ACNH Exchange Reviews

I used ACNHExchange for over a year and really enjoyed it. The community was great, but unfortunately "was" is the keyword here. Not sure what changed, but many of the active users were all banned within the space of a day or so with little to no explanation from the moderators (no explanation was the most common - I got lucky and got a vague, unhelpful response to my own inquiry). In looking around at other similar apps, AC Exchange lacks a lot of features found in many others. However, AC Exchange was simple to use and fairly intuitive. Just don't come here expecting any kind of social experience anymore - it's clear that the developer wants to keep this from becoming a Social Media app. But if you do need a simple way to trade turnips or look for events, ACNHExchange certainly works fine.

On Sunday 5/10 I went to buy turnips at 4 islands... none of my ratings have appeared on my profile and my percentage did not budge from previous day. I could clearly see that the host gave me a positive rating on their end.

Hosts shouldn’t be able to rate ppl who never enter their island. I never set foot on this girl Beth’s island, her wait was too long... somehow she gave me a negative rating. If I forgot to leave her line- oh well I should just get kicked out of the line. Negative ratings should be used legitimately for ppl who clearly misbehave on your island.

Other than those issues, ACNHExchange can be useful for turnip trading. If ppl are reading too much into the ratings, then it will negatively affect my experience using ACNHExchange . On Sunday I kept getting bumped further and further down on some lists... if my rating influenced that decision by the hosts, that’s pretty unfair.

I love ACNHExchange!!! I have used it daily since I downloaded it!!! I don’t use it for the turnip trade, but it has been nice to be able to hang out with people, share catalogs, and visit for Celeste, Kicks, Sahara, etc. I have also really enjoyed getting recipes! I currently don’t have a jock or snooty type villager, so there are apparently recipes that I would not be able to get otherwise at the moment.

Unfortunately, a couple of days ago it started having issues with glitches. I turned on ACNHExchange and there were literally no queues. I go to my profile and realize that I’m not logged in. Maybe that has something to do with it. Nope. I’m logged in, but still no queues. I restart app. Nothing. I get frustrated and am trying to figure it out when I get a popup that tells me network error. I’m literally right next to my modem, having absolutely no issues with other apps that use the internet, and have full internet connection according to my phone.

I give it up for awhile and eventually come back to it. I can see queues again! Hooray! Then the window that says network error pops up every 30 seconds or so, sometimes more frequently. The chat makes it so my message doesn’t send until it suddenly sends anywhere from 2-6 times. It does this for everyone who tried posting in the chat.

There are a couple minor things I would suggest, but right now I have to stress the issues that everyone suddenly seems to be having with network errors.

I like ACNHExchange it’s really good on getting ppl to get their turnips sold and to sell them and overall a great app though I had this experience. I was selling for my prices for my dads island bc he doesn’t know how to work ACNHExchange it’s going good until I changed what I wanted as a payment I used to accept bells but I changed it because I didn’t need bells then ppl started complaining about it then since 2pm I’ve been doing the line I ended it around 6pm told everyone that I was ending it and that was that I checked to app and I was getting so many different reports for no reason I didn’t even do anything wrong I go to reddit to find help and the support team says the email them I did they never respond. It’s been two whole months and I’ve never gotten a reply.

I want to clear something up, ACNHExchange is the best! Most of the community is very generous! ACNHExchange is very helpful when it comes to animal crossing. I felt I Coo Sony only have one rating because three stars doesn’t seem quite right for someone saying ACNHExchange is AMAZING!!!!! This is by far my favorite app. I have made friends on here. But the developers have abandoned us. Just recently ACNHExchange broke into a huge fight about something that I don’t want to go into since many painful words were said too many people. There was a terrible person on that app and I am glad to say they were gone now. ACNHExchange is 100% appropriate for children though I just feel the developers left us in the dust during that time. You will never see this message and probably won’t respond, but I think you need to pay more attention to ACNHExchange you created, please. :)

Love ACNHExchange, it’s incredibly useful and easy to use! The latest update was great, but there is room for some improvements :)
One thing (and this isn’t the developer’s fault) is that people are posting high turnip prices but aren’t actually buying any turnips. They post high prices to get attention and then ask to trade. That’s not what ACNHExchange is for. I don’t care if you wrote a disclaimer in the description, go somewhere else to trade, not ACNHExchange. I wish there was a way to report these people without joining the line first. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a way to view the profile and written reviews of other people. It says that when you write a review that it’s public and people can see, but I can’t find where that is. I can’t see what other people have written about me either. Beside some of these small things, I really enjoy ACNHExchange! I just wish people followed the rules :/

I love ACNHExchange and always use this to trade, but it would be nice if the only people who could rate you is people that you actually visited or vice versa. Or maybe report thumbs down with an explanation to remove it because people thumb down for the dumbest reasons. I had to leave as a no show and even though I let the person know, they still rated me as a thumbs down and now my 100% is forever ruined. People just assume that I was a bad guest. I also saw someone who was thumbed down because the person who rated them was impatient and upset they had to wait 2 loading screens.

I used ACNHExchange before it got super popular. It made it so easy to buy and sell turnips - better than the turnip exchange website! I even donned myself a “Stalk Broker” (corny I know lol) and started trading for my “clients”. I noticed more and more people were using ACNHExchange for non-turnip related things which I understood b/c there was nowhere else to go...but still it was very frustrating. Just when I was about to give up and find a new place to trade, ACNHExchange was updated to expand its hosting feature for other reasons! Whoop! Great response to your audience!

Now my 5 ideas for improvement are 1) please keep us logged in 2) allow us to read the reviews 3) don’t allow no shows to give a vote 4) if there is a negative vote it’s mandatory to leave a review. I’ve gotten negative votes and I have no clue why 5) you should deff charge for ACNHExchange. I would deff pay

I’ve greatly enjoyed using ACNHExchange for turnips and for all the events available as well - really appreciate all the hard work and effort that goes into developing and maintaining it!

One suggestion for the team, as a host for events it would be helpful to have notifications when someone joins the line, it’s challenging to continue to refresh the host screen/check the chat. Tons of notifications would probably be overwhelming for the popular turnip lines, but would be helpful for smaller event lines.

After trying a few other similar apps, this one turned out to be my favorite. I love the expected wait time, and the chat with the host functionality. The thing I would suggest is that if the user selected to view “open only” lines, and they are IN a line, that line should not disappear from their screen if it fills. That freaked out several people in my line. Now I know to use the “full and open” drop-down option.

Very well put together app. Always up and running and reliable. Great system. Has truly transformed my trading! I wish I could get more ratings, I’ve traded some five times as a seller, and left positive feedback with detailed written review for all sellers, and yet only one host has reviewed me. I dont mean to burden the kind peeps who host, but if there was a way for them to easily review positively the experiences that worked out and only take note of the negative ones perhaps, it’d be great!

Otherwise very nice app, definitely worth a download!

Hosted my first catalog party tonight. It was a bit confusing at first to figure out how to stop the queue but figured it all out in the end. I didn’t have any issues with my visitors either so this makes me want to do another party. It’s great being able to rate visitors.

I do wish there was some push notifications for the chat feature if there is already Idk how. Maybe a party chat option would be cool too since the games communication is so awful. Maybe a spot to put your island hemisphere, game date, game time and native fruit would be helpful. More profile options Is what I’m going for I think.

I also sold my turnips as well today through ACNHExchange which worked well. It was confusing when you join a line and then the line disappears because it became full. I thought I got kicked or it glitched but I had the “open lines” only filter on.

Super organized and efficient way to sell your turnips! The chat feature is very helpful when communicating with the host and other visitors. Much easier than other methods of selling because of the ability to join a line and set notifications for when you're next. As long as you remember to always read the fees and requirements for each island and learn to be patient with large queues, then you'll never have any issues! Great way to play the Stalk Market and make your time playing animal crossing more enjoyable.

ACNHExchange is so much more organized than trying to sell turnips on reddit or other sites that i’ve tried. Hosts are able to be up front about their expectations so you know what is expected before visiting their island. You can hop in a queue, get an estimated time for how long it will take, and even put your phone away and simply forget about it until you get the notification. Highly recommend as a relatively stress free way to sell turnips for a good price and to make a little extra in tips if your prices are high.

I didn’t know what to expect when I downloaded this, other than my cousin telling me she waited in a line to sell turnips...I was so amazed by how efficient ACNHExchange truly is!!! Blown away by how nice users are and how easy it was to make 10 million bells in one night! I got very lucky joining lines that people just posted! The next day I stumbled upon the special events portion of ACNHExchange and saw the endless possibilities ACNHExchange provides! It makes trading, visiting, and shenanigans so simple! ☺️☺️ I would recommend this to everyone I know (but I don’t want to clog the lines up) 😂😂 thank you to the creators of ACNHExchange! 💕🥺

I love using ACNHExchange a whole lot! I find it very functional and easy to use when it comes to buying and selling turnips. I would say this tho... some of the hosts on ACNHExchange are like pure savages.... they ask for too much and can be rude at times. Some hosts can be unresponsive in the chats too. Oh and I advise people not to go with ones who ask to join a discord session! It’s a waste of time and quite frankly a huge mess. At the end of the day ACNHExchange has its few bad apples but not everyone is like that! So give it a shot and beware of some users and hosts!!! You won’t regret it! It’s literally my only shot at tackling the turnip stonk market haha!

Not only does ACNHExchange operate great and is extremely useful for AC players, but the support for ACNHExchange is quick and efficient. Earlier today I had an incident where I was using ACNHExchange to host a catalog event. Unfortunately someone came to my island under a different name during their turn and stole an item during the event. After I gave them a negative rating the offender reported me for stealing. I gathered as much info as I could on the offender and contacted app support through the provided email address. The issue was resolved quickly. I highly recommend ACNHExchange to any AC players. The events and turnip trading tabs are very useful, you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been using ACNHExchange for a while so that I can give an unbiased review. I think ACNHExchange is great. Has a very clean interface and a great community to help new users through the ropes. I like the layout and is simple to use.

If I could suggest something, I wish there was someway that there was a screen that we could see every line that were in regardless of if it’s for turn ups or for the meteor shower, having one area where all of your lines are would make it a little bit more clean I think.

Bug Feedback: i’m not sure if this is of bug but there are times where when I exit a line I’m still in the chat for some reason.

I’ve always been a big animal crossing player, as I’ve progressed further in the game and started doing things like turnip trading and catalogue events, ACNHExchange is everything you’re looking for and more. Before I found ACNH exchange I was using Facebook and reddit groups which quickly becomes overwhelming and messy. This is a super clean, organized and easy way to host and join island events, even just for shopping visits. There’s also a neat collection part of ACNHExchange where you can keep track of all the bugs, fish, fossils, redd art, and K.K songs you have. I’d like to see a general item list one day too! Overall very pleased with ACNHExchange and would recommend to avid ACNH players!

I’ve been a fan of animal crossing since the beginning of its creation. In past games I wish I had a tool like ACNHExchange to connect with other players for trades of turnip prices and other fun events. I check ACNHExchange daily and have connected with many fabulous players through it. It makes trading easy and fast. I like the rating system. I also love that there is a collection tracker, it helps me know how far I’ve got in my museum and with K.K. every Saturday. I always know which songs to request because now I have a close by reference. They also update frequently with improvements. Love it.

Every trip I’ve had, I’ve ALWAYS tipped the host but I checked my guest rating and I’m at a 60. This really limits my access to good lines because the host will and have kicked me out. Maybe if there was a better way to fairly rate the visitor or some how bring my own rating up??? It’s really frustrating because I had no problem with ACNHExchange until now. I’m still hoping for the host to let me stay but I’ve been let down so many times when I know I can be fair in the game.

I love ACNHExchange and it’s getting better with the features, but it won’t let me log in, reset my password, or sign up with a different account and it’s very frustrating. I tried signing up and it was fine but after I confirmed my email I couldn’t sign in. So I tried changing my password just in case that was the issue, but it wouldn’t send the email. I tried signing up with a different email, wouldn’t let me. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that didn’t work either. I’m very frustrated by this.

ACNHExchange itself is great when it works properly. However, I had to re-download it and when I did it wouldn't register my account on ACNHExchange . I tried multiple times, and even though I technically could login, it wouldn’t let me host anything cause I was not registered, even though I was! As a last resort I tried to make a new account but it said my email was already registered. I tired to contact the support team but the link took me to an error page. So if you get ACNHExchange, as long as you never run into any trouble it’s great but if you do then your on your own.

Love ACNHExchange !! Easy to buy/sell. However a lot of people are charging entry fees which is an easy way to scam on the game. Would appreciate a “rule” for hosts to not ask to charge entry fees. Can’t be enforced but maybe if they have they aren’t allowed to have the words “entry fee” together in the description to try to mitigate that? A whitelist for that. Probs a good idea to add a whitelist of swear words as well even though I haven’t seen that happen yet.

For example, right now the highest turnip price possible is 660 bells- this has been confirmed by data mining and finding the formula from the game directly. Despite that, people can put more than this.

Also, right now there are four listings labeled “NOT A REAL LISTING” at 999 bells that are just people complaining back and forth about entry fees, there should be an option to report entries that are explicitly marked as fake by the poster.

ACNHExchange is so great for selling turnips, my first run I got over 1,000,000 bells for them! Super simple and easy! The only problems I have is that it doesn’t keep you logged in, you have to constantly sign back in. Another thing, and I didn’t see it on any other reviews. When you buy turnips from another island, are you time traveling? Or are people just selling them from their own stockpile? I really don’t want to time travel, but I noticed someone said Daisy Mae was on their island and I was a little confused because it’s only Saturday. Thank you so much for ACNHExchange and can’t wait to see where it goes! 😄

I like that someone made ACNHExchange where you can trade but you can also see if someone may be stealing, but there a lots of things that I don’t know because I’m new. I don’t know if I have to time travel, and If I do have to time travel, what day do I have to time travel too and I don’t know what the ETA means. There should be something to help new Animal crossing players like myself

It functions very well. The active visits tab could use some love. It won’t let me use the leave button and when I try to upvote it doesn’t stay marked. It would also be cool if when you click on a queue’s details it stayed highlighted. Not breaking issues just giving feedback. Love it!

The turnip buy/sell system works really well, and the resource tracking is a neat little add-on as well. If I may make a suggestion for a feature - it would be pretty legit if there was a similar system for general item trading. Have a little catalogue of items you can select and see any listings.

This apps interface is quite easy to use and tracking your bugs and fish is really easy! They also have fossil tracking which is really helpful for people who can’t keep track (me). Their turnip lines are also super easy to navigate and selling your turnips is really easy. There’s good prices to choose from (both selling and buying). It’s like any other guide app really, but their turnip choices really put them over the rest. Great app 10/10!

ACNHExchange is great. The interface is simple, and the whole experience feels very efficient. I had no trouble getting into a queue, joining an island, and selling my turnips. Looking forward to additional features like the ability for island owners to include rules, desired items/payment for services, etc.

I was finally able to get to a hosted island with the help of ACNHExchange, which is easier to use than other AC turnip exchange websites. The dev was also super responsive to questions and bug reports that I had related to my phone's dark theme and the Leave button not working, which were both fixed in a newer version by updating my app.

First off: Love ACNHExchange ! Great way to sell/buy turnips and track collectibles. I’m constantly checking the turnip listings in hopes for new listings.

Here’s my idea for an update. The same layout as turnip listings but for villagers crafting DIY recipes. Same queue and everything but it lists the recipe being crafted and the villager crafting it. This could help everyone get recipes they don’t have yet. Hopefully this could be implemented in the near future; I’m sure everyone would enjoy this.

I love the interface and functionality.

If is super easy to join a waiting list or create one and to see others available. I also love the option to join multiple lines at once.
