I am really disappointed that scanmyT3SLA has no support for the Model X. The last update for scanmyT3SLA was 10 months ago and I guess if you don’t have a 3 or Y, you are S.O.L. What do we need to do to get some X support?

I had paid for scanmyT3SLA on my android phone a year or two ago initially after buying my Tesla. I bought a Veepeak Bluetooth obd module to use with it and enjoyed the access to all the additional data. I’ve since changed over to Apple and decided to rebuy scanmyT3SLA so I could gain access to the deep level data again only to find out now it only works with a specified Bluetooth adapter which will cost me another 80-90$. Sorry not gonna happen. I’d like my money back.

If you’re reading this you know this is the de facto app for reading Tesla data… but for Android. I know this is in beta, but the UI is very confusing and a lot of the options are not available (like recording performance data on android), and scanmyT3SLA is unclear on what it’s doing, eg, I can’t tell if the data being recorded is live-only or if the data is being recorded.

Teslax is way better in the UI department but also isn’t organized in a way for laymen to understand. Good work! I’ll update my review once scanmyT3SLA matures for iOS.

You do need to purchase the appropriate hardware to interface with scanmyT3SLA, but if you do, the vehicle provides an amazing level of diagnostic detail. Frankly, it may be more information than anyone would practically need. I was delighted to find out the day and time my vehicle was “born“.

I did interact with the developer, and he is very helpful and prompt. I highly recommend scanmyT3SLA.

The new update is loaded with features that no other app can provide including the smallest changes in voltage that lets you see exactly how amazingly efficient Tesla designed these cars. The developer is up on all the signal bus changes, and made sure that anything worthwhile was included in scanmyT3SLA .

A good application for checking battery status in Tesla cars.

I like scanmyT3SLA because it allows me to see lots of data from my Tesla’s CAN bus using my iPhone. The detailed battery and BMS info is great. Make sure you read scanmyT3SLA details and ensure you have the proper hardware attached to your car. This works great with the Obdlink MX+ over Bluetooth. I’m particularly happy about the recent addition of support for CANserver over WiFi.

I just got scanmyT3SLA and the necessary BT OBD2 scanner and harness from Amazon with next day delivery. I’m amazed by all the data I can see for our two Model Ss. Love that I can see my 0-60 (or 70) like using a draggy. Is there a 1/4 mile test hidden in here somewhere?
