AustinRecycles is horrible. Giving it 5 stars is an injustice to the poor people that developed it. I don’t understand how anyone could give it 5 stars.

Here’s the deal. You can’t see the calendar more than a couple weeks out. You can’t look up bulk/brush collection. You can’t schedule a drop off at the recycle place or even see where it’s at. 5 stars to get a notification that tomorrow is trash day? C’mon, y’all...

I just wish the site could do more than tell you the trash day. Combine with Austin energy

AustinRecycles is super simple and easy to navigate. Beyond keeping track of what cans to put out when, I love being able to search in AustinRecycles for how to properly dispose of specific things, like paint cans. I’ve always wanted that kind of info at my finger tips, and now I do!

This is actually a super-useful app. It’s a lot easier using AustinRecycles than going to the city website to figure out pick up schedules and all that.

The best feature is the notifications about what gets picked up and when (especially “slide days”). Ditto for all the other features cited by others.

Spot on information concerning changes and a wonderful courtesy in the reference of pick up time changes, keep up the great work and we Thank Jesus for your community support:;))!!!!!!!!

It’s a lightweight app with a specfic purpose and executes on it. Keeps me from doing the “oh, trash can” run at midnight.

And it let’s you schedule haz mat drop offs, bonus points for that.

Every city in the world should have an app like this. Being able to easily figure out what is/is not recyclable is immensely helpful. Well done, Austin.

AustinRecycles is pretty cool! It has every I need regarding trash, recycling and pickup reminders. The game is a plus too.

I use AustinRecycles all the time and would recommend it to anyone living in Austin. It’s indispensable for helping me sort things into recycling and compost bins instead of the trash.

AustinRecycles is great. Not only helps me keep track of what’s being collected each week, but it also alerts me to collection delays, etc.

The best thing about AustinRecycles is obvious - it reminds me about trash day and I no longer have to remember what to put out that day.

I also like how it includes special extra services like large brush days.

I love that I get the reminder late Sunday afternoon about my pickup for the next morning.
It was also nice to get a message late Monday that compost was running behind and to leave out our bins.

Man, I got a lot of stuff to keep track of. This takes a little bit off my plate and I appreciate that. It’s simple and straightforward.

I am disabled and appreciate it so much when everyone remembers to take the time to empty my bins !!!
