Crash Course - Watch and Study Reviews

CrashCourse is both beautifully designed and staggeringly intuitive. Crash Course launched after I graduated from high school, but I used CC Literature & CC theater to keep on learning even though I didn’t take those classes in college. I was terrible at math & science in high school, and an app like this would’ve done wonders for my bio & chemistry grades. The material is so much easier to grasp in this format, and I don’t know if it’s because I’m older and learning because I want to, or if it’s because the material is presented in a way that actually holds my attention. Maybe both? In any case, CrashCourse is brilliant and wonderful and I’m happy that I have it so I can keep on learning. Thanks John, Hank, & the amazing Complexly team. Y’all crushed it.

It's a really great app and I'm so greatful that it's free. However, there are some critiques to be made. First off, I wish there was a place for all of your downloaded courses to be stored. There's a place for favorites, but that's for individual videos. It's manageable now because there's not many things to sort through, but if CrashCourse continues to grow (which I expect it will), the courses I need to get to will take more effort to find than necessary. Second, for courses following AP courses it would be nice if they were sectioned off into units as they are on the Collegeboard website. It's not necessary, just a way for it to be more organized and easier for people to find certain topics. That's about all the critiques I have. Other than that, it's a great app with plentiful information. Thank you!!

I’ve been a big fan of Crash Course for years. Many of my past teachers have used it to supplement lessons and I have relied on it to understand the material in other classes. I’m very glad that it’s made the transition to a full blown app with all of the trademark Crash Course animations, expressions, and fun attitude. The addition of ‘decks’ is a great add-on, although there are only a few courses that make use of it at this time. Highly recommend CrashCourse for bite-sized lessons on a multitude of topics. Great for students, teachers, or anyone who just wants to learn something new.

You can clearly see how much dedication the devs had while creating this beautiful educational app, knowledge is so accessible and the videos and cards are easy to use, learning has NEVER been so much fun!! It’s makes me smile so hard to see so much effort and love put into helping the world learn, thank you Crash Course Team for doing this for the education of the world. You have helped people in so many ways, CrashCourse being one of them. I will be donating to you guys on the donation section of CrashCourse !! ☺️

I have always loved learning. For the last five years, Crash Course has been there to remind me that education is a thing to be treasured. CrashCourse continues their goal to make education accessible but also very fun. It’s obvious that there was so much effort and care put into CrashCourse. Super easy to use and continues the Crash Course spirit onto another platform. I don’t have the means to donate right now so I hope you will accept this review as my way of saying thank you and don’t forget to be awesome!

I have been using CrashCourse to comprehend and excess in my anatomy and physiology class and it is working! The flashcards for each section are an amazing tool and a great time saver. This saves me so much time, as I don’t have to look up chegg cards and worry about checking to see if the material is correct! CrashCourse and material really helps! I donated $1 and I think everyone that uses CrashCourse should consider donating to keep it updated and support the creators!!

I just completed taking an A & P course and I was so thankful to have the access to view and listen to Crash Course over and over again so the vast amount of information that I was studying absorbed into my brain! I am happy to say that I made an “A” in this class, but I seriously couldn’t have done it without the help of Crash Course. Thank you Crash Course for making me excited to learn! I’ve watched crash course for years when one of my college professors used one of their videos to help us understand biology. I’ve been a fan of them ever since. I’ve been prepping to go to grad school and I’m watching their videos as a refresher and it’s been so helpful. So excited to use the new flash card feature on CrashCourse to facilitate my learning! You guys are doing amazing work.

I’ve been a huge fan of Crash Course for about 4 years now, and it’s so exciting that there’s an app now! It’s like Quizlet, with thousands of flash cards, and they’re beautifully done.

One of the reasons I usually steer clear of videos when studying for a test is because it’s a very passive way to learn.

I also don’t like Quizlet very much, because it’s nearly impossible to find one without typos and incorrect information.

CrashCourse fixes both of those issues! Of course, for now, there’s a very limited selection (anatomy, chemistry, and organic chem.) However, the variety of content will only continue to expand.

I love Crash Course, I love Quizlet, and if you like either, you’ll love CrashCourse.

I’m a World History and AP World History teacher and I LOVE EVERYTHING Crash Course! I’ve used the World History videos for years! The US and European histories are great, too! I’d love to see more African, Asian, Latin American, and Middle Eastern History content! I just discovered the study skills videos and shared them with my class immediately! Thank you to the Green brothers and their amazing team!

Ever since my sociology professor used Crash Course Sociology in class I’ve been hooked. I’ve spent hours binging their content (which... may not have been the best thing to do) and I’ve learned so much. I enjoy watching their videos. As a visual/hands on learner this gives me another aspect of learning that helps a lot. I’m so excited for CrashCourse and access to all their videos!

Honestly the best thing I could have found. Khan academy doesn’t have a human anatomy official course so to find that my favorite review videos made their own app with flash cards is amazing. Best app ever. I’m so grateful that they have cards for the classes I need. I hope they have the funds to expand that collection. Bless up

this app has been instrumental to me in my education and I’m so excited to see an app with so many extra features! While the scope of content on it is somewhat limited for now, you can tell the developers put a lot of thought and care into the interface. It’ll be great to see it grow and help even more students!

I would definitely suggest CrashCourse as one of the largest collection of high quality educational videos. Their new deck/flash card system looks incredibly promising and I’ve already used it for chemistry, but it is limited right now to chemistry, anatomy and physiology, and organic chemistry. More decks are coming, but for now the videos are super helpful.

I’d really like to use CrashCourse as CC is my favorite learning center but midway through loading, it says “check your internet connection and try again” every time. I restarted the WiFi plenty of times and it still stops at the same time, same path. Maybe my internet is to blame but why would it show the same pattern every time? Hope it gets fixed asap!

At the time of this review CrashCourse has been recently announced. It is already very easy to understand and use effectively. The visuals are amazing and the content is very easy to digest. Incredible work to the team behind this. Excited to see this project continue to grow and expand, very well done!!!

Crash course has helped me in classes, as well as provided resources to learn about things I am interested in. It is beautifully designed and makes learning feel fun again. It is accessible to everyone, and truly is a gift!!!

I love crash course videos. As a nursing student, the videos and flash cards helped me study for the TEAS exam. Hank goes in depth in the videos about A&P and the flash cards are a great study tool. Also, the animations/graphics are a plus! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about CrashCourse and honestly, I can’t believe its free!

Crash Course has helped me so much through college with all kinds of topics.( many times crash course classes teach WAAAYYY better than some college professors). I am glad they made an app and will definitely contribute. This type of access to amazing information is crazy and I recommend anyone who can contribute to do so ! :D

The videos legit saved me on multiple occasions and have put the content out in a way I can understand! Also flash cards make it even better! I hope they make more so I can have some for my psychology and economics classes too!

CrashCourse is better than the overpriced A&P course at my private University. They have made it the material so it’s understandable and comprehendible, therefor it better prepares you for each chapter, test and quiz. Just what we needed! Thank you Crash Course for always being there to help us out with our home work. We are really looking forward to the quiz section and to more flash cards in the future. This is very helpful with distance learning during Covid 19!;D

I’m so happy there is an app for Crash Course. It’s familiar and may even bring some competition to other educational apps. The launch of CrashCourse is almost perfecting timing due to most to all schools being closed down, and nothing’s better than free education!

Perfect place to find all the materials you could want for a wide range of subjects and so, so useful for keeping track of your progress within a certain course. Awesome job and can’t wait for future updates.

I love this company and I’m so happy that Complexly has expanded into an app format. The new features such as quizzes and flash cards are super helpful in retaining information and I look forward to seeing these features rolled out to more of their courses.
