Love this game

This is my favorite this app. I love being able to use hints. If need be you can play this game without any money and watch 30sec ads to get free coins and gems. I do spend money on gems to play more often. What makes me mad is that recently I finally reached the part 1,2,3 music rooms and it brothers me I don’t get a puzzle piece for each game no more. Other than that I find myself still playing cause I love this game. Although I feel like you all got lazy on us.

Update: I’ve spent so much money on this game cause I do like it. I finally figured I’d try to the subscription offer and done it for a few weeks then decided I can’t spend that much time a week playing this game to when all the goals. I still have 2 days left and the fact I cancel my subscription you’re going to take away my last few days before I should renew?!? I paid for a week and you won’t let me finish it out.. I’m about done with road trip and I tell you what I’m never spending another dime with your game again. Thanks

Scam VIP subscription - rewards don’t work

The VIP subscription is fake. I’ve signed up twice and neither time did I receive the 750 diamonds promised by subscribing. And you still have to watch ads to get 13 diamonds per ad. It’s a pointless subscription, and frankly, too high - what kind of game charges 2.99 a week for a subscription AND has ads you still have to watch to get diamonds the subscription was supposed to provide? The garden section of Nonogram doesn’t make sense either, and there are no tutorials for it. Also…. The rewards page doesn’t work - it says I’ve fulfilled reward tasks but the check marks still don’t go away so I can’t actually get the reward? The nonagrams and jigsaw puzzles are great, but any other aspect of Nonogram is terrible and not worth the subscription. Don’t buy it.

Great Game, But you have to pay

I want to start this off by saying I really like this game, and that’s why I did not want to write this review. You only get 30 gems per game (that’s the cap for when you let the game recharge in the background.) and to start with that’s already a limited amount. If that is not bad enough, with every puzzle, the amount of gems you need to do the puzzle increases (I’m up to 20 gems per puzzle ) and you can hardly play. Now you would think you could watch addd to get gems, but that’s limited. You can watch 8 ads a WEEK to get bonus gems. I have never wanted to watch more ads, but I would for this game, but I can’t. This all leads to basically making a player spend in the shop, but not because they want too. I would be happy with the watching ads to get games be a daily reset. But it’s not. So this game can not get a high review.

Issues just arose recently.

UPDATE: The ads for free gems still isn’t working! The developer has had MORE than enough time to fix the issue. I no longer buy tokens, & as a rule I try not to play more than one or two games a day. It gets 2 stars only because it’s fun to play.

On the game this app, the free tokens ads no longer work. I am able to play one ad, then I have to close the game & re-open it. Then MAYBE I can get another ad to play. And when I complete a puzzle & it gives me the option to play an ad to earn triple the points, I can’t get those ads to play, either. I just have to click continue. I tried contacting them using the website form, just like trying to get the free tokens, it won’t send my issue.

Fun but has a catch

It’s a fun game, but the catch is you have to pay to keep playing. You spend lots of diamonds to play, you make a couple diamonds when you win so you run out. Ads can give you diamonds but only a few. The more you play, the more diamonds it costs you and the less you make. So you gotta spend real money to keep playing. No thanks.

Edit: developer responded with options to continue playing. Thanks. One of the options, however, is to spend real money. I have never understood spending real money on digital fake monopoly type money. It runs out quickly and then you what? Pay again? I am sure some people spend a lot of money on games like this, but it seems unethical to even charge for that. The best and most quality games I know of either have a one time charge for all the features, or are free and have ads from time to time to get things. With this game, you are either paying real money for Monopoly money (which I won’t do on principle), or spending more time watching ads than actually playing the game. It could be done so much better. All of this on top of the fact that the puzzles are low quality and some have multiple possible solutions.

Fun at first, then unplayable

This game is so addictive and fun. But once your progress a little bit, it becomes impossible to enjoy. Each puzzle takes more and more gems to complete it, so you hit a point where you run out of all your gems after one puzzle, or don’t even have enough to play it to begin with. Even if you watch the optional video ads for more gems, when a puzzle takes 30 gems, you spend more time watching ads than you do actually playing. It feels like a programming error. I understand showing ads in general, but follow other games and show a quick ad after each level, not require someone to watch 5 minutes of ads just to earn enough to play one level. So frustrating that I don’t think I can play it anymore.

There are a lot of things to be desired

I completed the spring puzzle set before completing my review, although I was aggravated with the game from day one.
This game, while well colored and laid out, lacks many things I find essential in puzzling apps.
First, a lot of the puzzles do not have a set answer. There were multiple ways to get to a solution rather than the solution.
Next, I am an experienced monograms puzzler, and I felt there were many puzzles that I either had to use a hint or logical guessing to place blocks into the puzzle. There are some 15x15 grids that mostly have “1” clues in them. There is no where logical to go with these puzzles.
Also, I do realize that this is a free/ad supported game, and I do not pay for gaming apps unless they are exceptional but am willing to watch pretty much limitless ads which help fund the apps, this game limits you to 8 ads per day, and diamonds regenerate once every 10 minutes. It took me over a week to get through the spring collection due to being forced to stop playing. I do not like puzzlers that make me put it aside if I am trying to complete them. I had to do that numerous times with Nonogram over the last week.

I have deleted Nonogram because this is a very poorly developed app for people who enjoy the solve of a puzzle.

Shows ads even after paying to remove them

I bought a pack of gems for actual money, which is supposed to remove ads. And most of them are gone, especially the ones after solving a puzzle. But every time I open up Nonogram there is a “special gift” ad that fills the whole screen that I need to close in order to pick a puzzle. Other than that Nonogram is really good. It has a good mix of different difficulties; the harder ones have made me much better at solving puzzles. Some of them have multiple solutions, but that has never bothered me. And the undo/redo function has made it much nicer to play than other similar apps.

Enjoy it, but have a question…

I greatly enjoy the game so far (except for the low ratio of diamonds spent to play a level vs diamonds earned from finishing a level…without needing to purchase diamonds with real money), but I am trying to figure out if there is a way to play this on more than one device under the same account? I have primarily played it on my iPad, but would really love to be able to play on my phone when I’m out and don’t have my iPad, or on my iPad mini. Is there a way to sync the game so that I would be able to play on another device without having to start from level 1 on that device?

If there isn’t then then this feature really needs to be added. It would;d definitely improve my game experience.

A Favorite, but I have a suggestion

It’s hard for a game to keep my attention for long. Most games i’ll only keep for a week before it falls to the background and gets deleted. This game is one of only two that have managed to keep me interested for many months. I love nonograms and pretty much all of the competing apps that i’ve tried can’t compare. Only, I wish I could play it more. Basically, the reward ratio needs improvement. You pay with a lot of diamonds to play, and only earn a couple for completing. You also earn diamonds on a time based schedule, but the amount it caps out to is only enough to play one or two puzzles towards the end of a chapter when only “Very Hard” pricier puzzles remain. What you will earn a ton of is coins, which are only useful if you have no idea how to complete a this app puzzle. I only use my coins for the occasional unnecessary hint to earn diamonds from weekly challenges like “use 2 hints” So really I only use a couple hints a week because I don’t need them. I have amassed over 10,000 coins that have no use for me. I watch as many ads as they will allow to earn diamonds, so they get plenty of ad revenue from me. I’m one of the many people who will never spend real money on in game currency, so they would be better off if a feature was added to purchase diamonds with coins. That way I can play more, and they can make more money off the adds i watch after puzzles rather than making nothing because I cant play anymore.

Great game, one opportunity for improvement

I love this game, and have been playing for over a year now. However, one thing that could be improved would be the mechanism for receiving diamonds. Diamonds are harder to get than coins, and I watch all the ads I can to get more diamonds because they're the ones that are actually necessary to play the game, but I get too many coins that I hardly even use - right now, I've amassed over 25,000 that I don't have anything to spend on because I don't use hints. On the other hand, I have to try to squeeze every diamond I can out of ads and weekly challenges. I will never spend real money on a game, so I think it would be a great improvement to either allow players to buy diamonds with coins or use coins to play the picture puzzle and nonograms pro, to differentiate them from the regular nonograms.

I do love this game, but…

Really! I really do love this game! this app Puzzle has been my go to chill out relax and just let my brain have some fun game for quite some time now. There are days I can’t get enough of it!
But unfortunately, I can never view the videos to get extra coins or blue gems anymore. This is been going on for sometime now and maybe I’m stupid, but I haven’t been able to figure out a way to reach any kind of customer service either. While I have stashed away enough gems to buy puzzles for a while, I am down to less than 300 coins; enough for two more hints in total. I know I probably use the hence more, but it’s my game; I can play how I want to. LOL
Anyway, I’m gonna play out those and keep trying to play videos to get more coins. If in the next couple of days they don’t start working I’m probably going to have to go looking for a new chill out and relax game. So thanks for the ride. It was a great one!
👍🏻♥️

Love it but a few problems

I’ve had this game for several months now and it’s by far my favorite game. I only have a couple problems with it. For one, it won’t let me play the puzzles under the “bunny and butterfly” picture puzzles. I completed four of them but all the sudden I can’t play them anymore. I’ve tried advancing to the next ones but it says in order to unlock it I need to complete all the puzzles from the previous screen. How can I complete them if I can’t play them? Second, I don’t get gems for watching videos anymore :( this started a couple days ago and when I click the button to get free gems for ads I go through watching the entire ad but it doesn’t give me my coins, and the number of ads I have does not go down. Even if I restart Nonogram and watch like 5 videos, I get no ads. Looking for an update soon to fix that because without the ads I can’t play nearly as many puzzles. Other than those two things I am very happy with Nonogram, and I will continue to play it. Hopefully these problems get fixed with updates.

Great game!

This review or for a grade in my English class, however it is still an honest and truthful review.
this app Puzzle is a game where you look at “cells in a grid that must be colored or left blank according to numbers at the edge of the grid to reveal a hidden picture” (Wikipedia). Nonogram offers many different levels of difficulty for each this app and different other types of puzzles as well, such as a traditional puzzle and a fill-in-the-picture type puzzle. I think this game is fantastic and fun because of the variety offered and because of its simplicity. In addition, the ads have many great things about them. They are easy to skip and are appropriate for the age limit listed (as they are all for other games). Despite the good factors of it, I wish that there we could be given more gems or have the puzzles cost less gems so that I can play for a little longer before running out of gems. Overall I think that many people would enjoy this game if they like solving puzzles and thinking, it is also a great game for quick plays when you don’t have a lot of time or for long car rides. This game is a lot of fun, and I hope that many others can enjoy it as well.

Good game

I like this this app game and I have played many others. There is an ad after every 2 puzzles and it requires gems to play the puzzles which you can watch ad’s for more gems. The problem is that you run out of gems all the time and only get to watch so many ads a day for more gems. At that point you have to either pay for more gems or wait 7 minutes to gain 1 more gem. I play everyday but keep running into not being able to play anymore due to running out of gems and no way to get more gems but to wait a ton of time or pay. Other than that it is a well put together game.

What’s going on????

I’ve had this game for years and have enjoyed playing it. I’d run out of gems (or is it money?), wait to build up more, then play again, ad infinitum. But at some point the game stopped asking me to pay for playing a puzzle but continued to give me my daily allotment of gems and coins. I currently have 48,530 coins and 7,633 gems. I just finished the this app called “Captain Hook’s Ship” and… there aren’t any more. There’s just a puzzle “frame” that says “Coming soon.” I’ve received no updates for a long time now (I have version 1.6.5, Copyright 2020) and I’m wondering—should I just pitch the game? Are there really any more nonograms coming? And why am I not being asked to spend gems or coins to solve a puzzle?

Update—I confused this game with another game I have by the same name. I am perfectly happy with this game and solve at least one puzzle every day. It used to have puzzles that had more than one solution but that seems to have fixed. That was the only issue I have ever had.

My favorite nongrams

This is my favorite this app puzzle app. The gameplay is smooth and straight forward. There are a lot of puzzles and a variety of grid sizes.

I legit quit playing the other 2 this app apps I sort of liked after I found this one because I REALLY like this one. You can play a fair amount of puzzles each day completely free, and the in game currency used to open them regenerates fairly quickly. You might have to watch an ad or two for some of the more expensive puzzles, but they aren’t too bad.

If you want to spend a few bucks here and there, I find the weekly subscription to actually be a very good value. I did once have a problem with not getting my bonuses, but it was fixed and rectified the same day I contacted them about it. By far the fastest customer service I’ve received from a mobile game.

Definitely grab this one if you like nonograms!

Brain’s Leisure-Time

TLDR- read it anyway.

I recently began these fun little puzzles, solo. They are a tease to my brain while I play for leisure or they are a battle for my brain while I play for a challenge. The images you puzzle out are various levels of difficulty. Each completion awards you something and there are advertisements you can use to have extra awards. Within the levels is an option to ‘purchase’ a row/column (using earned game-coins, not your money) if you need guidance.
Tonight, I sought my Mother’s help and we battled a ‘very hard’, needing to use three ‘assists’ to clear it! It was great rejoicing when we completed the challenge!
As we were playing on my phone, the numbers were too small for Mum to see. I wonder if something could be done with the game setup to make it more easily read... Then Mum could play solo, when I am not around to read the numbers. As when buying an ‘assist’ we tap the numbers that we want it to complete, we could tap the numbers and that row/column expands? Zooms? Or even speaks the numbers?? It would be easier if she had a large screen to play on… Alas. Fun game! I recommend it to any. I am 29, Mum is 60. Clearly, it suits a variety of age.
Oh, and it is somewhat like inception because there is a game within the game. You play the levels to make the picture pieces> gain coins/diamonds> but you also win hexagons to a puzzle separately to go find where your hexagons connect.

Worth Keeping

I have downloaded and played most of the this app apps. Some I have kept, some I deleted, some I paid for no ads, some I didn’t. This one is definitely a keeper. I bought some gems because you don’t really get enough to play a long time from your daily log in. The ads are minimal but I don’t mind paying a couple of dollars for gems and no ads. Things I like about this game are that it fills in the X’s for you and each time you solve a puzzle it gives you a hexagon tile which is used for a jigsaw puzzle. It’s like getting a bonus game.

Starts easy....

Just discovered this game a few weeks ago and I’m a daily player now. These puzzles get HARD after starting off fairly easy so it builds your confidence....only to crush it later 😆 The only con for me is that each game costs diamonds and the harder the puzzle, the more “expensive” to play. They do offer 8 ads per 24hrs to watch for free diamonds but I still blow through all of my diamonds every day since I’m playing “very hard” rated puzzles. Still a great game, tests your patience!
