I was very excited about TextToSpeech. I bought a premium membership. It has never worked properly. It breaks pdfs into sections, takes forever to load a single section, and then stops midway through and restarts from the beginning. It also jumps around if I try to scroll to read the part it missed, making it impossible to read. Developers, either fix your problems or give me my money back.

I have no idea if this works, you can’t do anything without signing up for a subscription, not about to do that without being able to test it first.

TextToSpeech has incredible glitches. I upload pages of text and it processes them, but will only read a certain amount of minutes. I paid $40 for TextToSpeech in addition to the fee for a better voice (which really to understand the dialogue and correct enunciations is necessary). Do not purchase.

TextToSpeech is the definitive definition of a scam. There is no free version, as everything is locked behind a stupid paywall. How hasn’t TextToSpeech be taken down yet?!?!

How do I get my money back?I bought two days ago and have been trying to download a PDF. It downloads but is missing pages and starts at a random place. I can’t figure TextToSpeech out nor can I find directions anywhere. This is a waste of my time and money.

TextToSpeech is extremely frustrating. The is no free option at all. You can listen to up to 15 seconds of text that you enter before it stops it completely and requests you to pay monthly or annually. The fees are also absurd for what TextToSpeech offers.

Only thing it has going for it is it’s capability to import picture text and read aloud, too bad it only allows like 30 words before it makes you buy a subscription. Took longer to import and crop the pictures.

This reads one stupid so called book and nit what you want.. I wish I could have previewed the real ap before wasting my money. I hope this gets shut down before others lose money also

I had a book that I wanted TextToSpeech to read to me. As soon as I try to start the reading it didn’t even read. It tried to make me buy the subscription. Big disappointment and much time wasted.

I just downloaded and uploaded my files, the files wont play. It processes but will not play or allow the button to be clicked. Useless if it cannot do the purpose of purchasing.

Just Tried using TextToSpeech so I can listen to my textbook at work. I can't even scan 1/2 a chapter because TextToSpeech will close out on me after about 3 minutes. It is hard to scan/take pictures of my textbook with the tiny square space the camera function in TextToSpeech allows. Definitely disappointed with TextToSpeech and I cancelled my subscription.

Doesn’t read the whole thing. Splits it into portions and then doesn’t even read the whole segment. Stops part way and you can’t FF or anything to hear the rest.

No matter what I do, try to copy and paste a text, input an article from my file, a screen shot, it doesn’t play. TextToSpeech just keeps closing. Do not buy!

Only gives you a certain amount of turns the. You have to pay for it afterwards

Lit does nit copy documents well. It combines words and pronounced them as one big word. It also keeps pausing.

I was looking for a free app to help me read through my book. I saw TextToSpeech and thought it was going to be free. I install it and open it and it tells me I have to pay a 10$ monthly fee to read more. TextToSpeech is not good. It makes u pay for everything.

It’s a good app, it just has a hard time getting the words right if the book has two columns.

It read in a choppy way that gets annoying and is disappointing. It’s not smooth to follow along. It sometimes skips words and doesn’t pronounce simple word well.
