App insists on requiring SMS verification, but it doesn’t work (US phone number). Makes TicketBusVerona completely useless.

I can't use TicketBusVerona , and support hasn't responded for several days.

Tried to use it with a US phone number. Never got the code to set up the account

TicketBusVerona is really useless. To use, you must set up an account. To set up an account you need to verify with an SMS PIN, TicketBusVerona says it has sent a PIN but it never arrives (at least with a foreign phone number). Super frustrating.
This is embarrassing for Verona: cities all over Europe, including in less wealthy places (Romania) have similar apps that work flawlessly.
Fixing this should be an afternoon’s work for a competent software engineer!

In order to buy bus tickets with TicketBusVerona , you must register with your phone number and then they will send you a SMS code via text, in order to complete your registration.

The needed code will not arrive to a US phone #, therefore you cannot use TicketBusVerona as intended; allowing the tourist to buy bus tickets before getting on the bus.

Unable to verify my app like many others despite adding a U.S. phone number as an option. Besides the bus schedule, TicketBusVerona is useless

Like other reviewers, TicketBusVerona is completely useless because I can’t get SMS on a foreign number. So now we can’t take a bus that is the only mode of transportation to a reservation. Completely pointless to even require creating an account to use TicketBusVerona. But like my experience with most other Italian logistics, it’s very a very similar experience. Nothing and no one works in this country.

Instead of sending an SMS verification, TicketBusVerona could easily send the verification thru email instead. This would fix the issue that all foreigners are having with TicketBusVerona and would make it actually usable.

Doesn’t work for tourists

Will have to figure out a different way to get bus tickets as you can’t use TicketBusVerona without verifying by SMS. It’s too bad but it is indeed useless to foreigners.

TicketBusVerona forces you to make an account to buy bus tickets, but if you are from the US, it will fail at sending the SMS code to you. You’re better off buying the ticket physically somewhere else.
