Timing is important when you walk on the beach. I hope this can be fixed with an update.

This straightforward app is easy to use and has a load of info in one graphic! I like that I can see future tide info by using the calendar. I use it a few times a week, to find out the tide before I go to sunset at the beach.

Don’t want to be a software engineer to use an app. Want to change the location and there is no easy way to do it. Earlier version it was easy. When you keep adding “features” and keep changing stuff it makes it less user friendly for both newcomers and people that use it infrequently.

Would be nice if you can look up your location instead of having a few listed places on a wheel. Pls add custom location search bar so we can have an accurate time table for the tide in which/where we disire to look. I'll give a better ratings/review if you can! :D

Best tide app I have found. I am always around the water and tides matter! I have several locations marked and it’s easy to change. Highly recommend TideChartUSA if your around the water.

App has nice UI and shows tide info in an easy to use manner. There should be an option to show tides in local time for location selected. It’s not that helpful to use the phones time and then have to translate.

Very easy to use and accurate. I tried another tide app and it was off by over an hour. This one shows the graphical wave and time marker making easy and quickly understand.

I use TideChartUSA constantly as I live on my sailboat year round. It’s has been very useful daily..i appreciate that i can get area tide info wherever i am on the Salish sea

TideChartUSA is great. I live in San Diego and use It whenever I need to check the tide. I always use it to check for -low tides, best time to look for shells. I’ve never had a problem with it, and the best part is it’s free!

I've been using TideChartUSA for over a year now for sailing in the bay area and find it works reliably. I sail in Richardson Bay where it's incredibly shallow and having reasonably accurate tide prediction is crucial for planning a day sailing. Great app!

TideChartUSA is much better than other apps that cost a lot. It gives the relevant data of tide, time/height, sunrise/set and moon phase. I love the new widgets but would love love love an Apple Watch widget/complication.

I absolutely love TideChartUSA. I don’t use it that often, because I don’t boat that much. I can always trust TideChartUSA to give me the correct tide level or close enough. You can choose where you want to see the tide. I just love it.

I live on the Oregon coast and we coasted have to be mindful of the tides fore our safety and for our recreation activities. This is a great little app! I like to photograph wading birds like egrets and herons. I check the stage of tide to see when and where birds might be. Thank you!

Does what it says, easily accessed info, no confusing extra verbiage and it doesn’t break- perfect!

I’ve used TideChartUSA I’m guessing now for probably 10 years. Seems to me to be the best of the bunch.

I wish I could apply my own line - different beaches are accessable dependent on different tide benchmarks. On whole I use a lot though.

TideChartUSA needs to offer "current location " as an option. It should also show current conditions (i.e.: weather, temp, wind speed). Also, "Daylight Saving" is misspelled!! App shows "saveing"

I depend on TideChartUSA once or twice a week to tell me what time is best to enter the water. It is very accurate and easy to use. I have other apps i use to look more than a week into the future, something this doesn’t do.

Great graphics for showing non-coastal visitors who are not familiar with the tides concept. Wish there were more locations, but for free no complaints.

This is an easy app for someone that is a beachgoer. There is a daylight savings setting that needs to be clicked on, otherwise the tide times may be an hour or so off.

TideChartUSA lacks graduation markets between the zero and 8 foot tide levels so it is impossible to know what the tide actually is most of the time. Also has poor instructional documentation. Not sure what that mysterious horizontal line going through the tide chart means because they won't tell you. I deleted TideChartUSA and am using a different free one

Good app. Recommended by a professional fishing guide, and I saw him pull TideChartUSA up on his phone several times during our charter.
