Transcribe Reviews

I downloaded Transcribe for feee as it was listed as the free app of the day. In the description section of free app of the day, it states the PRO version is free. I went to the settings tab in the PRO section and tapped the “try it” and then it takes you to the purchase screen for .99!

I saw where the developer already addressed the part as where to find the PRO section. Finding that section wasn’t the problem. It’s the FACT it’s NOT FREE. PLEASE advise me how to download the PRO version of your app for FREE and then the ONE STAR GOES TO FIVE STARS, thank you!!

I downloaded it, it took my money, and now it will not open. Whenever I try open Transcribe , it tries to open but then it closes right away. It won’t stay open more than a second.

What really bothers me about Transcribe? Is that out of between 50 and 54 reviews, the developer ONLY answered SEVEN of them; that’s a big fat 7, this , in my opinion, is utterly ridiculous.
I have a few things I would like to say to this developer.
it doesn’t really matter what I was going to say; it would never be seen, Past actions tell me that.
Reading some of these peoples review problems, I mean, some of these people are actually almost BEGGING for help with NO answers,I think this is utterly ridiculous. Maybe I’m the one that’s wrong.
Thus, the 2 stars, and that’s stretching it

Recording time and s very limited. Couldnt figure out how to resume after starting and stopping a note. Erase must be typed, but disappeared when I tried to this app. Pro it is not. And not what I need.

ItDoesn’t spell things right. I probably could do a word doc and do better than that I was trying to dictate notes from a dissertation meeting it was terrible. I got a redo it in dictate notes from therapy sessions I probably got to get a service that is more better but for something free is good at probably just dictating basic conversationion

Dictation is an outstanding app! I did virtually everything I could do (except maybe not reviewing it at all) to avoid writing this review but the developer essentially forced my hand. I downloaded Dictation during a promotion which entitled me to a free upgrade to the Pro version. It never let me get the free upgrade to the Pro version. I practically begged the developer to honor what it offered during the promotion. No matter how many times I contacted the developer, I never heard back. I even informed the developer that I would cut Transcribe in my review (not as a threat but out of frustration more than for a technical reason) if developer continued to ignore my Pro upgrade issue). This is so a frustratingly simple matter that I really wished the developer would have avoided by simply doing what it promised to do. Regrettably the developer chose not to leave me the option of not reviewing Transcribe at all.

This seems convenient but I don’t know what I’d ever use it for that I can’t just type, also I have a limited time to speak into the mic.

This versus dictating to Apple Notes: you get nice backgrounds colors and font size of choice. You lose synching across devices, locking notes. Could be 5 star with synch and password!

Like others, I downloaded this but was unable to activate the free upgrade to Speech Notes Pro on my iPhone XS Max. I could do it on my iPad where the upgrade button did appear. But the problem on the XS Max and other iPhones as mentioned in other reviews is that the lower menu bar (with the Home, Notes, and Settings buttons) covers the mic button on the home page and covers the upgrade button on the settings page. So it is impossible to find and press the upgrade button.

And why does my upgraded pro app on the iPad not reflect an upgrade to pro in the iPhone version?

P.S. I cannot give a higher star rating until resolution of the issue with the lower menu covering the mic and other buttons on certain iPhones.

Love Transcribe , use it regularly to make notes to self of events, new ideas and concepts for my business! After iOS 17 update, app stopped working, hoping it’s just awaiting update for iOS 17 compatibility.

I was able to create several notes with almost no errors. You can even create new paragraphs, ALL CAPS with simple commands. It would be nice to see Transcribe tech integrated into other mobile apps.

Easy to use and accurate for science notes

Please add voice recognition capability in Persian

App does what it’s supposed to do - it transcribes what it hears. When I test it, Transcribe correctly gets the “she sells seashells” and “woodchuck” tongue twisters.

High marks from me for this effective, easy-to-use dictation app!

I’ve just started playing with Transcribe and am excited about its possibilities. I am sure it is going to be quite useful for me.

This is one app that reminds me of one of the first apps offered from/on Apple... “Bump”. Simple, completes fully the intended reason for being developed.

First impression is that this application compares to dragon continuously speaking, an annoyingly expensive application that crashes a lot.

Well pleased with dictation accuracy and ease of installation for dictation pro.

I’ve never had much luck with dictation. I talk softly and don’t articulate clearly. I also give up quickly. This worked extremely well from my first try.

Seems to work perfectly. And via App Advice it was free. I might keep it on my phone. Many apps I get fir free are gone in minutes because they strike me as being useless. This one has not struck me that way yet. Maybe only time will tell. But so far, so god.

Never have I ever found a dictate to speech app or program that worked for me. I suffered through countless hours “training” the dragon to recognize my voice. Transcribe was correct from the first test in English and then in French. It is simple and easy to use and upgrade.

IPad 5, iPhone 12 Pro - iOS 14.2 : I was not looking for a dictation app but I ran across Transcribe this morning. I was curious so I gave it a try and I’m glad I did. This dictation app works great! It is simple to use and understands everything that I say. My thanks to the developers for an easy to use app that works great. Job well done!

Simply effective, efficient and most importantly Reliable. I have to write for a living and typing just takes a lot of time. HOW EVER, this amazing app works every time and makes my work more productive and leaves time to do other things which I couldn’t do before. Highly RECOMMENDED! Try it fir your self…

I am usually very skeptical with these apps, especially after reading some of the reviews. I am pleased to say that installation and upgrade to pro was seamless. It was so simple. This ap should improve my efficiency with work and that means more time with family. 2 thumbs up. I highly recommend it.

App crashes and closes immediately on launch.

Other reviewers here are saying the same, so it seems to be a critical issue. Please fix.
